Syftet med denna studie är att analysera och diskutera genus inom Försvarsmakten. FN-resolution 1325 (2000) vilken är antagen av Sverige, handlar bland annat om kvinnors och flickors särskilda utsatthet vid väpnade konflikter. Resolutionen lyfter med anledning av denna utsatthet, som ett sätt att råda bot på kvinnors utsatthet vikten av att öka jämställdheten mellan män och kvinnor.  Ett sätt är att föra in jämställdhets­perspektiv i statliga myndigheter och resolutionen uppmanar medlemsländerna däribland Sverige att agera främjande inom en rad områden. Arbetet med jämställdhet är ett prioriterat område av den svenska regeringen och omfattar uppdrag och regleringar för hur myndigheterna ska uppnå de uppsatta jämställdhetsmålen. Vi kan argumentera för att Försvarsmakten är en drivande aktör när det handlar om att arbeta för lika rättigheter för män och kvinnor, samt i arbetet med att utveckla genusperspektiv på institutionell nivå. Denna uppsats problematiserar hur jämställdhet och genus fungerar i den vardagliga praktiken.Studien grundar sig på teorier som bygger på social konstruktionism och refererar bland andra till Burr (2004). Burr menar att genus är något som förändras över tid och konstrueras i samspel mellan människor där diskurser har en central roll.

A large part of the interactions between horse and rider during horseback riding takes place through the reins and the bit and devices for measuring the tension on the reins, rein tension meters, has fairly recently been developed. To safeguard the welfare of the ridden horse riders need to be aware of the rein tension they apply and actively work to decrease it. Furthermore, there is a need to develop the study of rein tension through new techniques and refined analysis procedures. A good-quality rein tension meter should be small in size, sensitive, durable and as accurate for light rein tension as for strong forces. Rein tension meters used in research on horse and rider interaction commonly depend on strain gauge technique for generating rein tension data.

People in today?s society are becoming more and more aware of how important it is to use energy as efficiently as possible. This is clearly noticeable by an increase in home produced heat with e.g. solar panels or heat pumps heating systems. These changing customer demands forces district heating technology to be redesigned, which is why there is an ongoing research regarding the next generation of district heating - low temperature district heating (LTDH).

14 juni 2007 beslutade regeringen att tillkalla en särskild utredare med uppdrag att utforma förslag till en svensk veteranpolitik, som skulle innefatta ansvaret för personalen före, under och efter internationella militära insatser. Utredningen, som tog namnet Veteransoldatutredningen, lämnade i oktober 2008 sitt slutbetänkande. Syftet med denna uppsats var att kritiskt granska utredningens förslag till förbättring i frågan om psykologisk ohälsa, stressprevention, inför insats och med utgångspunkt i litteraturen försöka förutsäga om förslaget skulle komma att ge effekt Metodvalen i denna uppsats har utgjorts av kvalitativ textanalys samt deskription. Tyngdpunkten i essän ligger i att definiera stressreaktioner samt åtgärder för stressprevention. Därefter följer analysen för att kunna se om det finns en förankring i aktuell forskning, och mot slutet granskas om förslagen kommer att ge effekt.I uppsatsen söktes svar på följande frågeställningar:-          Finns det en förankring i förslagen från Veteransoldatutredningen i aktuell forskning med inriktning på preventiva åtgärder?-          Är det rimligt att anta att med stöd av aktuell forskning att förslagen kan förebygga psykisk ohälsa efter internationell insats?De viktigaste slutsatserna som har dragits från denna studie är:Förslagen från veteransoldatutredningen finns till del förankrade i aktuell litteratur.

SARS [Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome] penetrated China in spring of 2003, created havoc in the social society, exposed weaknesses within the political system and pushed the nation towards a crisis of confidence. At the same time the crisis revitalised the Party's position, brought people from different social stratum together and had a beneficial impact on the populace's knowledge on health related issues.What makes the SARS crisis in China interesting for further and deeper investigation is the method it chose to respond to its national crisis. They plan of response was indeed a retrogression back to "older" times, using methods and propaganda very much like those used during Mao Zedong and later Deng Xiaoping. The first step of response was denial and cover up of the real situation, which quickly turned to unprecedented transparency, as the magnitude of SARS became known. The Party and the government were quick to proclaim themselves as the bearer of the key knowledge and information on how to best fight the disease, this in sharp contrast to the political trend of more co-operation between the private and public sector and political transparency.

