The project has been implemented in collaboration with Carl-Johan Lundberg on Deltagruppen Ltd in Jönköping. Problem introduction comes from Carl-Johan's own experience from the hotel sector. The problem that all hotels has is that they sell two products, i e. simple - and double rooms. Persons that travel in companies do not desire always to share bed.Focus in the work is to develop a product that holds together two simple beds and forms double bed, concurrent that it goes that converters to two simple bed without needing to disassemble the product and be done invisible.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka roller Axel Oxenstierna och Johan Adler Salvius hade i det fredsförberedande arbetet inför och under fredskongressen i Westfalen, men även att utifrån Salvius brev till Oxenstierna undersöka hur deras relation såg ut under den aktuella tidsperioden. De uppgifter som framkommer i Salvius brevväxling till Oxenstierna angående deras relation, samt deras roller och uppgifter under de fredsförberedande åren 1643-1648 kommer därefter att analyseras och jämföras med hur detta har skildrats av historieskrivarna Gunnar Wetterberg och Sune Lundgren. De resultat som studien har frambringat visar på att både Oxenstierna och Salvius var innehavare av mycket centrala roller i det fredsförberedande arbetet, samt att deras tidigare relativt nära relation till varandra försämrades något under åren 1643-1648..

The time span of the papers stretches from 1823 to 1982.The main problems I?ve been confronted with during this work have to do with respecting provenance and original order.

 An analysis in the work of Martin Kellermans comic ?Rocky? of the interaction between the male and female characters and of how each of their gender are portrayed. We are going to find out if it is probable for young adults to be affected by any eventual gender-stereotypes that we can find in ?Rocky? or if ?Rocky? consolidates a stereotypical image of men and women that young adults might have developed through different media. This essay is a work on Mircea Eliades's interpretation of the religious human understood as "homo religiosus" and the role of the shaman from the Eliade perspective. In Eliade human existence consists of a dichotomy between the sacred and the profane. The question is whether one can understand the concept of Eliades ?axis mundi?, center of the universe? Can we create an understanding of human existence with Eliade? Can one use  phenomenology of religion as perspective for the exploration of ?reality?? Furthermore, this paper aims to understand the role of the shaman has religious worldviews. Shamaism  is through an ecstatic technique traveling to other cosmic plane, in order to gain knowledge that would otherwise not be reached.

Anne Reese: Johan Lindegrens vägval : en studie i de faktorer som påverkade enskilda aktörers verksamhet inom Stockholms musiksamhälle 1860-1908, Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för Musikvetenskap, uppsats för 100 poäng, 2007.The aim of this essay is to show some of the factors which affected the production and work of the individual musician or composer within Stockholm's music society in the late 19th century. By a case study on Johan Lindegren (1842-1908) I demonstrate how a musician or a composer functioned in the social structures of the music society and how power affected the work of the musician or composer. This essay also fills another purpose as it gives Lindegren a more detailed biography, which is something that has been missing until now.By applying a concept of power, as discussed by Michel Foucault, to this subject and interacting it with the concepts of musical opportunism, I present a new way of talking about the social, as well as the individual factors that affects the individual musician within the music society.The conclusion is drawn that there are two different types of factors that affects the work of the individual; 1) the social network and power within society, which presents positions and opportunities for the musician and 2) the individual character of musician which determine the way the individual uses the position or opportunity he or she is given..

Bergslagets museum is one of the oldest industrial museums in Sweden. It opened in 1922 in Falun, by the big mining company Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags Aktiebolag. This is a study of why a company would be interested in running a museum, why Bergslagets museum opened and who the people were that created it.Several persons were involved in collecting and organizing the models of old machinery, letters, paintings, pictures that was to become the Bergslagets museum. This paper shows different motives behind the opening of an industrial museum in Falun and gives a presentation of its superintendants, Carl Sahlin, Alvar Silow, Erik Johan Ljungberg and Olof Söderberg. All of them were central in the creating of the Bergslagets museum, today known as Gruvmuseet i Falun..

1800-talet betraktas som statyresandets epok då särskilt under andra hälften av 1800-talet tusentals monument uppfördes runt om i Europa. Statyprojekt och invigningar är tillfällen då olika krafter mobiliseras för att markera vad som är värdefullt i det förflutna men också i framtiden. Den 20 oktober 1846 invigdes statyn av Karl XIV Johan i Norrköping. Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka vilken dynamik som skapades kring och genom Karl Johans statyinvigning under perioden 1844-1846. Det vill säga från statyprojektets initiativtagande till invigningen, samt tiden efter fram till december 1846.

