The intention with the study is to describe the home and life conditions for boys at the age range between 13 to 18 year, who has been under custody according to the § 2 LVU.The empiric is 21 real court cases, judged in Stockholm and to Stockholm counted surround-ings 2006, in which the range of the boys were representative.A text analyze method is used to execute the study. The study penetrates the life situation of the caregiver and how their situation affects the boy and the boys actions.The total conclusion of the study, based on an ecological evolution perspective, is that life-situation of the caregiver affects the boys and the boys actions.The boys are affected negatively by the situation of their caregivers, and according to the study, the boys have established own problems, like difficulties in school, criminality, or other psychological diagnoses. They are also often exposed to physical or psychological violence by the caregiver. Additionally the conclusion is that the caregiver neglect the boys in many other ways, prior themselves and their needs before the boys..

It is estimated that approximately 10 000 people are living in Sweden after having been rejected residence permit or asylum, meaning that they have to hide from the authorities while facing a risk of being deported by means of violence as they do not wish to leave voluntarily.For their existence, a vast number of people employed by the public administration can be expected to contribute to the wellbeing of the hidden people through their professions as bureaucrats.The bureaucrats can thereby be expected to be torn between different sets of value systems, roles and obligations towards the state and towards the hidden people.In this master thesis, I examine how five bureaucrats motivate their acting for the sake of the hidden people in terms of legitimacy, legality and morality in their administration, towards their ethic responsibilities and towards society as a whole.The results show that the bureaucrats see themselves as saviours of ethical values in an illegitimate administration where economic efficacy and arbitrary decision-making constantly transgresses The Human Rights, ratified by the Swedish Parliament..

AbstractUppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur de organiserade musikaktiviteterna på fyra förskoleavdelningar är uppbyggda samt vilket syfte dessa har. Data samlades in genom observationer på fyra förskoleavdelningar som följdes upp med en intervju med den aktiva förskolläraren. De två frågor som ligger till grund för vårt arbete är:Vilket innehåll har de organiserade musikaliska aktiviteterna i förskolan?Vilken uppfattning har förskollärare om betydelsen av organiserade musikaliska aktiviteter för barn i förskolan?Huvudresultatet i vårt examensarbete visar att förskollärarna använder sig av olika verktyg för att fånga barnen i de musikaliska aktiviteterna. Pedagogerna har olika syn på samlingarna vilket gör att innehållet i de musikaliska aktiviteterna varierar och kan bidra till god språkutveckling för barnen..

The aim of this study was to understand how social workers deal with honour-related violence, with special focus on the processing from sheltered housing. Our qualitative interviews with social workers that work with this kind of problems show that there are both obstacles and opportunities in the processing from sheltered housing. On the negative side are the loneliness, the shame and the guilt that the girls may experience when they need to leave their families. The social services can both be an obstacles and an opportunity. When the girls need to create a new life in a new city they have a lot of opportunities and in the same time it is hard to get to know new friends when you don´t know the city or have much money.

The purpose of this study was to explore the state of female prostitution in the city of Tehran, and besides, analyze the elements that can lead women to harlotry in Iran. This research is based on three sources of information: firstly, interviews with three harlots in Tehran and I got help of a semi-structured interview guide. Secondly, I discussed prostitution with conscious resources that worked within the public services in Tehran and had experienced of working with female prostitutes. Thirdly I analyzed texts and reports about prostitution in Iran. The data from interviews are tied to two theories: symbolic interactionism and feminism.

