This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. (Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart)3) Religion returned in the public sphere.

In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

In this essay I have aimed to examine how the theology of Paul Tillich relate to modern views of reality, both the way it was expressed in his contemporary time and the way I see it today. Reality I have defined as an entirety of the physic- and metaphysic reality. A so called panentism where God is reality and the world is a part of this reality.With Tillichs Systematic Theology as my principal material, I have first made a brief presentation of his theology, of its construction and main concepts. Then I have chosen to further examine the way he describes being, reason and revelation to see how this particular concepts of Tillich agree with my definition of reality. In this I have consulted the books Tillich in Dialogue by Mackenzie-Brown and Natural Theology Versus Theology of Nature, a book edited after the forth international Tillich symposium 1992, which had "Tillichs thinking as impetus for a discourse among theology, philosophy and natural sciences" as a theme.I have tried to point out the possibilities opened up by the ontology and epistemology of Tillich for the dialogue between theology and natural sciences.

English abstractTitle: Islam and the limitations of the public will of choice.The purpose of this paper have been to investigate how three modern Islamic theorists view the limitations of the public free will of choice based upon their interpretation of the Islamic theology and doctrine.The paper focuses to highlight how all three chosen Islamic theorist interpret the Islamic doctrine based upon my elected theses and more specifically pinpoint were the free will of choice ends, and Islam as a religion starts to take hegemony. The paper?s aim is to further an understanding that in the modern world and as a effect of increased literacy, Islam has been somewhat inclined to split into several Islamisms, based upon the variety of fatwa?s on the Islamic doctrine that is available online. I den här uppsatsen har jag försökt reda ut och förklara den svenska arbetarrörelsens tolkning av marxismen och hur den utvecklades från 1900-talets början fram till 1932 då Socialdemokraterna kom till makten. Jag har följt diskussionerna i tidskriften Tiden om marxismens grundläggande teorier: den filosofiska materialismen, den materialistiska historieuppfattningen, teorierna om kapitalismens utveckling, arbetarklassens kamp mot densamma och det slutliga införandet av det socialistiska samhället. Debatter kring marxismen har varit återkommande i Tiden: både diskussioner om marxismen och diskussioner om samhällsutvecklingen utifrån marxismens teorier. Det är tydligt att skribenterna blir allt mer kritiska till flera av Marx teorier längre in på undersökningsperioden. Detta på grund av dels inflytande från den långtgående revisionismen inom den tyska socialdemokratin, dels på grund av observationer av det framväxande svenska industrisamhället.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur kristendomen konstitueras när text i ett antal skolböcker utgivna efter 2011 års kursplan för åk 7-9 behandlar livsfrågor. Studien tar ansats i ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv grundat i diskursteori samt John Deweys transaktionsbegrepp. Det innebär att skolböckers texter identifieras i termer av diskurser vilka betraktats som deltagare i den verklighet som framträder för eleven. Inom detta perspektiv är en viktig utgångspunkt att på det sätt vi individer uppfattar oss själva och omgivningen styrs av och konstitueras i språket.  På så sätt kan skolböckernas språk genom text sägas konstruera verkligheten för eleven vilket i sin tur får konsekvenser för elevens förhållande till kristendomen och dess utövare. Men också i relation till elevens eget utvecklande av en personlig livsåskådning.

Följande studie applicerar en experimentell analysram (baserad på kritisk diskursanalys och Köpenhamnsskolans teorier om säkerhetisering?) på diskursiva mikrostrukturer, d.v.s. specifikameningar i specifika texter, i japanska debattartiklar om kollektivt självförsvar, i syfte att på ett systematiskt vis åskådliggöra diskursiva analogikedjor om hot på mikronivå. Studien överväger även det sätt, på vilka diskursiva mikrostrukturer samverkar till att skapa narrativa makrostrukturer ? s.k.

SammanfattningDenna studie ämnar till att bredda kunskap kring sexual debut i Rwanda, där forskning i en afrikansk kontext kopplar tidig ålder vid sexual debut samt föräktenskapligt sex till ett riskfyllt sexuellt beteende. Eftersom att risken för ökat antal sex partners samt oskyddat sex stiger, vilket kan leda till oönskade effekter så som sexuellt överförbara sjukdomar och oönskade graviditeter. Rwanda är ett land som drabbats hårt av HIV spridning framförallt som en konsekvens av oskyddat samlag. Därför anser vi att en studie kring sexuellt beteende är ett viktigt område att belysa. Uppsatsen avser att studera vilka faktorer som kan tänkas ha ett samband med ålder vid sexual debut, kontrollerat för om första samlaget skedde innan äktenskapet eller efter.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida tesen att läroböcker i ämnet religion i olika hög grad bär på islamofobiska tendenser stämmer. Frågan som författaren söker att besvara är: hur tar sig islamofobiska tendenser uttryck i läroböcker i ämnet religion på gymnasienivå? Den metod som används är syftesrelaterad textanalys, viket innebär att syftet styr analysen. Den analysmodell som används möjliggör analyserandet av förekomsten av islamofobiska tendenser. Vidare används analysmodellen för kartläggandet av öppna och stängda attityder gentemot islam och muslimer i de undersökta läroböckerna.
