High-precision cutting in metal is very complicated, a lot of parameters affect the result: what geometries to be manufactured, surface roughness and tolerances to be achieved, batch size etcetera. When pull-broaching internal parts this might be even more important, than in any other cutting operation. Everything is machined in one single stroke and the general technology is built in to the tool, therefore big investments must be made to change the process. Milling for an example: one piece at a time is machined away, and a lot of parameters can be changed easily.It is very high pressure on the cutting-edge when the broach is cutting. To achieve the specified product and to avoid unnecessary toolwear it is essential to use the right cuttingfluid and the right cuttingspeed for an example.

This paper aims to examine performance monitoring in project organisations. The number of organisations that regularly performs projects as a key part of their operations grows rapidly, why this topic has become of large interest. Through a theoretical framework developed by Lars Östman in 1977, the performance monitoring system of the Swedish government-owned public utility Svenska Kraftnät is studied closely. The results from this analysis are then linked to an analysis of the organisation's internal structure through Mintzbergs generic organisational structures. Close connections are found between organisational structure and performance monitoring, which leads on to interesting observations about the connection between size of a project organisation and choice of monitoring method..

I utbildningen till Drifttekniker vid Linköpings universitet, Campus Norrköping ingår det att under våren på andra året utföra ett examensprojekt. Just det här projektet utfördes på KV1 på Oscarsgatan, som är en del av Tekniska Verken i Linköping.Projektet gick först ut på att uppdatera befintliga provtagningsinstruktioner från 1999 som är bifogade i slutet av rapporten. Jag skulle se som det fanns något att ändra, ta bort eller lägga till. Sedan utvecklades projektet och rapporten till att även beskriva reningscyklerna för matarvattnet och rökgaskondenseringen, och med det i stora drag ta upp de viktigaste fakta och information om de olika reningsmetoderna och reningsstegen.Rapporten ska fungera som en ?snabbkurs? där man lär sig det viktigaste och nödvändigaste ifall att ordinarie drifttekniker av någon anledning inte kan utföra sin uppgift.

Bakgrund: Under senare år har skandaler inom svenska banker uppmärksammats. Det har senare visat sig att många skandaler har uppkommit till följd av brister inom den interna kontrollen. Samtidigt har antalet interna brott som begås på grund av en svag intern kontroll ökat trots att flera noterade bolag har ökat sina investeringar i den interna kontrollen. Banker har en viktig roll i samhället men den interna kontrollens betydelse för att motverka individuell yrkesbaserad ekonomisk brottslighet inom svenska storbanker är inte särskilt utredd.Syfte: Studien ämnar bidra med en förståelse för hur intern yrkesbaserad ekonomisk brottslighet motverkas med de svenska storbankernas interna kontroll med hänvisning till Internal Control ? Integrated Framework och Three Lines of Defence.

This thesis investigates the communicative role of scenography in the performing arts for children, with an aim to make the readers understand the ways in which a set design can be optimized so that a young audience can be able to interpret the play and its message.The art of scenography is complex and includes many elements. The research questions can therefore be grouped into three clusters: one artistic oriented (How does the scenographic process work and what is its relation to the scenic piece at large? In which ways may scenography be used to support the desiderate interpretation?), one audience oriented (Which work processes enhances the chances of creating dramatic art that is perceived as meaningful to the audience? On what premises can the semiotics of theatre be used in the performing arts for a young audience?) and last a cluster that focuses on Den magiska cirkeln (The Magic Circle) by ung scen/öst (What is told in the show and how is this portrayed in the scenography? Who is in the target group, and does the audience get the feeling of the performance as intended?).Den magiska cirkeln is used as a case study in the thesis in order to reflect the theoretical material. Methods in the case study includes performance analysis, a survey completed by 178 people in the audience and an interview with scenographer Anna Dolata. 14 performing analyzes of Swedish children?s theatre shows have been made in addition to the case study.The thesis analyses and compares two work logics; the internal logic and the external logic, and it is shown that meaningful interpretations are likelier to happen with an external logical point of view.

Denna uppsats behandlar utelämning av subjekt och subjektsfundament, samt i viss mån även utelämning av finita verb, i en korpus bestående av satser insamlade från SMS och MSN-konversationer. Av de 151 insamlade satserna är 150 deklarativa satser och en är en frågesats. Det som undersökts är vilka pronomen som utelämnats, vilka verb som förekommer i subjektslös konstruktion, vilka skillnader som kan observeras mellan tal- och skriftspråk samt varför subjektsutelämning sker, kort ur ett historiskt perspektiv, men även huruvida det rent grammatiskt är möjligt med subjektslösa konstruktioner.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att jag är det subjekt som mest frekvent utelämnas. När det gäller verb har däremot ingen motsvarande observation kunnat göras. Det verkar med andra ord inte finnas några särskilda finita verb som gynnar utelämning av subjekt..

