Effektiva gränsorganisationer: en fallstudie av regionkontoret North Sweden European Office
Regional European Offices with the purpose to represent regions and municipalities in the EU-system have had a substantial expansion over the last years. One example is the North Sweden European Office for the counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, consisting of seven different headmen who are representing both the private sector as well as the public system. This diverse leadership representation makes North Sweden a very good example on a so called Quango, organisations that stand under simultaneous influence from both public and private sectors. These Quangos opens up new possibilities to solve public problems, but they also bring together two different working models which is not always easy to handle for a Quango. According to earlier surveys some characteristic Quango problems within North Sweden exist, for example the ability to prioritize and thereby be as effective as possible.

Problem: How should a company act to sustain a strong identity and thereby a strong brand image when operating in a changeable world?Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze whether the corporate identity of Academic Work is strong or fragmented. Further more this thesis aims to give recommendations on how the company could continue working to maintain a strong brand image. Methodology: The thesis is a case study of Academic Work. The study is based on data collected from interviews, a poll as well as data from the company website.
Den sportjournalistiska bloggens karaktär : En kvantitativ innehållsanalys
The aim of this paper is to describe the characteristics of the sport journalistic weblog. To achieve this we have used the following questions: Which themes are included in the sport journalistic weblog? How much text does the sport journalistic weblog content? How often is multimediality incorporated in the sport journalistic weblog? Which references occur in the sport journalistic weblog? How many hyperlinks occur in the sport journalistic weblog? How many of the hyperlinks is internal respective external? How often does the sport journalistic weblog offers possibilities to interaction between the journalist and the reader? How often does interaction between the journalist and the reader occur?The theories we have used is both online publishing and Jan Schmidt?s analytical framework on blogs. Online publishing describes an important part in our paper, online journalism, which in turn describes three important definitions for this paper; hypertextuality, multimediality and interactivity. Jan Schmidt?s theory is central to understand the phenomena, and functions as a starting point in the analyze part.

Att safta iväg en volleyboll över nätet : en studie av identitet och image ur ett arbetsgivarvarumärkesperspektiv
Problematisering: Vikten av arbetsgivarvarumärket har växt i betydelse tack vare den brist på välutbildad arbetskraft som råder. För att företagen ska kunna locka till sig och attrahera anställda till företaget blir rekryteringsannonser och företagshemsidan viktiga medium. På hemsidan och i rekryteringsannonserna har nämligen företaget möjlighet att väcka nyfikenhet och visa upp företagets identitet och kultur. Det som kommuniceras i annonserna och på företagshemsidan anses även ha stor betydelse för hur företagets image uppfattas av de potentiellt anställda. Därför blir det viktigt att de svårgripbara delarna av ett arbetsgivarvarumärke ger både existerande och potentiellt anställda de rätta associationerna, samt att dessa associationer kan byggas upp genom samverkande aktiviteter mellan marknadsförings- och HR-avdelningen.
Utveckling av en LC-MS-metod för analys av gamma-hydroxibutyrat, gamma-butyrolakton, 1,4-butandiol, amfetamin och metadon
In this project a LC-MS-method for the analysis of gamma-hydroxybutyrate, gamma-butyrolactone, 1,4-butanediol, amphetamine and methadone was developed.Initially, the efficiency of the ionisation of the analytes was evaluated with respect to the ionisation technique (ESI, APCI and APPI) and the composition of the mobile phase. In the next step a number of different columns was tested in order to find the one with the greatest potential for separation of the substances in question. Using the selected column, the separation was optimised by means of experimental design and the software The Unscrambler 7.8. The parameters studied were the flow rate, the column temperature and the mobile phase composition. The response variables were the resolution between the target compounds and the retention time of the last eluting compound.These experiments showed that, in order to obtain the best ionisation, the mobile phase should consist of 5 mM formic acid in water and acetonitrile.

The change aims to provide a simplified IT administration within the company through a cloud-based approach.The preliminary study provides an interpretation of the concept of cloud computing. It also covers a review of different models to use in order to achieve an internal cloud. In 1993 Sweden introduced a new Forest policy, with a larger freedom of action for the forest owners, but in the same time the forest owners are expected to take greater consideration of the forests and the environment, that is required by the law. This is necessary to be able to obtain the goals of the new policy. Therefore the demand for competence and guidance is larger than before. At the same period of time organisations where slimmed and trimmed during a economic recession and the question is how this has affected the number of employees on different levels in the organisations, the competence of the employees and their internal education and if these changes affects the possibility of implementing the forest policy.
This study contains three points in time where measures were made, 1990, 1995 and 2000.
Särpräglad kommunikation : En studie om särpräglad, homogen & inkongruent kommunikation inom bilbranschen
Följande studie är ett bidrag till forskningen inom strategisk kommunikation och varumäkeskommunikation. Huvudsyftet med studien är att klargöra och finna svar på huruvida varumärkena Audi, BMW och Mercedes-Benz lyckas vara särpräglade i sin kommunikation. Studien ämnar även klargöra var de särpräglade dragen gör sig synliga. Genom att studera varumärkenas homogenitet, och inkongruenta inslag, inom de två dimensionerna; retorik och grafik avser resultatet ge svar på varumärkenas koncept och således tydliggöra de särpräglade dragen i kommunikationen.Önskan med studien är att ge mottagaren en vidare inblick och förståelse för varumärkesskapande och varumärkeskommunikation i en snäv konkurrenssituation. Målet är att besvara de två frågeställningar som studien vilar pa?, följaktligen: 1) Hur skiljer sig Audi, BMW och Mercedes-Benz varumärkeskommunikation åt utifra?n inkongruens och homogenitet? 2) Lyckas varumärkena vara särpräglade trots den påtagliga konkurrensen? Studien utgår huvudsakligen från tre teoretiska ramverk; 1) Teorier kring inkongruent varumärkeskommunikation, 2) teorier om det traditionella perspektivet inom varumärkeskommunikation, 3) teorier om de tre dimensionerna inom studerandet av varumärken.

This master of economics paper discuss that the globalization has lead to increasing internationalization among small Swedish IT- companies in the service sector. Sweden has a long history of foreign trade but in the beginning of the industrialization only large companies that produced goods answered for the foreign trade. Before, the Swedish companies begun their operations abroad in fairly nearby markets and only gradually penetrated far-flung countries. Now this is no longer possible. This thesis aims to explore the process where strategies for music artists are created by record companies. We describe and analyze how decisions regarding signing, distribution, marketing, bookings and co-operations are made. Through our study we find that the strategy process can be described as a pattern according to Mintzberg's definition. The "inside-out" perspective is dominating and the record companies base their strategies on internal core competencies and the artistry and will of the music artist.
