The aim of this dissertation is to examine why smaller municipalities[1] in Sweden experience difficulties when implementing the 16 environmental objectives that are designed to solve Sweden's environmental problems.The theoretical framework used for this dissertation is implementation theory which provides three conditions that need to be met in order to have a successful implementation.  These three conditions have shaped the research questions that examine if Torsby municipality has the "understanding," "ability" and "will" needed to implement the decision correctly.  The dissertation employs a case study method to examine why Torsby municipality has experienced difficulties implementating the target: programmes and strategies for planning, which is an interim target to environmental objective number 15: A good built environment.  Qualitative text analysis and interviews with politicians and civil servants from Torsby municipality and the county administration board of Värmland have been conducted in order to answer the research questions.   The material used for this dissertation is mostly from the government bills that are the foundation of the Swedish environmental policy and the documents and reports about the environmental objectives that the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket), the Swedish Environmental protection agency (Naturvårdsverket), and the Environmental objectives council (Miljörådet) have released.The result of this dissertation supports previous research which has shown that smaller municipalities have problems implementating the environmental objectives due to a lack of financial resources. This dissertation also shows that the problems can be due to a lack of understanding the purpose of the objectives.  This leads to a lack of political will to implement the objectives.  Since the municipalities do not have the political will to implement the objectives the appropriate resources needed for a successful implementation are not appointed and therefore the municipalities are not able to fully implement the environmental objectives. [1] Municipalities with less than 20 000 inhabitants..

Min rapport har följt upp hur Bergenudds jobbar i dagsläget med deras byggservice och hur de jobbar för att effektivisera deras produktion och öka förtjänsten.Jag har byggt min rapport på samtal med snickare och hantverkare som jobbar med servicejobben på Bergenudds. Jag har även fört diskussioner med arbetsledare och VDn: Dan Lindbäck om deras uppfattningar och idéer hur effektiviteten kan ökas.Byggbranschen har tyvärr fått ett dåligt ryckte att vara väldigt ineffektiva och ta för lång tid att utföra deras jobb. Problemet är att det kan vara många olika moment som kräver en noggrann planering och samordning. Det är där som jag har upplevt att det drar ut på tiden när hantverkaren måste vänta på elektrikern eller rörmokaren. Det är många moment som ska samordnas på ett så smidigt sätt som möjligt.

Sustainability reporting involves reporting the economic, social and environmental aspects of an organization's operations. The trend has been towards an all the more scrutinizing society with an increasing demand for transparency and translucency. A greater focus on environmental issues has also contributed to sustainability?s increasing importance as a topic.

The empirical data used for this master thesis, consists of eight manuals with the main purpose to help students evaluate information resources found on the web or Internet. The purpose is to elucidate the discourses and investigate those textual characteristics, which figure in the investigated manuals. The method used is a discursive and linguistic approach, with a power/knowledge discussion applied to the results. The analysis identifies, among other things, the production and consumption of the investigated texts, and that the manuals function as a reflection of the relationship between the participants in the situation, the sociocultural practice of the institution and its identity..

Syfte med studien var att undersöka elevers tankar och uppfattningar kring nyttan med att kunna läsa. För att få svar på följande frågeställningar; Vad är läsning, enligt elever, vilka uppfattningar har elever om att kunna läsa och när upplever elever att de har användning för sin läskunskap.  Vi beslöt oss för att genomföra en enkätundersökning. Samtliga elever som ingick i vår kvalitativa studie går i årskurs tre. Eleverna gick i två olika skolor i två skilda kommuner.Resultatet som framkom visar att eleverna inte har en klar uppfattning av varför det är bra att kunna läsa. De anser dock att läsning är ordförståelse, kunskap och ord.

People have used forest resources in northern Sweden for different purposes. Before the 20th century the forest was used for many different reasons, but during the past 200 years it has become an industrial raw material. The presence of people in the forest has left different kinds of traces in the forests. One example is culturally modified trees (CMT´s). The aim of this study was to study and document how people have used the forest resources during the last centuries in Brännlidens nature reserve, and what kind of traces this land use has left.

Syftet med denna studie är att få kunskap om hur tiden som arbetsslös kan påverka individens motivation som arbetssökande. Den övergripande frågeställningen är om motivationen till att hitta ett jobb skiljer sig mellan kort- och långtidsarbetslösa ungdomar. Motivationen har här undersökts genom att jämföra om kort- och långtidsarbetslösa skiljer sig i upplevd locus of control, self-efficacy, värdet av ett arbete samt upplevda krav och faktisk nedlagd ansträngning. 106st arbetslösa ungdomar, samtliga inskrivna på Arbetsförmedlingen, deltog i enkätundersökningen. Resultatet visade inga signifikanta skillnader mellan kort- och långtidsarbetslösa i motivationen till att hitta ett arbete.

SNA Europe?s handsaw concept is called ?Bahco Handsaw System? and is constituted by a saw handle with the possibility to switch between different saw blades. The sales of ?Bahco Handsaw System? products have not achieved the desired results probably due to the high price. Developing a more cost efficient handle, enabling a lower consumer price of the product, is assumed to increase the sales volume.

Further, the purpose is to discuss which conditions that exists for the examined SME: s in order to implement an ERP-solution.Method            The thesis consists of a qualitative research where the authors have interviewed either the owner or employees at management level by using semi-structured interviews.
