The aim of this study is to investigate a specific form of Special Interest Tourism (SIT), namely health- and fitnesstravels. This kind of travelling is studied from a Swedish perspective and includes aspects like gender and age in active tourism. It also includes which travel motivations that lies beyond the choice of an active vacation.The study is based on a survey that was sent in an e-mail to the health tourism company InShapeTravel´s customers. The answers to the survey has been analyzed and related to earlier research about active tourism.The result shows that more women than men participate in the kind of healthy travels that InShapeTravel offers. A majority of the respondents are between 41-60 years old and the most common travel motivation was ?Better physic/psychic wellbeing?. .

The traditional lawn is believed to be facing a dilemma. On one hand, it is valuable for people because of its esthetical and functional values. On the other hand, the lawn is perceived as a monoculture without biological diversity that hinders the domestic landscape?s flora and fauna. In this graduation-thesis, the private and public lawn?s dilemma of ?to be or not to be?, is examined from these two different perspectives.

Vocal technique and interpretation are the key elements of voice training. Thepurpose of this article is to investigate what vocal technique and interpretation meanto teachers and students and how they would describe the relationship between thetwo. The questions at issue, intended to be answered in this article, are the following:What is the relationship between vocal technique and interpretation? How should theteaching be structured for the students to experience progress on the musical plane?What role does the teacher have in the musical development of the student?This is a qualitative survey and the methods of investigation are semi-structuredinterviews and classroom observations. Presented in the article are a number ofresearchers and writers whose thoughts on the subjects have gained great importanceto vocal teachers and students, as well as leading the research on the voice and itsfunctions forward to higher grounds.

This thesis is ordered by Peab Sweden AB Regional Jönköping and concerns of warranty inspections.The intention is to work out a basis, which show the most common complaints is the warranty inspections, and make a small analysis on what causes them to be. The report also presents possible solutions to prevent the occurrence of defects. It also covers the issue of how the client looks at Peabs way to overcome the objections of warranty inspections. The report has the following issues:?What are the most common errors observed during the warranty inspection??What are the causes of complaints??What can be done to reduce the number of complaints??How the customer thinks that the complaints be addressed?Twenty-five Guarantee survey records from the projects Peab has done in recent years has been the starting point for the investigation.

Vår uppgift har varit att utveckla och förbättra Svalsons produktsortiment av eldrivna skjutluckor. Vi som har arbetat med att utveckla produkten är tre studenter från Luleå tekniska universitet, Institutionen i Skellefteå. Under arbetets gång har vi gjort det möjligt att reglera skjutluckornas hastighet, vilket inte är praktiskt möjligt på de produkter företaget har ute på marknaden i dag. Utöver det har vi utvecklat en fjärrkontroll, som kommer att ge personalen större flexibilitet då de idag bara kan använda sig av en kontroll som vanligtvis är placerad precis intill luckan. Slutligen har vi utvecklat en möjlighet att kontrollera och justera skjutluckorna via Internet.

Swedish students' knowledge of mathematics has deteriorated in recent years. Teaching of mathematics is therefore starting point in an ongoing discussion among researchers, school leaders, politicians, teachers and others, who all thinks they know best about how teaching should be designed to the greatest extent possible to raise students' proficiency levels in the subject. Teachers' practices have long been the focus of discussions and views on these differ. The purpose of this paper is therefore to study students 'conceptions of mathematics and mathematics teaching, with teachers' methods and tools of focus, in relation to previous research on the subject. The method used was a survey of students in secondary school and a textual analysis of previous studies on the subject.As revealed by the survey was that the textbook has a big advantage in mathematics education in Sweden today.Many students are not accustomed to working in a different way and thereforedoes not know either what the alternative approach entails.

Introduction: The interaction between different care facilities and professions is important in the care of older patients. Patients do not always get enough time to recover and often have a continued need for care. A discharge process of good structure in which the patient and relatives are participating and the continued need of care is assured is of importance in care of older patients.Objective: The overall purpose of this study is to compare the discharge process for patients over 75 years old admitted to a emergency medicine ward respective a emergency medicine ward with geriatric focus at a medicine clinic, to compare discharge process between these wards and evaluate the patients situation at home after discharge.Methods: A survey of medical records with a protocol and a telephone survey have been performed. Data was analyzed with descriptive and analytic statistic. Patients at the medical wards MAVA and care unit number 21/34, which are 75 years or older and are discharged to their own home, within the municipality of Göteborgs stad, in Sweden, are included in this study.Results: The discharge process differed between medicine wards with emergency medicine and geriatric focus.

