The purpose of this paper is to examine the narrative in You are a bad man, mr Gum! to be able to understand and explain the intermedial aspects of the work. I assume an intermedial, narratological and reception theory perspective in my analysis. The method of close reading is used combined with a reader-oriented perspective. I examine the medial aspects of the chosen work through the pictures, the text, and the iconicity of the typographical pattern of the text. To reach my goal, the following questions are dealt with: What is the character of the narration? How do the various media interact in the production of meaning? What is the relationship between the text and the implicit reader? What is the narratological difference between reading the book aloud and silently? The theoretical framework f the paper consists of narratological and intermedial theories.

Rapportens huvudfokus handlar om ifall det är möjligt att skapa mjuka kroppar med hjälp av många små fasta kroppar. Det kollas även ifall det går att ge ett realistiskt beteende vid kollision med dessa. Biblioteken som har används för att testa detta är Microsoft XNA och fysikmotorn Farseer Physics.Spelet som byggdes är ett 2D plattform spel där spelaren spelar en boll som kan hoppa på vattendroppar och löv som båda är mjuka kroppar. Vattendroppen är uppbyggd av små hårda kroppar medan lövet är en större hård kropp som med hjälp av en Distance Joint kan vrida på sig vid kollision.Det går att göra en mjuk kropp med realistiska kollisioner men fysik motorn som används i detta fallet ger vissa restriktioner..

Uppsatsen behandlar hur tre svenska byggföretag (Skanska, NCC och PEAB) har valt att internationalisera/etablering sig på den polska byggmarknaden. Eftersom byggföretags internationalisering kan tänkas se annorlunda ut än ett produktionsföretag finner vi detta som ett intressant ämne att studera vidare. Detta sker först via en genomgång av möjlig teoretisk data där vi granskat fyra olika internationaliseringsstrategier (international, multidomestic, global samt transnational), Uppsalamodellen samt sex olika etablerings former (t.ex. export, joint venture, dotterbolag etc.). Empirin har samlats in genom både sekundära samt primära källor.

Det har blivit vanligt att kommuner måste hänvisa en ny hämtningsplats pga. att sophämtningsentreprenörens skyddsombud har belagt hämtningen med skyddstopp. Därmed kan inte hushållsavfallet hämtas på den befintliga hämtningsplatsen utan kommunen måste hitta en ny hämtningsplats för hushållsavfallet. Ny hämtningsplats får inte meddelas hur som helst utan detta måste ske i enlighet med lagstiftning och förordningar.Syftet med denna uppsats är att få fram riktlinjer för vad som gäller när en ny hämtningsplats för hushållsavfall måste utfärdas och hur kommuner runt om i landet har löst problem som har uppstått i samband med detta.För att kunna upprätta en hämtningsplats måste Kommunen ha rådighet över eller avtal med ägaren till den mark som skall användas för hämtningsplatsen. Kommunerna som svarade på enkäten har löst problemet på olika sätt men i regel har det varit antingen kommunens eller den berörda fastighetsägarens mark som använts till hämtningsplats för hushållssoporna.Avståndet mellan bostaden och hämtningsplatsen kan variera från fall till fall men Avfall Sverige har tagit fram riktlinjer för fritidshus om 400-500 meter.

Is it possible to conduct a joint organizational change despite different circumstances and different starting points, and still talk about the same organizational change? Can all the work that leads to more efficient operations fall into the same category? How can such concept gain legitimacy? The result shows that by talking about a concept, in this case, Lean, as something that leads to a better and more efficient organization, without for that matter have to set a defined content of the concept you still can present the process as one concept. Tough the concept will be practically blank. But there is still a rhetorical value in the concept of Lean. The organization institutionalizes the concept and obtains in this way legitimacy from its surroundings.

Studien uppmärksammar komplexiteten i relationen mellan socialt arbete och sociala medier, med fokus på narrativ kring socioekonomiska strukturer och dess konstruktion. ?Fattigbloggen? som personligt, offentligt och politiskt debattforum tjänstgjorde som exempel på ett i svensk kontext försök till omarbetning av existerande synsätt, vars dialog lade grunden för uppsatsens analytiska resonemang angående välfärdspolitikens hantering av strukturell ojämlikhet. Valet att använda tematiskt inriktad narrativ metod resulterade i slutsatsen att genomslag av sanningar som språkligt konstruerade fenomen underlättas av mediemiljöns möjlighet att nå ett vidsträckt upptagningsområde. Berättelser om kollisionen mellan organisation och allmänhet kunde därmed betraktas som tillräckligt inflytelserika för att etablera det dominerande sättet att se på socialtjänsten; ett faktum som tydliggjorde nödvändigheten med ökad mediemedvetenhet inom socialt arbete.