Den svenska alternativrörelsen frodades under 1960- och 1970-talet och introducerade för det svenska folket en rad alternativa tankar om hur ett samhälle kan se ut. Rörelsen ifrågasatte tidigare givna auktoriteter och lyck­ades på det viset väcka den politiska debatten om bland annat miljö, jämställdhet och utrikespolitik.Carl Johan De Geer, än idag aktiv som konstnär, var en av de framträdande figurerna i den här rörelsen. En av hans gärningar var en framgångsrik affischproduktion under 1960-talet som uttryckte en politik i symbios med alternativrörelsens politik. De affischer från denna produktion som jag analyserar är: Yttrandefrihet på torget, Skända flaggan, USA mördare, Vägra vapen och ?Turkiet är inte bara...?. Jag har analyserat dessa affischer med en semiotisk bildanalys genom att ha delat upp affischerna i fyra olika meddelanden: det lingvistiska som behandlar texten, två meddelanden som fokuserar på bilden samt det multi­modala som undersöker texten och bildens samverkan.

The idea to this bachelor thesis was born after carefully following the coverage of Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye in Swedish media during their imprisonment in Ethiopia from June 2011 to September 2012. Based on our interest we designed two questions to answer throughout the thesis. These are:(1) How are Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye portrayed as journalists in the discussion about them that has taken place in Swedish media?(2) How is the journalistic profession described in the discussion about Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye in Swedish media? To answer these questions we decided to analyse texts that can be defined as the genre of opinion journalism, which all came from Swedish printed media. We have chosen 16 texts to analyse which show the variety of ways to write about Persson and Schibbye in the chosen genre during the chosen period of time. Opinion journalism is what newspapers use to attract readers, as they want to supplement the news coverage with comments and analysis from ?experts?. Persson and Schibbye were imprisoned in Ethiopia in June of 2011, and weren?t released until 15 months later, in September of 2012. To analyse our material we have amongst others used theories regarding social constructionism, representation, discourse, the journalistic identity and the journalistic ideals that exist in Swedish society.

Konflikt och vad som definieras som en våldsam konflikt är en central fråga i freds och konfliktforskning, men det är också en fråga som inte behandlas. Generellt definieras en våldsam konflikt som en konflikt enligt definitionen av Uppsala University Conflict Database med 1000 dödsoffer per år.Den här uppsatsen försöker titta på andar aspekter än den begränsade definitionen, genom att applicera Johan Galtungs konfliktmodell på ett fall som inte accepteras som en våldsam konflikt under definitionen av 1000 döda per år, nämligen Konflikten mellan Kina och Tibet. Galtung menar att det finns olika former av våld och att en för ensidig fokusering av det fysikiska eller direkta våldet begränsar uppfattningen av konflikten och att det gör att samhällsstrukturer uppfattas som fredliga trots att de har uppvisar flera andra icke fredliga..

Utifrån särlingen, bonden, uppfinnaren, mytens och havets man Johan August Gustafsson (1852-1932) undersöks hans konstnärskap med begreppen original, modernitet och primitivism samt djuppsykologins och modernitetens framväxt.I uppsatsen analyseras ett urval av åtta artefakter med en hjälp av en semiotisk bildanalys och en stilanalys med syfte att försöka finna en eventuell förändring i hans konstnärskap och om detta var något som förväntades av särlingars konst eller om den förväntades vara genuin.Författaren framhåller problematiken mellan skillnaden att vara erkänd konstnär och att få stämpel som original, mot att vara original med strävan att bli erkänd som konstnär. J.A.G. tillhörde den senare kategorin och nådde inte sitt mål under sin livstid, men som särlingars konst har de en tendens att bli erkända först efter sin död..

This paper concerning the regional architectural term known as the Tjust Empire style analyses manor houses built in the Tjust area by the east coast of Småland in the period 1810-1860. The term Tjust Empire style was invented in 1937 by PhD. Manne Hofrén in his dissertation on architecture in Kalmar län in the period 1650-1850. The aim of the paper is firstly to determine whether there is a distinct difference between the regional Tjust Empire style in architecture and the common Swedish empire style or as its Swedish equivalent is known; the Karl Johan style. Secondly, the paper strives to analyse why and how the Empire style became so popular in the area during this period, focusing on architecture as a means to express social identity and status.

I den här uppsatsen utgår vi från romanen Kunzelmann och Kunzelmann av Carl-Johan Vallgren. Vi analyserar den för att ta reda på hur den förhåller sig till det postmoderna samhället, och även hur postmodern romanen i sig är. I analysen använder vi oss av en dekonstruktivistisk metod där vi utgår endast från texten och inte författaren, och vi lutar oss på teorier om postmodernism samt queerteori. Analysen har vi strukturerat utefter vissa teman som vi har kunnat urskilja i romanen, som lägger viss tonvikt dels på sexualitet och dels på dikotomierna äkta och falskt. Vi tittar på de två huvudkaraktärerna Joakim och hans far Viktor, deras uppfattning av vad som är falskt och verkligt samt tematas ?porr?, ?queer? och ?en postmodern värld?.
