In today?s society the average person is flooded by information from everywhere. This is in particular the case when using the Internet; consider for a moment the fact that a decent search engine at this moment scans 8 058 million homepages. For a user that repeatedly comes back to the same site, the case is often that they know what they are looking for. The problem is to isolate the important information from all the other information embedding it.We would like to state that we have found one possible solution to this problem, where the user himself can define what information he is looking for at a specific server, then scan the server when visiting it with his browser.

This case study's aim was to strengthen the state of knowledge about how horticultural companies in Sweden used railway transports between 1900s and the 1950s. Economic theories and a micro-historical perspective have been used to analyze the collected source material, and to describe Lindehult's market garden. The investigation is based on document analyzes, qualitative interviews, archive studies and literature studies to evaluate the sources' information through a source pluralistic method. The work has been based on historical source material in the form of payment vouchers, giving an insight into how the company's products were transported by rail across Sweden. Sture Hjalmarsson's diary and interviews have described the case and events that affected the company internally.

The PhonePages of Sweden is a company that develops software for mobile units, especially cell phones. This thesis treats the development of, and contingencies for, a mobile phone directory, using the limited resources found in a mobile unit. The project was implemented and executed at The PhonePages with the intention of creating a product to sell to a third party.By studying different solutions, their benefits and drawbacks, an abstract picture of the product was constructed. Problems covered include compatibility problems caused by todays platform diversity as well as problems with saving, organizing and presenting data.The main goal was to create a phone directory which does not make external information retrievals. The service should contain both company and personal information, with name and phonenumber.

The aim of this essay was to investigate how social workers, within chosen Social services districts in the northwest of Skåne, work with children placed in foster care. Our purpose was to investigate the interaction between the child and the foster home from the perspective of the Ecology of Human Development. Our questions were:* How do the social worker prepare the child and the foster home before a placement?* What kind of support is offered to the foster home with the purpose of supporting the child?* How do the social worker make the childs contact with the biological parents easier?* To what degree does the social worker work on strengthening the child's network?* Which factors do the social worker decide the allocation of support?* What do the social worker think affects the work with the foster home from a society level?To answer our question we have interviewed nine social workers. We found that the social workers were generally good at perceiving how the micro- and meso-systems, and to a certain extent the exo-system, influenced the foster child.

Denna examensuppsats skrevs under utbildningen på speciallärarprogrammet på Malmö Högskola under våren 2015. Det är en kvalitativ studie som utgår från det sociokulturella perspektivet där talet är tankens redskap. Jag har genom fokusgrupper och lärarnas reflektioner i form av dokument samlat in min empiri. Det insamlade materialet har jag analyserat utifrån Kintsch och Rawsons modell för läsförståelseprocessen och bedömningens olika former. Mitt resultat visar på att lärarna, när de bedömer elever, bedömer hur väl eleverna kan genomföra olika aktiviteter kopplade till läsförståelse.

reMIND är ett verktyg som kan användas för att modellera och optimera processer. Programmet genererar ett ekvationssystem som därefter kan optimeras av ett externt optimeringsprogram. Ursprungligen utvecklades reMIND på Linköpings universitet och är ett ?Open Source?-projekt. Programmet befinner sig fortfarande på utvecklingsstadiet och målet med det här projektet är att komma vidare i den utvecklingen.

Vi ser en förändring i hur vi använder applikationer. Från att tidigare varit associerat till en dator och begränsat till ett par operativsystem finns de numera överallt. Fler plattformar innebär att man måste utveckla en applikation till var och en av dessa. Detta gör att utvecklingstiden och kostnaderna ökar och efterfrågan av crossplattformlösningar i form av webbapplikationer har därför ökat. Vi tittar närmare på hur det går att använda sig av HTML5, och övriga tekniker som en modern webbläsare har integrerat stöd för, för att utveckla webbaserade applikationer. Vi tar reda på om det finns några hinder eller begränsningar i detta och om det finns några fördelar i att använda webben som plattform. Resultatet indikerar att med de nya tekniker som är på ingång kan man utveckla webbbaserade applikationer med prestanda motsvarande Java eller C#.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på Vattenfall Eldistribution AB i Trollhättan och syftar till att beräkna förlustförändringarna i lågspänningsnätet då mikroproduktion i form av solceller ansluts.Genom att ansluta mikroproduktion i lågspänningsnätet kan nätets energiförluster reduceras. Denna reducering samt den energi som inte behöver överföras från överliggande nät anses vara den nätnytta solceller ger upphov till.Samtliga elproducenter som är anslutna till elnätet har rätt till ersättning för nätnytta uppkommen av produktionen. Ersättningen skall baseras på inmatad energi samt vid vilken tidpunkt inmatningen sker. För mikroproducenter är det svårt att motivera att i varje enskilt fall beräkna nätnyttan, varför ett generellt schablonvärde beräknats för Vattenfalls lågspänningsnät. Beräkningen har utförts utifrån uppmätta sol- och lastdata på sex olika lågspänningsnät vilka tillsammans anses representera ett generellt nät.

