Problem: In society of today corporate competence is an important factor for survivor and development. IT is developing rapidly and can not be ignored by companies. Then need for people with IT-competence is conquent increasing. A survey of corporate IT-competence is therefore of interest for companies as well as for local authorities. To determine the IT competence within an organisation, this competence has to be measurable.

Resebyråbranschen har kommit att förändras på grund av utvecklingen av Internet. Idag finns resebyråer tillgängliga både som fysisk resebyrå och på Internet. Genom Internets utveckling har möjligheterna för konsumenter ökat vid bokning av resa. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur den fysiska resebyråns framtid kommer påverkas av att resebyråer på Internet får allt större plats. Syftet är också att undersöka konsumenters syn på resebyråns framtid.

This thesis has been done in collaboration with Peab Stockholm Building 3, which is a region within the Peab Sverige AB. The report is based on a survey and studies of Peab business management systems and production literature. For general information gathering has literature from well-known sources collected in libraries and through the Internet. It shows through the work that Peab has routines for experience feedback in the construction process, but that these procedures work in a small scale and the practical work experience feedback does not work at all. This is also something the construction industry in general also perceived as problematic. The questions in the report are of a wide scale and concerns construction errors cost, how the employees perceive that the company takes advantage of the skills and the mental stress in production line. The goal is to find how Peab Stockholm Building 3 will work on the experience feedback to allow for better productivity. In conclusion, the report author tries to demonstrate what can lead to increased productivity and improved work experience..

The aim of this study is to examine present forms of interaction between Child Welfare Clinics (Barnavårdscentraler, BVC), and libraries. The study departs from the user?s perspective, i.e. how the parents evaluate the information they are given about the library and its resources to provide information they want in their present and new situation. In two local communities the survey looks into how parents of babies are informed about the library in meetings arranged as part of the information and support program provided by BVC.

Arbetet fokuserar på frågan om reklam lagras i minnet under en van internetanvändares aktivitet på en webbportal, när denne inte uttryckligen söker efter reklam. Rapporten redovisar olika aspekter som kan inverka på användarnas beteende vid deras interaktion med Internet. Med hjälp av ett förtest i enkätform väljs 30 vana internetanvändare ut som försökspersoner. Dessa delas upp i två lika stora grupper och utför sedan en uppgift på en webbportal. Slutligen genomför de ett test som undersöker om de kommer ihåg de fyra reklamannonser som finns på webbportalen.

Background: During the last decade climbing has become more popular and the numbers of climbers in Sweden have increased considerably. Most common are overuse injuries caused by the great stress and strain climbing creates on different parts of the body. Previous studies show that 75-90% of climbing injuries are localised in the upper extremity. Injuries affecting the lower extremity occur often acute and traumatic. Based on these facts and that the number of climbers constantly grows, it is more likely that the need of care from physiotherapist among climbers will increase.

Suicidology deals a lot with taking into consideration significant symptoms, risk factors and establishing causal relationships which inevitably are very important for suicide prevention. But do we understand the suicide attempters better thereby? The aim with the study is to elucidate the meaning of the lived suicidal experience that is expressed by participants on an Internet forum. Ten participants' texts which concerned own suicidality were chosen out from this Internet forum and were analyzed and interpreted on the basis of a phenomenological hermeneutical method inspired by Ricoeur (1976). The result established twelve themes that with the aid of Heidegger (1993) and Derrida (1978, 1991) led to that the following conclusions could be drawn about the meaning of the suicidal lifeworld: suicidal concern and care in itself reduces the sense of identity, practical suicidal doing in itself reduces the world, sense of identity is more affected by the future than the present and the past, the death is escaped from through a calculating determination to have the death at one's disposal, inability to turn away from the death increases oscillating between states of emotions, the surrounding world's requirement to avoiding death becomes to a compulsion to isolate one self; and finally: to both feel anxiety in front of one self's own death and dread when escaping from it..

Great economical interests and values made it necessary to create rules concerning how the exploitation would take place. Several important conventions were created during this century. For example, the Parisconvention (1883) and the Bernconvention (1886).

This essay focuses on tourists' information seeking. The main focus was to examine whether there is a connection between how the informants in different tourist styles the different tourist styles are presented by Eva Wolf as the tourist of recreation, action, culture, compromise, and individualism seek information to their forthcoming vacation. The result was reached through a qualitative method, where ten informants with various tourist roles were interviewed separately. The informants were chosen by personal contacts. In addition to these interviews, three representatives from the tourist industry were contacted and interviewed by e-mail.

