The aim of this study is to examine ways of writing experiences of the strange and different, experiences of the other in his or her otherness and experiences of suffering. The study focuses possibilities and limits for the writing of these experiences and aims at finding a tangible way of writing literature. Part of the aim of this study is to elaborate a proposal for a way of writing experiences of the strange and different, experiences of the other in his or her otherness and experiences of suffering.    The material for the study consists of three different approaches to literature, in which theories on literature or analyses of literary works are presented. This material is initially analysed in separate analyses in which conceptions, strategies and methods for writing experiences of the strange and different, the other and suffering are identified. Secondly, the material is analysed in a comparative analysis, aimed at finding similarities and differences between the approaches but above all to let the approaches supplement and challenge each other.

AimThe aim with the work is to investigate if outdoor life at an early age will contribute to a maintained interest as a grown-up, and what other reasons play a part in maintained/lost interest. Questions:? Are the people active within outdoor life/physical activity today?? How much time do the people devote to outdoor life/physical activity?? What factors during the growth, from preschool to grown-up, contribute to a maintained or lost interest in outdoor life?MethodSince we wanted to bring forth all eventual factors that may have effected the people in their physical activity today we chose to do a qualitative study using deep interviews. The investigated group consists of six former students, four girls and two boys, from the I Ur och Skur preschool Mulleborg. Today the respondents are between 20 and 24 years old.ResultsThe investigation shows that all respondents are active with some kind of outdoor life or physical activity today, but there is a difference in how much.

I det här självständiga arbetet är mitt syfte att försöka förstå vad som driver hjälparbetare till att ge av sitt liv för att hjälpa andra människor. Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med en hermeneutisk ansats och semistrukturerade intervjuer.En gemensam nämnare för respondenterna är att de alla förhåller sig till hjälparbete med ett altruistisktperspektiv. Motiven för varför respondenterna gav en tämligen långperiod av sitt liv, sex till tolvmånader, för att hjälpa andra människor skiljer sig dock åt. Respondenterna har en gemensam bakgrund i sin kristna tro, vilket möjligtvis och speglar resultatet. Mercenaries, missionaries och misfits är tre förklaringsmodeller som R.L.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur barns bästa förstås och bedöms i förhållande till uppgifter om föräldrars våldsutövande och våldsutsatthet av domstolar i LVU-mål respektive vårdnadsmål. I uppsatsen söktes svar på frågeställningar gällande hur domstolen beskrev och kontextualiserade våldet, hur barns behov och vilja behandlades samt hur föräldrars omsorgsförmåga bedömdes. Uppsatsen hade en kvalitativ ansats och byggde på 8 LVU-domar och 10 vårdnadsdomar från åren 2010 till 2013.  Teoretiska perspektiv hämtades från den barndomssociologiska forskningen, där barndom och ?vuxenhet? betraktas som sociala kategoriseringar vilka skapas i relation till varandra. Resultaten visade att i de fall där det förekom uppgifter om att barnet utsatts för våld från en förälder förstod och bedömde domstolen detta som en brist i föräldraskapet, både i LVU-mål och vårdnadsmål.

Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att ge en övergripande bild av hur den svenska bioteknikbranschen ser ut i dagsläget, identifiera drivkrafter bakom den nya affärsmodellens framväxt samt kartlägga för- och nackdelar för ett bioteknikföretag att arbeta med den traditionella affärsmodellen samt med den nya affärsmodellen. Uppsatsen är upplagd som en jämförande, empirisk och kvalitativ fallstudie av fyra bioteknikföretag. Våra undersökningsfall används som empiriskt underlag för egna induktiva och deskriptiva slutsatser. Informationen har samlats in främst från publicerat material och intervjuer. Vi har valt att studera teorin kring den så kallade värdekedjan för att kunna förstå grunderna i hur ett bioteknikbolag arbetar med läkemedelsutveckling.

Syftet var att belysa kvinnliga sjuksköterskestuderandes kännedom om och inställning till HPV vaccination, samt att ta reda på hur de resonerade kring sitt eget val rörande HPV-vaccination. Metod: Kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer där åtta sjuksköterskestudenter deltog. Resultat: Studenterna hade en god kännedom gällande HPV-vaccination. Samtliga studenter var positivt inställda till HPV-vaccin. Däremot framkom en viss misstänksamhet mot HPV-vaccin då de uppfattade det som nytt och obeprövat.