This study aims to find out what relationship high school students have to social networks at the Internet. This has been done by focusing on norms/standards that adolescents can feel under stress to achieve, through stressing themselves by social networks in a way that is consistent with the norms. The empirical data has been gathered by questionnaires which have been answered by adolescents in randomly selected schools and classes in a medium size Swedish town, Karlskrona. The result showed that all of the participating adolescents have user accounts on a social network. Furthermore it also emerged that a lot of the adolescents thought that norms existed that should be followed in a social network about how to stress oneself.

This study was carried out as a commission from Holmen Skog, district ?Egen skog? in Norrköping. During October 2006 several stands were inventoried by aerial photos from helicopter. The stands were those for which the next action proposed was plant inventory or plant check. The photos were interpreted and the number of stems was calculated.

Internet har genomgått en explosionsartad utveckling. Från att ha varit ett nät för universitetsvärlden och den amerikanska regeringen, har användningen utvecklats mot allt mer olika tillämpningar. Ett av de stora användningsområdena för Internet är handel av varor och tjänster. Otillräcklig säkerhet är en faktor som håller tillbaka elektronisk handel över Internet. Tveksamhet, från företagens kunder, finns hela tiden om det är säkert att skicka sitt kontokortsnummer över Internet för att betala för en vara eller tjänst.

Reklam på internet är ständigt ökande och många internetanvändare är negativt inställda till den. Därför har de utvecklat olika medvetna och omedvetna strategier för att undvika den när de ska göra något på internet. För skapare av reklam på Internet kan det vara bra att känna till hur reklamen undviks för att kunna bli bättre på att skapa effektiv reklam. Denna undersökning har baserats på intervjuer med vana internetanvändare med olika bakgrund för att få reda på hur de hanterar reklambanners samt en förståelse för hur de tänker. Intervjuerna föregicks av en videoinspelning där försöksdeltagarna fick specifika uppgifter att utföra för att eftersträva ett naturligt beteende.Resultatet av undersökningen visade att banner blindness är ett fenomen som används av många försöksdeltagare, både på ett medvetet och omedvetet plan.

Under en kurs om människans fysiologi letade jag användbara hemsidor på Internet. Jag slogs då av att det fanns många bra hemsidor på engelska, men knappt några på svenska. Jag bestämde mig då för att göra en svensk sida som är användbar för skolbruk. Då datorer och Internet mest används för faktasökande i samband med eget arbete ville jag bygga upp något annorlunda. Meningen med detta arbete är att försöka bygga upp ett interaktivt läromedel med program som går att hitta gratis på Internet, samt att undersöka vilka problem som kan uppstå vid framställningen.

Problem: Majoriteten av producenterna till musikverk och flertalet av de aktörerna som aktivt är med i debatten om piratkopiering anser att piratkopiering av musik är skadlig samt ett problem för musikindustrin. Kommer deras olika metoder att vara en lösning på problemet eller kommer man åtminstone kunna begränsa denna olagliga aktion? För att mestadels alla ska vara nöjda, finns det möjligtvis en lösning som kan gynna både de som är för piratkopiering och de som är emot piratkopiering? Syfte: Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa problemet med piratkopiering av upphovsrättsskyddat material på Internet. Vi vill även granska konsumenters och aktörers åsikter angående detta och analysera om det finns någon laglig lösning där båda parter kan känna sig gynnade. Metod: Vi har studerat litteratur och utfört intervjuer som sedan har granskats och analyserats.

Aim: The aim of our study is to analyze and evaluate from a marketing perspective how estate agents can use facebook to strengthen their brand. Method: We have used an inductive study form where we?ve used a quality and a quantity data gathering method. The data has been gathered from an interview with Botkyrkabyggens marketing coordinator and from an Internet Survey based on a convience selection and a snow ball selection.Theory: SWOT, Brand Equity, Word of Mouth, Customer Relationship ManagementConclusion: Facebook can create and measure "word of mouth" effects, and also create better information management and flow of information compared to traditional marketing for an estate agent. The risks of facebook is the difficulty in educating the staff about the site and the fact that facebook dominates the policies and rules which suddenly can change.

Elektronisk handel har frambringat många nya och olika synsätt att kommunicera på och detta har lett till att en helt ny elektronisk marknad har skapats. När ett virtuellt företag skapas eller ett företag väljer att komplettera sin befintliga verksamhet med elektronisk handel så krävs det en noggrann planering och det finns många faktorer som företag måste beakta och utföra korrekt för att projektet inte skall misslyckas. Handeln på Internet ökar för varje år men det finns fortfarande problem som bl.a. förtroende från konsumenter.Därför har vi valt att se närmare på hur ett E-handelsföretag kan bli framgångsrikt på Internet och öka sitt kundvärde. För att kunna nå fram till detta har vi samlat in det empiriska materialet genom intervjuer och analyserat detta utifrån den teoretiska referensramen.