The study sheds light on pupils individual plans of development and portfolios from the perspective of children. It has an ethnographic standpoint. It was carried out on children and pupils in pre-school, pre-school class and third grade. By further investigating how children and pupils use their individual development plans and portfolios, in which settings and to whom they communicate them, this study is able to grasp the discourse that is created around the instrument itself. This study is also interested in and aims to find the theoretical frame, in essence, which envelops both the construction of childhood and children?s own activities within the limitations and opportunities that this structure offers.

A qualitative interview study how the normative gender images affects on women, their roles and positions in a drug abuse. The purpose of this study aims to shed a light at the consequences that the normative gender scenario inflicts on women with drug abuse and how these prejudices affects these women. Based on interviews with four different women who all lived with a drug abuse we have problematized how the gender system and the normative gender images affected them. We have used gender perspectives and social constructivism theories while analyzing the empirical basis. More specifically we use the theories of Butler about how gender constructs through performative actions and Hirdmans theories of the gender system.

Background & Problem: The Statutory audit was initiated in the beginning of 1983 with the argument that it had a preventative affect against economic crimes. It is discussed whether the statutory audit should be abolished considering it brings major costs for small limited companies, also there are discussions however easing the regulation for these companies. What effect would it impose for the preventative work against economic crimes if the statutory audit is abolished?Purpose: The purpose with this study is to learn how an abolishment of the statutory audit among so called micro businesses will affect authorities? preventive work against the economic crimes.Demarcate: The study is demarcated to comprise only authorities that work with preventing economic crimes with help of the statutory audit and that will be affected of an possible abolishment, such as the Swedish Tax Office (Skatteverket) and the Swedish National Economic Crimes Bureau (Ekobrottsmynigheten).Methodology: The research is based on a qualitative approach with personal interviews with two representatives from each authority. The gathering of data has been done by researching literature and databases.Conclusions: The result shows that the statutory audit is significant for the authorities and their preventive work.

Tack vare bättre och bättre förutsättningar för utveckling av mobila applikationer, samt utbredning av internetbaserade tjänster, presenteras här ett underlag inför val av mobil utvecklingsplattform. De undersökta plattformarna är Android och Iphone på grund av deras växande utbredning på smartphonemarknaden. Studien presenterar förutsättningar för att utveckla webbtjänst-understödda applikationer för intern distribuering. Ett visuellt tilltalande användargränssnitt är också i fokus för den typen av applikation studien riktar sig mot.Vi har kommit fram till att Android är lättare att lära sig om man kommer ifrån en Java- eller .Netmiljö samt lättare att distribuera. Iphone har däremot bättre stöd för att utveckla grafiskt tilltalande applikationer.

Tidigare studier hänvisar till bristen av forskning som berör funktionell träning såsom corestärkande bålstabilitetsträning för att öka idrottslig prestation. Det är dessutom omdiskuterat om träning, som skapar instabilitet i anslutning till träningsövningar, förbättrar stabiliteten som i sin tur ska verka prestationshöjande. Den mest likvärda studie som har gjorts angående träningsprogram med slyngor för att stärka bålstabiliteten hos handbollsspelare med syfte att påvisa en prestationsökning i kasthastighet visar på signifikant effekt. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om ett sex veckors träningsprogram för bålstabilitet med träningsredskapet Func.Gym training bands gav en förbättrad kasthastighet hos manliga elithandbollsspelare.Två grupper användes i studien, en testgrupp bestående av sex testpersoner (n=6) med en medelålder på 22,3 år och en kontrollgrupp bestående av tre testpersoner (n=3) med en medelålder på 21 år. Alla subjekten var aktiva elithandbollslaget HK Drott. Träningsprogrammet innefattade sex olika övningar och genomfördes med hjälp av det funktionella träningsredskapet Func.Gym training bands.För att mäta kasthastigheten användes Casio EX-F1 EXILIM, inställning på höghastighet (hs) med 300 frames per second (fps).

Aim: To examine the reaction of extreme preterm infants with regarding to body temperature and transepidermal water loss during skin-to-skin care according to Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) during the infant?s first week of life. Method: This was a descriptive quantitatively designed study, which was a pilot study within the framework of a larger project. Nine children, with a median gestational age of 24.91 weeks, were examined by measuring body temperature (axilla and skin temperature) as well as transepidermal water loss before, during and after KMC. Results: The study showed that skin temperature tended to rise during KMC, especially for those children who were nursed with KMC for more than 60 minutes.

The computer consultant company Create in Lund AB wishes to facilitate their invoice routines, as it at present is required that the administration finds and compares information from two different systems.The purpose of this thesis is to develop an invoice management system that simplifies the invoice management process for the administration at Create. During the development of the system, I have chosen to follow the software development process Unified Process and also tried to find design patterns that can be applied to the integration.The result of my project is a self-contained application developed using the Java programming language that communicates with the databases of the other two systems and presents relevant information to the user as a set of invoices. Of the 23 design patterns I studied, I used four of them in the invoice management system. However I couldn?t find any connection between any design pattern and the integration of systems.