This thesis purpose was to contribute to knowledge which could explain the driving forces behind Corporate Social Responsibility in corporate Sweden and their strategic impact from a management perspective. The method used to archive this research was a qualitative interpretative study conducted by interviews. The thesis is based on descriptive theories of drivers for CSR, concepts of strategy and CSR and normative/instrumental theories suggesting a strategic approach to CSR and stakeholder management. The empirical study is based on interviews with Swedish business managers in a strategic board position as well as consultants working with CSR strategies, supported with internet information from companies? webpage.

Dressage schooling is not a subject that rests on science, it is a matter of dependable experience. So far there hasn?t been so much research about it, but more and more is done. Especially the interaction between rider and horse is a nearly uninvestigated field. Riding skills is much about having the right position, and having the horses head and neck in different positions, but there are no research done that support or deny that this old ?knowledge? is for the best for the horse. This study was performed to evaluate if the head and neck position of the horse, and the velocity, has any influence on the position of the rider.

When applying an assemble-to-order production strategy with products at this level of cost price the product lead-time is vital and becomes an important part of the strategy within marketing and sales. Within SMW there is a new department called Supply Management (SM) that provides the supply of incoming and outgoing material. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the ongoing controversy surrounding the Internet, the phenomena of digitalization and file sharing will affect the music industry in the form of the ?big five? labels. Furthermore the thesis aims to present a recipe of strategies for the companies? survival by studying their situation through a theoretical perspective in conjunction with a comparative analysis with industries facing the digitalization challenge. The theoretical contribution lies in the strategic perspective at an industry level.

Officersyrket är föränderlig. Hur har de senaste årens förändringar i svenska försvarsmakten förändrat synen påofficersyrket? Hur påverkar ökad ålder i kombination med nivåhöjande utbildning synen på officersyrket? Vad ärkonstant och vilka är trenderna i denna syn? Går det även att i materialet finna förklaringar till den eventuellt förändradesynen? Genom svaren på dessa frågor ges även en indikation på hur stabila svaren från respektive delområde i tidigareforskning är i dag. Slutligen vill jag veta vilka tecken som i det empiriska materialet går att finna på att det svenskaförsvaret följer de övriga europeiska makternas militära utveckling? Efter problemformulering valdes informanter blandelever vid Försvarshögskolan och Militärhögskolorna för att delta i enkätundersökning.

I dagens informationssamhälle pågår en växande trend av molnbaserade tjänster. Vid implementering av molnbaserade tjänster används metoden Virtualisering. Denna metod minskar behovet av antal fysiska datorsystem i ett datacenter. Vilket har en positiv miljöpåverkan eftersom energikonsumtionen minskar när hårdvaruresurser kan utnyttjas till sin fulla kapacitet. Molnbaserade tjänster skapar samhällsnytta då nya aktörer utan teknisk bakgrundskunskap snabbt kan komma igång med verksamhetsberoende tjänster.

Piloter i försvarsmakten har en väldigt unik arbetsmiljö med särskilda påfrestningar från bland annat höga G-krafter och snabba tryckförändringar. I dagsläget utför svenska stridspiloter i princip samma slags fysiska tester som all Försvarsmaktspersonal. De årliga fysiska testerna för svenska stridspiloter är uppdelade i två olika tester; ett konditionstest och ett multitest i styrka. Validiteten för dessa tester kan dock ifrågasättas. De ger endast en grov bild över en persons allmänna fysiska status och har, enligt min åsikt, egentligen inte direkt någonting att göra med huruvida piloten skall kunna klara av att utföra sin tjänst.

The political landscape is constantly changing and influenced by outside forces. The strong connection to the traditional media has evolved to include a new important part, social media. A good way for the politics to utilize social media is through their youth associations, whose main purpose is to engage young people and spark their interest in politics. Due to the increasing influence of social media, the politicians, parties and various actors have to adapt to its demands, to be able to gain visibility on these platforms. One way to adapt is to become more entertainment driven, because these platforms are a safespace where people find time to relax and have a good time. With a growing emphasis on simplified, engaging and more fun political massages, political communication has changed its form. This phenomenon is referred to as ?politainment? and encapsulates the merging of politics and entertainment. The purpose of this study is to examine and measure the frequency of politainment in Swedish political youth associations political communications.