This essay will examine the historical picture of the island Rapa Nui as it is portrayed in popular science and in ecohistorical literature of the university of Gothenburg. This historical picture states that the inhabitants of the island cut down a lot of trees in the process of transporting the big and heavy statues, moai, from the quarry to the platforms along the coastline of the island. During this process all trees disappeared and resulted in soil erosion. The cultivation was destroyed and brought hunger to Rapa Nui. The following rivalry for food led to a situation of war followed by a cultural collapse.

Syfte: Syftet med denna tvärsnittsstudie var att undersöka hur prostatacancer patienter och deras partner skattar sina eventuella nivåer av ångest och depression samt att undersöka om skattningen mellan dessa två grupper skiljer sig åt. Syftet är även att kvalitetssäkra frågeformuläret Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) enligt ?Question-and-Answer?-modellen.Metod: Kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie med deskriptiv- och jämförande metod användes. Studien innefattade sex patienter samt sex partners, sammanlagt 12 personer. Datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av enkäter.Resultat: Både patienterna och deras partners skattar relativt låga nivåer av ångest och depression.

Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur sjuksköterskor upplevde omvårdanden av patienter med psykos inom psykiatrisk öppen- samt slutenvård. Bakgrund: Allmänheten har än idag en negativ och felaktig bild av psykisk sjukdom samt psykiatrisk vård. Att vårda personer med psykos skiljer sig från arbetet med somatiska sjukdomar. Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes vilken baserades vetenskapliga artiklar som sökts i databaserna Cinahl och PsykInfo. Resultat: Omvårdnaden av patienter med psykos upplevdes som oförutsägbart vilket krävde ständig beredskap och mycket tålamod.

AimThe aim of this study was to examine the views on bullying in the context of physical education among pupils studying at intermediate level through a gender perspective.The following questions where used in the examination.In what ways does the views on bullying differ between girls and boys?How is bullying manifested during classes in physical education?How do girls and boys experience cross-gender and same-gender bullying?MethodThe study is based upon a survey with questions of both quantitative and qualitative disposition. A total of 210 pupils from areas in and around Stockholm participated in the study, all studying at intermediate level. The participants consisted of 92 girls and 116 boys (two declined). The selection of participating schools where made out of convenience.

The aim of this study is to investigate how the female author, Charlotte Brontë, describes the development of her female protagonist in Jane Eyre and to compare this to how the male author, Fyodor Dostoevsky, describes the development of his male protagonist in Crime and Punishment, inside the patriarchal 19th century.My basic idea is that both characters in these two books have to reach their own unknown to find satisfaction and a new existence, and I want to investigate what the characters have to go through to find that existence. To help me in my exploration of Jane Eyre I make use of Gilbert and Gubars? book The Madwoman in the Attic and in the case of Crime and Punishment, I make use of Pelikan Straus? article ??Why did I say ?Women!??? Raskolnikov Reimagined?. Both authors discuss literature from a gender perspective, but without comparing female and male characters or authors with each other, which I believe is important for a more holistic understanding of gender issue.The conclusion of this essay is that these books are describing the main characters? evolution towards their personal unknown with the same tools, a double self, an important symbol, and in the end a love partner that embodies that unknown.

Information technology and globalization has led to an increasing competition and service production has been more and more independent of locations. This has made a market of outsourced telephone costumer service possible. Due to high establishment the market has been saturated and with that price has sunk. Customer companies have the last few years got more negative to outsourcing of their telephone customer service as they through operating the customer service internally want to get closer to their customers.In the empirical study the writers try to figure out which companies the callcenters should try to aim towards to get long and profitable cooperation. This will be done through deducing guiding principles from theories about how different factors around companies costumer service should look like.

En av de drivande personerna till idén var Jan Holmquist som vid tidpunkten var Kultur- och fritidschef för kommunen. Monumentet skulle göras av "den bäste" varpå Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd fick förfrågan.Skulpturen gestaltar Nässjö stad med hjälp av ett minne, historien om stadens uppbyggnad med järnvägen som en central del. Tåg som rörde sig framåt med hjälp av hårt arbete och kol inspirerade konstnären. Skisserna till verket spelar stor roll för att kunna förstå konstnärens intention med Kolskyffeln.

This paper concerns the freedom of speech in our democracy and the principles underlying the restrictions. The study is aimed at using a descriptive theory to provide a useful basis for analyzing a justification of the role behind freedom of speech and its limitations. The analysis is made on the basis of the Swedish parliament debate in the form of motions and the non-governmental organization Swedish Helsinki Committee's report. The study has a focus on the law of hate speech and will be done with an idea centred analysis. On the basis of democratic theory, the central role of freedom of speech was clarified on the basis of a clear need for a reliable communication.
