The story of Jonathan and David is a part of the deuteronomical view of Israels history from the occupation of the holy land all the way to the exile in Babylon. I am aware of that this is not true history, but it is nevertheless interesting to ask oneself: Why are those people a part of the deuteronomical history? What was the meaning in telling the story in this way?Exegetes and researchers are trying to give the relationship between Jonathan and David a place in the political realm, but here I have used several sources to show that it is not only a political story, but a loveaffair, where Jonathan is pictured as a submissive woman and thereby excludes himself from the throne of Israel. David on the other hand, acts as the perfect man, who is in command in spite of his youth. He does not break the rules of the patriarchal society, where the relation between two men was accepted as long as the older one did not play the womans role.

As humans we transfer norms and values, which we are aware or unaware of, to the children near to us. These children embrace them, and the adult´s norms and values become the child's own ones. When a Bible story is going to be transformed into a children?s bible text it goes through shortening and simplification of the story to fit children´s bible edition. The adjustment will be unconscious and conscious choices that change the meaning of the text and the possibility of contextual interpretation.

SammanfattningSyftet med föreliggande uppsats var att ta reda på hur allians respektive opposition konstruerar och framställer resonemang om den personliga integriteten. I dessa resonemang gick det även att urskilja några övergripande perspektiv utifrån riksdagens protokoll. Protokollen som valdes ut begränsades till tidsperioden 1 januari, 2007- 31 januari, 2008. En diskursanalys har använts som metod för undersökningen där några av Jonathan Potters begrepp tillämpades för att se hur alliansen och oppositionen framförde sina argumentationer. Resultatet visade med hjälp av analysverktyget en likhet i sättet att argumentera om personlig integritet trots det faktum att de innehar olika ståndpunkter.

På detta sätt flätas komik och tragik samman och följs åtgenom hela romanen.Uppsatsens övergripande syfte är att undersöka hur översättaren har handskatsmed de problem som uppstår i översättningen av det avvikande språkbruket.Avvikelsernas funktioner och effekter i källtexten (KT) och i måltexten (MT)kommer också att analyseras i syfte att undersöka hur dessa språkliga egenheteröverförs till svenska och om deras funktioner och effekter skiljer sig från originalets.Avvikelserna har delats in i fyra grupper: grammatiska fel, semantiska misstag,avvikelser som rör stilnivå samt felaktiga idiom och kollokationer.Först gjordes en kvantitativ delundersökning för att ta reda på hur avvikelsernafördelades mellan de olika grupperna i KT och MT. Av denna framgår markantaskillnader i fördelningen av de olika feltyperna i KT och MT.

The interest for locally produced food is increasing due to consumer concern about the environment, distrust of industrial foods and a demand for high quality products. Apple is the predominant fruit crop in Sweden, and by processing apples into cider and vinegar, these products could significantly contribute to the development of the market of local foods.In this study different yeast types and different bacterial cultures were evaluated for their suitability in cider and vinegar production from cloudy apple juice. Ten apple cultivars (Aroma, Baldwin, Belle de Boskoop, Bramley, Cortland, Gravensteiner, Ingrid-Marie, Jonathan, Rubinola and Spartan) were also evaluated for their suitability for production of juice, cider and vinegar. Chemical analyses including total soluble solids, titratable acidity and total phenols were performed on the products along with sensorial evaluation by taste panels.The yeast strains were shown to have an effect on fermentation rate and the resulting content of total phenols in ciders fermented from cloudy apple juice. Dry commercial starter strains gave a higher appreciated cider compared to cider that was spontaneously fermented, and the ale yeast Safale S-04 was concluded to be the most suited for fermentation of cloudy apple juice.For vinegar production, the bacterial culture had an effect on TSS, but not on any other chemical or taste characteristics.

This Master?s thesis explores three contemporary Swedish poets? ? Lars Mikael Raattamaa, Anna Hallberg and Johan Jönson ? understanding of their work as a political activity. By using Jonathan Culler?s theory on literary competence and literary conventions as a theoretical tool for an idea analysis, the three poets' arguments for or against certain literary techniques, and their ideas about readers and reading, are explored and discussed.
