Harmonisering av redovisningsstandarder
Earlier models that measured de facto harmonization of international accounting mainly used indices and other related statistical models. Those approaches do not account for the relative importance of individual balance sheet items or expense items being harmonized. This paper therefore proposes a different approach using Runsten?s (1998) permanent measurement bias model. That way it is possible to quantify the harmonization process by accounting for differences among companies.

This Projects goal was to develop a manual, which was to be used as help for a fishing company in the making of an SMS (Safety Management System). The manual was going to follow the guidelines presented by the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) and the Swedish Transport Agency. The projects client was a smaller fishing company that was about to build a fishing vessel.The work has been carried out as a project, it was finished within the schedule and the client was most satisfied with the result. The client has used the manual in the making of the Safety Booklet (SMS) and they are now certified according to the rules of the Swedish Transport Agency..

My diploma thesis has focused on creating a proposal for a Viking center in Stockholm that meets the international interest. A building dedicated solely to the Viking heritage. My ambition has been to give the Viking center an architecture that can serve as scenography for its exhibitions and to give the visitors a feel for the Vikings that they have been craving. We have noticed a clear trend of new businesses emerging solely offering subscriptions, and existing companies altering sales of their products to become parts of subscriptions. But research has not caught up with this trend yet, especially regarding why it occurs and how it affects existing businesses internally. Man brukar säga att en bild säger mer än tusen ord. Att marknadsföra ett företag genom att använda bilder och video är en strategi som används i allt större utsträckning då det ses som ett starkt marknadsföringsverktyg. I moderna samhällen kan företag inte bara nöja sig med att erbjuda sina tjänster, de måste också sälja dem genom att skapa ett tydligt varumärke. Ett varumärke skapas av en image och denna image ska som mål kunna representera varumärket alldeles självt.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att få en bredare förståelse av marknadsföring via sociala och digitala medier. Examensarbetet har utförts på uppdrag av DJkollektivet ?Håll Käften och dansa? där målet har varit att skapa en internationell webbsida för att marknadsföra dem.

Inom alla verksamheter och organisationer finns det idag någon form av informationssystem. För att effektivisera, förändra och stödja verksamheten har allt fler företag valt att anskaffa ett standardsystem som hjälpmedel. Tyvärr innebär detta även att ett antal problem kan uppstå. Ett av de mest kritiska problemen som bör försöka undvikas är utebliven användaracceptans. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka vilka insatser som bör vidtas i arbetet med att anskaffa ett standardsystem, för att förbättra användaracceptansen.
Att övervinna ofrivillig barnlöshet : En åldersfråga?
Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka erfarenheter hundägare har upplevt av samvaro med hund. Femton individuella intervjuer genomfördes och alla respondenter var hundägare samt medlemmar av en brukshundklubb. Den insamlade datan analyserades med hjälp av tematisk analys. Uppsatsen handlar generellt om de olika erfarenheterna hundägare har upplevt av att äga en hund, samt hur detta kan kopplas till tidigare forskning kring hälsa. Erfarenheter så som bidragande till bättre hälsa, kärlek till hunden, glädje och sällskap tas upp vid flera tillfällen i uppsatsen.
eWOM-kommunikation på Facebook & Prisjakt : En studie av skillnader i konsumenters uppfattning om eWOM
Purpose ? The purpose of this study is to identify and describe how consumer perceptions regarding information quality, sender credibility and effect of eWOM-communication differ between Facebook and Prisjakt.Approach ? Based on previous research an analytical model was designed. The parts in the model were the aspects of the problem which the present study aimed to examine. An experimental design was applied in which ten students at Örebro University were exposed to a scenario where they took part of eWOM-communication concerning a specific product on Facebook and Prisjakt and then had to answer questions in an interview. The analytical model formed the base of the interview guide used in the interview and the specific product was chosen with help from a focus group.Implication ? The study illustrates that consumers may perceive the quality higher on Prisjakt while the sender credibility can be perceived higher on Facebook.

Sales is the foundation for all commercial business and companies that have the best sales process in conjunction with efficient deliveries will do well in the long run. The author of this report was tasked by the Organisation in South Africa to study new/alternative ways of attracting Swedish companies to South Africa and sell the services of the Organisation to these same companies (defined as the sales process in this report) by analysing how similar international service companies do the same. A benchmarking process has been conducted with four similar service organizations in South Africa to examine how these companies work in comparison to the Organization. Surveys have been used for purposes of this study, as the methodology is well suited to provide the author a view on the opinions, perceptions and experiences of the respondents.The project aimed to develop new methods to attract Swedish companies to South Africa or improve and streamline the existing methods. The aim was also to develop new ways to sell the organization's services to Swedish companies.The study concludes that there is little focus on marketing of services within the Organisation.
Ett företag att förändra världen : En normanalys om ansvarstagande för miljö och samhälle i läroböcker i Internationell Ekonomi för gymnasieskolan 1994-2008
Abstract - A business to change the world- An analysis of norms Textbooks for International Economics, in Upper-secondary Schools, Sweden 1994-2008 In this paper textbooks, for International Economics in Upper Secondary Schools in Sweden1994-2008, are analyzed with regard to norms related to taking moral responsibility for environment and society. A method for making discourse analysis, previously illustrated by Östman (2008), is used to deconstruct the knowledge content regarding norms about taking responsibility in relation to different social roles. The first question is: what different norms about taking responsibility can be found, in relation to different social roles? Different social roles that can be found in the studied material are: business-people, consumers, politicians/civil servants and citizens. Norms of taking responsibility in relation to the environment and society are studied in this paper in relation to these different roles. The second question is whether a discursive change in the material can be found. One case of discursive change can be found which is related to the role of a business.
Demokrati i Kuwait : En jämförelse mellan den officiella och inofficiella bilden av demokrati i Kuwait.
Syftet med detta arbete var att jämföra den officiella bilden av demokrati i Kuwait, såsom den beskrivs i konstitutionen från 1962, med den bild som externa oberoendeaktörer ger vad gäller demokrati i landet. Den externa bilden hämtades från olika FNrapporter, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International och The Bureau ofDemocracy, Human Rights and Labour. Dessa kompletterades sedan med en analysav det politiska systemet i Kuwait. Arbetet grundade sig på en demokratiskanalysmetod som utarbetats av International IDEA (Institute for Democracy andElectoral Assistance).Det visade sig att konstitutionen innehöll många demokratiska och individuellarättigheter och garantier ofta i linje med IDEA:s principer. Konstitutionen beskrevinte en fullvärdig demokrati, men många av dess komponenter fanns ändå där.

Distrilux International AB, a company within the Electrolux-group, works among other things with storing of products from other companies in the Electrolux-group. This rapport contains a cost analysis of the two Distrilux warehouses in Motala and Mariestad. The company offers five services in these warehouses, in-loading of products from a local factory and from external factories, storing, out-loading of products to Sweden (domestic) and for export. Since there has been some hesitation of the accuracy of the price-model of today, a master's thesis has been advertised. The purpose of the thesis has been to investigate the agreement of the price-model of today and the apportionment of the costing in warehouses.The main problem is to determine which activities is to be considered important in the price-model.