Detta examensarbete presenterar en textanalys av berättande texter skrivna av elever i årskurs tre. Vårt material är insamlat under våren 2011, och de fem elever vi studerar har vardera skrivit två texter, en inom det nationella provet och en likvärdig textuppgift skriven i en klassrumssituation. Syftet med studien är att undersöka dessa berättande texter i relation till varandra och vårt fokus ligger på textstruktur samt på textens målande språk. Dessa två områden undersöks i separata delstudier och kompareras därefter med varandra. Vid denna analys framkom att klassrumstexterna höll en jämnare nivå än provtexterna.

Our findings show that depending on the contextual setting and what sort of merger an organization goes through, the identity strategies will differ. We see that symbols and values are two objects of relevance in our case companies? identity strategies, but that there are differences in how they are being used. There is consensus around the fact that values are important to have, however their meaning to each organization differs and it has also proven to be dependent on what position you possess in the company. We have developed a four-fielder in order to further illustrate our findings.

During spring and autumn there could becomechallenges with precipitation. The diverse climate in Sweden affects many homeowners. For thepeople living in leisure boats and permanent housing boats the seasonal changes are clearlyimpacting their economy and the indoor climate.

The objective of this study was to examine how an IT department has been affected by the changes of increased local usage of IT, and how the usage have affected municipalities IT departments demands of IT support. In the study we explore how both the IT department and the IT support works by interviewing present and former employees at the local IT department. The current IT department have undergone a series of local changes over the last 20 years, the department has gone from only having internal users to getting the entire municipalitiy?s agencies of IT as users. It started with how the municipality began to dig down fiber optic cable in the middle of the 1990?s, and today has started to develop solutions as to how to meet the demands of future usage of IT.

?Vi har utfört en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjumoment. Syftet med studien är att få djupare insikt om hur arbetsgivare upplever anställdas publiceringar i sociala medier. Detta då det gällande rättsläget ligger inom en gråzon som arbetsgivare inte kan grunda sina beslut på när även publiceringarna kan uppkomma utanför arbetstagares arbetstid. Därför har vi även tittat på kringliggande faktorer för varför arbetsgivare tror att dessa publiceringar uppkommer och hur arbetsgivare rent praktiskt resonerar kring problematiken.

In order to suggest improvements for the logistics of STARKA, we felt that we had to analyze all the activities which were related to STARKA's logistic processes. Our primary analysis consisted of a rough but comprehensive description of different functions in the company, and the relationship between them. This was performed by following a typical order through the company to see which functions were affected by the order.Since we needed a more thorough view of the company, we decided to analyze the different products STARKA currently has on the market, focusing on economic data such as turn-over, profit, profit margin, deficiency cost and cost of warehousing. We also analyzed the company's choice of manufacturing processes, organization, warehousing processes, strengths and weaknesses.These analyses gave us a clear understanding of the company and its processes. STARKA is a small, function oriented company with a wide range of products.

This final thesis is performed on commission of Torsby forestry administration, Stora Enso Skog. Stora Enso Skog is one of the major forestry companies of Sweden. The main business area is located in and around the region of Bergslagen. During the last decade the practice of forest management has rapidly changed due to a new forest legislation. The new law has resulted in that the production goal is equal to the environmental goal within forestry.

Målet med uppsatsen var att utforska och resonera kring hur en parkanläggning, i detta fall Stowe Landscape Gardens i Buckinghamshire, England, kan få en viss betydelse och värderas högt av eftervärlden. Frågorna som uppsatsen utgått från är: - Vad är Stowe? - Hur beskrivs Stowe? - Vilken betydelse har Stowe och varför? Stowe verkar vara betydelsefull för landskapsarkitekter att känna till, och uppsatsen kan komma att utgöra ett underlag för en diskussion kring hur olika anläggningar framställs i trädgårdshistorien, och hur man som landskapsarkitekt kan förhålla sig till det. Genom litteraturstudier och en intervju med Barry Smith, Head Gardener på Stowe, har en undersökning av hur Stowe omnämns i olika typer av litteratur genomförts, för att se hur Stowe representeras. Uppslagsverk, undervisningslitteratur för landskapsarkitekt-programmet på SLU Alnarp, litteratur från The National Trust (organisationen som äger och förvaltar Stowe idag1) och resonerande trädgårdskonstteori har utgjort underlags-material. Resultatet i tabellsammanställningen tyder på att Stowe har en stor betydelse i träd-gårdshistorien, eftersom den anses vara mycket tidstypisk för landskapsparkernas tids-period, med stöd av de studerade källorna.

In this report you can read about a service company that wants to introduce a new decision tool for their customers. The first question that will be answered in this report is, what information is needed for market controllers. The second question investigates how a decision tool that gives the answers to the first question would work. Theories in business and economics written by Jan Lindvall (2001) and sociotechnical work analysis written by Kim Vicente (1999) are used in this report. To find the answers to question number one, interviews with two market controllers were done.