This essay covers computer gaming as seen from a perspective of gender theory. The main purpose of the essay is to examine women?s relationship to computer games, and more specifically women?s attitudes to the games they play. The theoretical basis for this essay is sprung from a hermeneutic perspective. The empirical basis for analysis consists of two in depth interviews and game analysis of the two computer games Counter Strike and Final Fantasy XI.

Children's language development is highly connected to the success of every school. Especially when it comes to the children learning reading and writing skills, regardless of what method the schools use in order to achieve this. An early intervention can facilitate the learning of reading comprehension. Reading aloud and playing with the language learning is the greatest gift we can give our children and students. Children learn how to use a book by turning the pages and see how the words and texts are structured.

Antalet kretskort som monteras i multikortssystem, till exempel telekommunikationssystem, ökar ständigt. Samtidigt som ytmonteringstekniken och packningstekniken blir allt bättre utvecklas även tillverkningsmetoderna för olika integrerade komponenter, vilket medför att varje kretskort rymmer allt fler integrerade komponenter. Detta gör att testning av integrerade komponenter och multikortsystem blir alltmer komplex. En förutsättning för att kunna genomföra effektiv testning är standarder. Standarder över hur testning ska genomföras medför att en komponent som uppfyller kraven från en standard är direkt utbytbar mot en komponent från en annan tillverkare som uppfyller kraven från samma standard.

This report is a joint venture with SCA Skog AB in the Jämtland forest management area. The company is a major player in the timber market in northern Sweden, and also a large business globally with offices in over 100 countries. The purpose of the study was to find out how timber suppliers want feedback/follow-up after completion of timber business. To determine this, a questionnaire survey was sent out to 75 landowners who supplied the wood for the company during the past year. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 15 questions with the opportunity to comment on certain issues.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the narrative elements in three of the Swedish artist Karin Mamma Anderssons paintings and try to see what kind of stories that might be hidden in these paintings. I have chosen three different themes as tools for this study. They are: the meaning or the importance of the titles, painting as a medium and the narrative elements or components in the paintings. Furthermore I also use the semiotic method in my analysis based on the ideas of Roland Barthes combined with a feminist theoretical standpoint with a gender perspective. This means my study is based on the reception of these images and what kind of message they might carry.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to discuss and analyse co-operation between public and academic libraries. The political changes that were initiated during 2004 have come to alter the conditions for Swedish libraries. The Swedish library law was changed at the 1st of January 2005 and co-operation between libraries is now statuary even if there is no description of how the new mission is to be executed. At the same time an extensive report about the Royal Library and its role as the Swedish National Library was presented. This report also recommended an increased co-operation between different types of libraries.

This Thesis in Military Technology deals with experiences drawn from the forced introduction of Weapons Station 01, 2009. The work aims to identify the experiences regarding the forced procurement of military equipment to see how they can develop normal and fast procurement of equipment. The main conclusions of  this work, is to achieve greater capability and increase the military utility, are: -          Common objectives and priorities of stakeholders-          Response and joint types shall determine requirements for system-          Ensure an integrated project team also at lower levels-          Engage the integrated logistic support early in the materiel process-          Include Armed Forces staff as early as possible in the testing and validation-          Prioritize work to facilitate the rapid development of decision on use (BOA)-          Provide back up for increased redundancy in the mission area .

VD:n för spelindustrins intresseorganisation (Interactive Digital Software Association) förutspår i den årliga State of the Industry rapporten för åren 2000 ? 2001, att spelindustrin snart kan nå 70 procent av världens hushåll, vilket gör spelmaskinen, näst intill, lika vanlig som videon. I denna dag börjar många spelutbildningar växa fram i hela landet, så som i Karlshamn, Visby och Kramfors. Trots denna tillväxt finns det nästan ingen akademisk forskning i ämnet speldesign. Detta gör att hjulet i många fall tvingas återuppfinnas om och om igen.

I uppsaten analyseras skrävlets narrativa och ideologiska implikationer i enlighet med det Jameson kallar social symbolhandling i Dan Anderssons Amerika-skildring Chi-mo-ka-ma från 1920. Här noteras textens antitetiska relation till den billiga läsning som den vanligtvis vänsterradikale Andersson beskrev boken som i brev till Bonniers, liksom till populära eller reifierade genremarkörer och den ideologi som denna konsumtionskultur är ett uttryck för. Den paradoxala narration som därmed uppstår, främst i bilden av indianerna, kan även tolkas som de textuella följderna av en reell subtext, som, tillsammans med underklassens villkor, kan betraktas som en politiskt undermedveten nivå av realism. Då skrävlets ideologem glider mellan att förvränga verkligheten till sin motsats och mimetisk upplösning i ren verklighetsflykt kan vår förståelse hur detta fungerar inte användas som en säker tolkningskod för att avtäcka den subversiva nivån i en allegorisk läsning. Boken blir därmed ambivalent mellan anti-mimetisk modernism, populism och en indirekt antydd subversiv realism.