Vårt syfte med denna uppsats var att undersöka vilka faktorer, ur teorin om varumärkesnamn, som företag beaktar respektive försummar i valet av varumärkesnamn på Internet.Vi har använt oss av en kvantitativ undersökning av 50 svenska företag med huvudsaklig verksamhet på Internet. Undersökningen visar vilka faktorer som dessa fallföretag beaktat vid sitt domännamnsval. Våra slutsatser visade på att det finns en tendens att Internetföretagens beslutunderlag är bristfällig vid val av domännamn. Istället grundar företagen nästan helt uteslutande sitt domännamnsval på eget kreativt tänkande. De högst rankade faktorerna hos våra fallföretag var att domännamnet skulle vara lätt att komma ihåg samt att det skulle vara unikt i konkurrensen.

Ungdomar är idag frekventa användare av internet. I och med den höga användningen av internet bland ungdomar blir det av intresse för socialt arbete att få en förståelse för föräldrars föreställning om ungdomar och internet i relation till risker och riskhantering. Tidigare forskning rörande ungdomar, internet och risker visar att föräldrar ser risker så som att deras ungdomar möter obehagliga nätkontakter, pornografi samt risker gällande tidslängden spenderad online. Tidigare forskning som studerat riskhantering föräldrar använder gällande ungdomar och internet visar på att föräldrar använder olika typer av strategier. Dessa är exempelvis samtal om användande, att använda tillsammans och vara närvarande under användandet, regler i hur mycket tid online ungdomen får spendera, regler i vad ungdomen får göra online, övervakat användande via säkerhetsfilter samt kontroll av internetaktivitet efter användning.De frågeställningar studien ämnar besvara är Vilka risker ser föräldrarna gällande ungdomar och internet? samt Hur resonerar föräldrarna om riskhantering gällande ungdomar, internet och risker? Detta görs via åtta intervjuer med tio föräldrar till ungdomar mellan tolv och sexton år.

In this paper we have chosen to work with both the background to the Library Act § 7a and followed the process of creating the library plan of Helsingborg City Library. We have tried to follow the process through the public text documents that are available. We start by giving a background to the library act and its additional § 7a. Then we give a recap of the emergence of the modern public libraries in Sweden during the last century until today. When the working group at the City Library in Helsingborg was working with the library plan, they had to take in count the strategic goals set up by Region Skåne, since Helsingborg is place in that area.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how companies offering tailor made products on the internet, can work with their marketing and their customer relationships. The study will answer the purpose from a service management perspective and there will also be presented theories from an Electronic Commerce perspective.The starting point for this study was the qualitative method. The essay builds its empirical material from interviews with knowledgeable persons in the subject and the owner of the company whose products are tailor made and sold on the internet. It was conducted seven interviews, four of which were face-to-face, two conducted by mail and finally there was made a telephone interview.Conclusions have been drawn based on the empirical material and theory. The study has been able to identify three concepts that are central to this type of product: Site-building, customer involvement and promotion & relationship management..

Denna studies syfte är att försöka förstå och diskutera den digitala mobbningen utifrån det mediasamhälle vi befinner oss i. Frågeställningarna som är grunden för studien är: Hur kan vi förstå digital mobbning? Hur kan denna förståelse leda vidare till metoder för att angripa problemet? Hur upplever pedagoger respektive elever den digitala mobbningen? Vad säger lagen om mobbning? Vad kan vara viktigt att tänka på i samband med Internet? Studien bygger på kvalitativa och kvantitativa undersökningar gjorda på två olika skolor. Den kvantitativa undersökningen bestod av enkäter som delades ut i tre klasser i år sex. Den kvalitativa undersökningen bygger på intervjuer med två pedagoger knutna till dessa klasser.

This paper explores a model for self-assessment of purchasing maturity in large companies. The author adapts contemporary purchasing theory and further enhances existing tools and procedures to create a survey based instrument for maturity measurementThe paper also explores potential methodological challenges associated with conducting a more extensive study of purchasing maturity via the proposed model. A preliminary study is made and the learnings discussed.The preliminary findings of the survey indicate that the purchasing maturity varies with industry.