The purpose of this paper is to study the subject Islam and Democracy and see whatcommonalities exist between the two ideas and traditions of thoughts. The subject is topicaland often highlighted by the media in the West. The Islamic voices that we hear today iscertainly not democratic, given the violence and hatred carried out by Islamic extremistsagainst the West. The investigation of this paper have shown a different direction when thereare other voices such as those investigated reformist thinkers who argue that Islam has manydemocratic elements, and even that Islam is more suitable than democracy. This thesis highlights the complex relationship between social movements and the mass media. The new social movements really have to struggle to get access to the media sphere, often enforced to use spectacular media strategies, and at the same time maintain their political messages. This struggle gives us reason to question the liberal notion of the media as a neutral arena for political communication and debate. In fact we argue that the media industry should be seen as a powerful actor and that the mass media serves to maintain and enforce an ideology that serves the political and economic elites in the liberal capitalist democracy. Young men who commit sexual abuse is a complex topic. This study is based on litterature on the subject and the material is processed through a qualitative content analysis. The study aims to study how the litterature describes the reasons why young men commit sexual abuse. It also aims to explore what is described to be effective treatment of young men who committed sexual abuse. The study found that most of the young men who commit sexual abuse comes from families where violence and psycohological abuse occurs. Many have themselves been victims of sexual abuse.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur olika samhällsinstansers syn på våld i samkönade parrelationer och vad de gör för att arbeta kring denna problematik. Ämnet studerades med en kvalitativ ansats. Urvalet av den teoretiska populationen utfördes genom strategiskt urval. Den insamlingsmetod som användes för data var delfimetoden. Vid analysen användes tidigare forskning samt queerteorin som teoretisk utgångspunkt.

Denna kandidatuppsats behandlar ämnet ledarskap och beskriver hur ledarskapet hos en projektledare i Föreningen X har sett ut. Fokus ligger på projektledaren som den formella ledaren i projektgruppen och hur personen har hanterat sin projektledarroll. Studien ser närmare på projektledarens ledarroll utifrån ett styrande, stödjande och delegerande perspektiv samt de krav som sätts på projektledarollen. Utöver detta behandlas och presenteras den teori som rör krav på ledarskap, situationsanpassat ledarskap, tidsbegränsat ledarskap samt synen på svenskt ledarskap. Vidare presenteras den normativa modellen Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation (FIRO) som förklarar ledarskapet inom olika grupputvecklingsfaser.

Background: Most acts of violence in a psychiatric ward are directed towards the nursing staff. Aggressive behaviour often stems from feelings of frustration and powerlessness in patients while committed and therefore having limited liberties. To avoid an escalation of a hostile situation, it is important that the nursing staff applies the kind of encounter that will yield a positive outcome. Aim: The aim of this literary study is to elucidate the possible encounter the nursing staff can apply when encountering a hostile patient in psychiatric care. Method: The literary study is based on twelve scientific articles.

Empati är ett brett begrepp som är svårdefinierat, det är även svårt att veta vad som påverkar empatin. Diskussioner om hur våldsamma tv- och datorspel påverkar empatin negativt ökar. Denna studie undersöker sambandet mellan tv- och datorspel och empati där empati definieras som ett karaktärsdrag och en reaktion. Totalt deltog 485, varav 411 var kvinnor, 62 män och 12 som inte ville uppge kön/icke-binära. Davis IRI-skala användes för att mäta empati och enkäten skickades ut som webbenkät och i pappersform.

Föreställningar kring maskulinitet och våld är i dagens samhälle nära sammankopplade och har så varit även historiskt. Denna studie har som mål att undersöka hur dessa sammankopplingar påverkar män som tränar och tävlar MMA och hur det påverkar deras maskulinitetskonstruktioner. Genom att undersöka dessa mäns inställning till våld, maskulinitet och intimitet inom MMA, syftar studien till att tydliggöra den diskurs som vuxit fram på en kampsortsklubb i Sverige. Slutsatsen av denna undersökning är att en tillsynes motsägelsefull bild kring våld och intimitet konstruerats inom denna diskurs. Inom MMA-diskursen finns utrymme för fysisk intimitet på ett sätt som sällan accepteras mellan män i samhället utanför.

The aim of this study was to examine self-harming women?s own experiences. To try and raise understanding and awareness about how they themselves create their identity and meaning round the self-harming behaviour. Our three questions were; how do the young women conceive society?s reactions on their self-harming behaviour? Do the young women express an imposed or self-elected alienation? If so, in what way? In what way do the young self-harming women construe their own identity in relation to the self-harming behaviour?We have used a narrative approach when we have examined the blogs as life stories in the sense that all our lives and everything in them is a story by definition.
