En operationsavdelning är för de flesta en främmande miljö som upplevs skrämmande. De som ska genomgå en operation känner olika grader av ängslan, oro och rädsla. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av vårdmiljön i samband med operation. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar från åren 1984?2001 som motsvarade syftet analyse- rades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The world is increasingly coalescing, ecologically, economically and culturally. Many problems can no longer be solved within the own state borders and the limitation of the territorial state is obvious. Jürgen Habermas means that a world domestic politic without a world government is what this progress need. Therefore it is important that national interests become less central and the solidarity between people is given priority in international relations. The focus of this thesis is therefore a critical discourse analysis of the current position of the internationalisation of Swedish security and defence policy.

Thetraditions used are: liberalism, realism and neoconservatism. The sources of the study mostlyinclude literature and policy-documents.

What impact and effects are created by the placement of an international ranking? Could it be that a top rank is detrimental to an entire country's efforts to fight corruption?This bachelor thesis in political science is about Swedish corruption. In essence, so questioning the Transparency International's indexed rankings that placed Sweden in third place. Issues concern since if the third placement has created nonchalance and a careless mentality in Swedish government and in particular in the municipal operations. Research results show that Transparency International's rankings have low validity and low reliability and that the government is not acting sufficiently to prevent and fight corruption.

During 2009-2010 Sweden participated in an international military operation whose intention, according to the Swedish news media, was to fight Somali pirates. The purpose of this thesis is to study various decisions and documents behind the Swedish efforts, both military and foreign aid, regarding the matter of Somali pirates during the years 2009-2010 and analyze the results using an interpretation of the security-development-nexus-theory. The method used is text analysis based on the hermeneutic idea of understanding and interpretation.The thesis studies the international resolutions and national decisions that lead to the military operations in the Gulf of Aden and also the international strategies and national approaches regarding Sweden's assistance in the development of Somalia. The theoretical section contains an interpretation of the vast security-development-nexus-theory. The concepts of security and development are first presented separately and then collectively in terms of military security, societal security, economic security, regime security and human security.

The conflict in the former Yugoslavia was characterised by extensive war crimes committed by all parties in the conflict. Two international courts, The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, have both judged if a genocide was committed in this conflict. This paper examines how these two courts relates to each other concerning their legal judgement of the crime of genocide. Two cases are analysed; the judgement of Radislav Krstic´ at the ICTY and the case Bosnia and Hercegovina v. Serbia and Montenegro at the ICJ.

Sweden is in the initial phase of forming a national forest programme (nfp). The establishment of an nfp has been evoked by international policy developments and a national debate questioning Swedish forestry and forest policy. National forest programmes are participatory processes for the development and implementation of forest-related policies and international commitments. Hence, the aim of this master thesis is to assess the stakeholders? acceptance of participation and integration of international issues within the Swedish national forest programme.

Det har inom krigföringen skett en utveckling mot riskfri krigsföring där västliga stater, och då främst USA och Storbritannien är de främsta representanterna. Denna typ av krig är ett resultat av en kombination av (1) minskad inhemsk tolerans för förluster i krig och (2) en teknologisk utveckling inom militären. Denna typ av krigföring har kommit att kallas spektakelkrig och uppvisar en oförmåga att leva upp till kriterierna för att ett krig skall vara rättfärdigt; spektakelkriget har dels svårigheter att startas med en rättfärdig orsak (Jus ad Bellum) och dels att sedan föras rättfärdigt (Jus in Bello) i linje med vad teorin om rättfärdiga krig stipulerar. Jag har funnit bevis för detta genom att undersöka tre sentida, västliga operationer som samtliga har resulterat i krig och där samtliga fallerar på en eller flera av kriterierna för rättfärdiga krig. AbstractThis paper will examine the co-operation culture in teacher work teams in a primary school currently undergoing reorganization in the Stockholm region. This inquiry is based on qualita-tive interviews with teachers and work team leaders, and is aiming to answer how teachers co-operate during the reorganization process, to find the factors that affect co-operation. Our results show that the two teams practice communication, leadership and participation very differently. Currently there are clear differences in the work team?s tendency to develop and to work with the reorganization process, pedagogic methods, social and emotional awareness and ideological beliefs.

AbstractIn 1998 the United Nations held a diplomatic conference on the establishment of an International Criminal Court in Rome. In the end of the conference the negotiating states adopted the Rome Statute by which an international criminal court was established. The court, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, has jurisdiction over the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The court also has jurisdiction over the crimes of aggression but the court will only be able to exercise its jurisdiction of this crime category when the member states of the court have found a definition of the crime.In the draft statute, which was prepared before the conference, acts of terrorism were a proposed crime. With the starting-point in the Rome conference this essay studies how the working-definition of crimes of terrorism was elaborated in the draft statute and how the state delegations viewed the crime.

Inledning: Helhetssynen på rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation berörs av många olika aspekter som påverkar livskvaliteten. Vid rehabiliteringen efter att ha opererat in ett cochleaimplantat (CI) är det viktigt att inte bara se till patientens direkta hörselbehov, utan ha en bredare helhetssyn och ta hänsyn till andra behov patienten kan ha. Olika delar i rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation är teknisk -, medicinsk-, pedagogisk-, psykologisk-, psykosocial-, och samhällelig hörselrehabilitering. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt rehabiliteringsmetoder vid CI-operation sker med utgångspunkt i en helhetssyn på rehabilitering inom audiologisk forskning, samt undersöka hur livskvaliteten påverkas efter CI-operation. Metod: Examensarbetets syfte och frågeställningar har granskats och besvaras genom en systematisk litteraturstudie.  Resultat: Studier med en helhetssyn på rehabiliteringen som innefattar de sex olika delarna inom hörselrehabilitering saknades. Studiens resultat indikerar att livskvaliteten efter en CI-operation blir avsevärt förbättrad, detta utvärderas med olika självskattningsskalor och rehabiliteringsmetoder.

This study investigates to which degree international developments in cataloguing have influenced Swedish cataloguing rules (KRS). The results show that KRS has been influenced by international developments in cataloguing to varying degrees. The study also shows that KRS has been influenced by Anglo-American cataloguing rules, previous editions of Swedish cataloguing rules and by the work undertaken by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions..

Dagkirurgiska operationer står för en stor del av den operativa verksamheten i dag. Många patienter upplever det fördelaktigt att opereras dagkirurgiskt eftersom det påverkar deras vardag i mindre grad. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patienters upplevelse av att vara vaken under en operation i regional anestesi. Inklussionskriterierna var att de skulle ha varit vaken under sin operation, komma ihåg operationen samt vara över 18 år. Tio av de femton tillfrågade valde att delta, åtta var kvinnor och två män i ålder mellan 36 och 72.
