AbstractOur bachelor degree thesis was carried out in collaboration with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB in Smålandsstenar. We were asked to replace their wedge housing, used to fasten the wires to the power lines, with a similar structure in a plastic material. The idea for this project started with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB having problems with the casting quality that forced them to perform expensive tests on each of the wedge houses to ensure the quality. They are currently produced in China which is also a major drawback because it requires expensive long delivery times.The method we used is Fredy Olsson's Princip- and Primärkonstuktion (1995). We have consistently been in the project on so-called "broad front", which means that you create several sketches, ideas and changes in parallel, and then evaluates all.

Central in this paper is Olof Johansson, Swedish minister for the environment, there the focus lye on his resignation from this duty which occurred in 1994. This essay is a case study there I?m trying to identify which ethical reasons which lye behind his resignation. The relationship between politics and ethics is an interesting aspect to investigate and my ambition with this paper is to analyze that relationship in this specific case.The analysis has its focus built on the occurrence of role conflicts and the making of ethical decisions. Aspects like personal ethics versus organisational ethics, objective responsibility versus subjective responsibility etc.

Mälardalens Högskola har upprepade gånger fått kritik från studenter angående kursmaterialet i kursen flygmotorunderhåll, MFL013. Kursen i sig får ett högt betyg och är en kurs som många studenter uppskattar. Kursmaterialet har tidigare bestått av en pärm där endast stödord från lektionsundervisningen funnits. Det har heller inte funnits något digitalt material eller bildspel vilket studenterna kunnat ta del av.Med denna bakgrund utvecklades detta till ett examensarbete som består av författandet av ett nytt kompendium med illustrationer och löpande text samt ett bildspel.För att materialets kvalité ska kunna säkerställas har Ivar Östberg, inhyrd lärare på högskolan och ingenjör på Recotech AB, konsulterats. Hösten 2013 stormade det i Sverige ett flertal gånger. En av dem, stormen Ivar, fällde 4,3 miljoner skogskubikmeter privatägd skog med kärnområde i Medelpad och Jämtland. De senaste åren har varit stormtäta och en mängd erfarenheter finns från att hantera stormarnas konsekvenser. Dock saknas forskning om hur skogsägarna resonerar efter en storm och upp-lever de stormtjänster som erbjuds, vilket lade grunden för detta examensarbete. Syftet var därför att ta reda på och förklara hur skogsägarna upplevde stormen Ivar från stormtillfället till nästan ett år efter stormens framfart, vad som påverkar den upplevda tjänstekvaliteten och hur framtidens stormtjänst bör se ut.
