The Swedish Public Relation industry has gone through a rapid growth in the recent decade. A peculiar, although perhaps not unexpected, development is that former politicians and politically employed individuals to a larger extent have been the subject of recruitment effort from the industry. Simultaneously there has been a public debate concerning the influence on Public Relations and Lobbying over the political agenda. The purpose of this thesis is to widen and deepen the discussion concerning Public Relations consultants. It centers on the individual consultants and takes their competence as the point of departure.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine in what way the introducing of library plans in three municipalities have affected the work in library organizations. We base our study on a new institutionalist perspective, which focuses on changes in organizations from a social and interpretative perspective. By using this theoretical framework, it is possible to study how Interpersonal relations affect the development in library organizations. Through qualitative interviews with ten librarians, we investigate how the establishing of library plans has influenced, and been influenced by, the library field and by the environment, i.e.

In our report we have studied the subject?s social competence, relations, relationship marketing and personal networks and looked to the connection these subjects have to one another.

Huvudsyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka effekterna av aggressionsersättningsträning (ART) program på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Huvudfrågeställningen som belyses i studien är: förändras deltagarna i ART-program med avseende på empati och attityder till kriminalitet? För att besvara dessa frågor har vi utfört för- och eftertester på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Instrumenten som användes i testerna är Davis Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) och Mill's Measures of Criminal Attitudes and Associates (MCAA).Slutsatserna som kan dras utifrån denna studie är att den emotionella empati-komponenten "personal distress" visar en minskning som kan förklaras av interaktionen med ART.The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Aggression Replacement Training (ART) program in some of the prisons and probation authorities of the Swedish correctional system. The specific questions we are trying to answer are: (1) does ART-program change the clients' empathic concern and (2) does ART-program help in changing participants' attitudes towards criminality? Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att genomföra en deskriptiv studie och skapa djupare förståelse för hur svenska, nyligen börsnoterade medicinteknikföretag arbetar med Investor relations och hur detta arbete återspeglas i en effektiv aktiemarknad. Samt att undersöka hur de utvärderar effekterna av sin IR-verksamhet.Metod: Genom en kvalitativ studie söker denna uppsats svar i intervjuer med börsnoterade medicintekniska företag, samt i teorier som behandlat möjligheten för rationella investeringar och utformningen av en effektiv marknad.Resultat: Den kapitalkrävande bransch som medicinsk teknik utgör har troligen påverkan på hur kommunikationen och informationsspridningen är utformad då alla respondenterna använder Investor Relations på liknande sätt. Företagen själva anser att det företag som lyckas övertyga investerare om att deras produkter har störst samhällsnytta även kommer att vinna kampen om kapitalet. Trots hård konkurrens om kapital och förståelsen över vikten av Investor Relations görs inga omfattande utvärderingar av arbetet. Anledningen är främst att det tar för mycket tid och att tillvägagångssätten är diffusa.

This thesis examines the power of developing countries within the World Trade Organization (WTO). The research question is if there is a change in the power relations between developing countries and developed countries from the establishment of the WTO in 1995 and until mid 2006, and if so, why this change is taking place? The thesis has its theoretical starting-point within regime theory and views it from a critical theoretical perspective. A multidimensional why of dealing with the concept of power is being used to answer if there is a change in the power relations? The conclusion is that there is a small change in the power relations and that the developing countries are gaining more, but limited power.

This thesis aims to analyse relations between the risk of Francisella in endemic areas and environmental variables. The thesis also discusses relations between occurrences of Tularemia and meteorological factors. The analysis resulted in several significant models that explained the occurrence of Francisella. These models can however only be applied to the year 2004 since there were too few test performed the other years, therefore no comparisons could be made. Another conclusion was that the relative humidity was significally higher in the year 2003, the same year as the occurrences of Tularemia was at its peak. .

Turkey has often been described as a cultural and geographical bridge between West and East. When the Islamic AKP came to power in Turkey 2002 many critics feared that the country was going to abandon its former Western allies and strengthen their relations with the Arab world instead. The criticism was intensified when the AKP increased Turkey?s bilateral relations with the Middle East and moved closer to former foe?s like Iran and Syria, at the same time as their long-time friendship with Israel experienced serious crisis. The aim and purpose of this thesis is to describe and explain the change in AKP?s foreign policy towards Israel.The research method is a combination of a qualitative text analysis of Turkey?s speeches in the UN General debate and Jakob Gustavsson?s model for explaining foreign policy change.The results show that the Turkish-Israeli relations have deteriorated after the Israeli attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in 2010, particularly regarding diplomatic relations and military agreements.
