This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. En kvalitativ studie om ungas uppfattning av deras representation i traditionella medier och hur det p?verkar deras samh?llsengagemang Authors: Ella Gustafsson, Elin Gustavsson och Julia Stjernberg Level: Bachelor thesis in Journalism Term: HT 2024 Supervisor: Bengt Johansson Aim of thesis: The main purpose of this study is to investigate how upper secondary school students perceive their representation in traditional news media and how they perceive that this representation affects their civic engagement. Theoretical framework: To answer the questions of the study we have used three different theories. These theories are Iris Marion Young?s view of the deliberative theory of democracy, the theory of diversity by Denis McQuail, and Axel Honneth?s theory of recognition. Method: The method chosen for the study was qualitative conversational interviews with upper secondary school students from different study programs in Sweden. In the study, five conversational interviews with a total of 16 students were conducted.

The large number of alternative fuels that are under development at present makes the future fuel-market impossible to predict. Scania?s ethanol project is associated with a number of uncertainty factors that are beyond the company?s control.

Syftet med den teoretiska undersökningen är att försöka förstå hur normöverträdelse och kunskapssökande utifrån det odefinierade kan bidra till personlig och konstnärlig utveckling. Studien syftar också till att synliggöra skapande- och förståelseprocesser som kan utnyttjas i skolan för att stärka motivation. Creating and maintaining good relationships can be problematic, but can this problem be different for a young woman with a neuropsychiatric disability as Aspergers syndrome? A person with Aspergers syndrome often has difficulties with communication and interaction with other people. But the syndrome is also characterized with special interests, different language management and difficulties with sudden changes.

Detta examensarbete är en del av ett större projekt, som är upplagt som ett samarbete mellan SLU och Stiftelsen Wanås utställningar. Vi är sju stycken trädgårdsingenjörsstudenter som har fått möjligheten att genomföra en utställning på temat experimentell köksträdgård med fokus på den urbana miljön. Förutom jag själv deltar följande studenter i arbetet kring utställningsprojektet: Clara Karlsson Cassland, Lisen Hendeberg, Maria Persson, Linda Wickström och Julia Zuber. Dessutom kommer en broschyr om projektet att sammanställas av Erikka Chapman. Min del i årets utställning handlar om koloniträdgården - och dess användning och uttryck ? men också den sociala roll som kolonirörelsen har haft genom dess drygt hundraåriga historia.
