Uppsatsen handlar om hur information och kommunikation har sett ut mellan kommun och skola under den stora IT-satsningen 1996-99. Studien grundar sig i den kvalitativa forskningstraditionen"Fallstudie". Jag ville inhämta en djupgående insikt om IT-satsningens genomförande och deltagarnas tolkning av händelseförloppet. Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka och beskriva hur kommunikationen harfungerat mellan kommun och skola under genomförandet av IT i skolan. För att få kunskap om vad kommunens företrädare och pedagoger tyckte och tänkte om IT- satsningen har jag intervjuat ett antal personer.

MKB är ett verktyg som används som beslutsunderlag i Sverige i stor utsträckning. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilken nytta verksamhetsutövaren upplever att MKB har för miljön och deras projekt. Dessutom syftar studien att undersöka om hypotesen stämmer, att verksamhetsutövaren upplever MKB som en belastning och att detta medför dålig kvalitet på MKB-dokumentet och MKB-processen. Som bakgrund till uppsatsen ges en kort beskrivning av MKB:s historia, lagstiftning, tillämpning och forskning. Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie som riktar sig till en grupp verksamhetsutövare.

The purpose of this study was to examine social worker?s own experiences of dealing with gender perspectives in child welfare cases. With a constructionist perspective, this study is based on a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews. Six social workers were asked to reflect on their work and their methodology, and how it relates to gender perspectives when assessing children and adolescents in child welfare services.The result shows that there is a lack of control and review that children are given a gender neutral treatment. It also shows that there was no explicit protocol for how to take a gender perspective into account when assessing children and adolescents needs of welfare services.

In relation to the paradigm shift that took place between the marketing mix and relationship marketing, and the emergence of information technology in the 90:s, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become a frequently used concept in marketing. Most definitions and approaches have been generated from previous studies, but the concept is still criticized for the number of failed implementation attempts. Along a discussion of the area has an elaborate theoretical foundation remained as the foundation for the study development and utilized in all the sections of the study. The study, with help from Gartner's eight building blocks of CRM, focus on how Swedish medium and large companies work with CRM, and if this is an indicator of the number of failed implementation attempts. The survey consists of two approaches, qualitative and quantitative, to provide both depth and generalizability of the study.

Ordet demokrati betyder, som de flesta förmodligen vet, folkstyre. Men vad innebär demokrati om vi bortser från den rent semantiska betydelsen? Hur får demokratin sin innebörd i dag? Och vad får det för konsekvenser?Mitt syfte med denna uppsats har varit att med hjälp av ett diskursanalytiskt angreppssätt granska hur begreppet demokrati framställs i Demokratiutredningens slutbetänkande En uthållig demokrati! (SOU 2000:1). Mitt intresse inriktades även på hur den demokratiska medborgaren beskrevs i texten. Vad avser man med ordet demokrati? Hur konstrueras demokratin och den demokratiska medborgaren i texten?Demokratin och dess historia beskrivs vanligen linjärt där demokratin betraktas som en i det närmaste fysisk realitet.

Today?s farmers are constantly affected by the fluctuating world market prices on grain and thereby the price risk that comes with the price fluctuations. The volatile prices of grain increase the price risk within the business, which in turn affects the profitability of the business. The fluctuating prices together with the increased price risk within the farm business have opened up the market for hedging instruments. In this master thesis project, the aim is to identify the underlying end-values of 30 Swedish farmers? related to their choice of using hedging and the product; forward contract.

The Swedish government?s objective regarding information technology is to be world-leading in using the possibilities that digitization provides. In some aspects this has already been done, but in some areas much is yet to be accomplished. Although sports and recreational fitness activities are amongst the fastest growing areas of personal and consumer-oriented cloud computing-based technologies around the globe, there are areas within the genre that?s not evolving as quickly.

AbstractThere is a lot of confusion when it comes to defining Special Education. An example of this appears here by a statement from Assarson (2007) "Special Education initiates a special pedagogy, but contains no innate sense of what is the special component in it" (p. 52, authors? translation). This study is an attempt to clarify the elements of the concept.

At night, the visibility is reduced and the demands on the driver increase. A safety system that enables the driver to discover warmer objects in the surroundings when the visibility are reduced, such as the Vision Enhancement System (VES) contributes to safer night-time driving. Since the benefits of this system are established, it is of interest to investigate different design aspects. The VES display has in earlier studies been positioned in front of the driver but different display positions such as peripheral placement should be evaluated. The present simulator study is an investigation of the effects of different display positions inside the car.

This is a case study influenced by Grounded Theory and Symbolic Interactionism. Its focus is on a small group of pupils isolated both geographically and socially from the ordinary school. The composition is written from the children?s perspective. Observations and interviews have made it possible to study both the interaction between the children and also the adults, how the children are described by the adults working with them and what expectations they have on the children.In the light of earlier research, our case study can be seen as an example how the school is dealing with the children?s problems.

This study intends to illuminate women?s experiences of their own self-harm. Self-harm is mostly associated with women and research shows that women mostly are over-represented. This study describes women?s experiences about their self-harm but also how they perceive the elements around them during their illness.

I gruppen möten mellan olika kulturer kommer vi bland annat lyfta fram möten som en invandrare ställs inför när han/hon integreras i det svenska samhället. Dessa möten innebär eventuella möjligheter eller begränsningar till integration. Vi kommer dessutom att diskutera hur en nyanländ människa påverkas av den nya kulturen samt hur individen bevarar sitt kulturella arv. Vi har studerat dessa möten i fyra fallstudier med inriktning på; en mångkulturell svensk gymnasieskola, kulturarv, sexuell läggning och slutligen bostadsförhållanden. I den mångkulturella skolan ligger tyngdpunkten på att studerahur olika etniska grupper samspelar och behandlar varandra.

Sedan miljöbalken infördes och den politiska målsättningen om ett ekologiskt hållbart samhälle lagstadgades har kravet om att sanera förorenade områden stärkts. Därigenom ökar också kravet på en tydlig lagstiftning där det går att ställa förorenaren till svars, i enlighet med den internationellt vedertagna principen om att förorenaren betalar. I studien beskrivs hur miljölagstiftningen i Sverige utvecklats när det gäller regleringen av ansvaret för efterbehandling av förorenad mark. Vidare undersöks om den gällande rätten medverkar till uppfyllandet av miljöbalkens mål om en hållbarutveckling. Som teoretisk grund används teorier om hållbar miljörätt.

The Youth Outcome Questionnaire 2.0 Self Report (Y-OQ 2.0 SR) has been implemented in residential treatment centre in the Municipality of Örebro as a result of the strive for a more evidence-based working approach within social work. This study aims to examine how personnel and adolescents describe the treatment/counseling and support and the application of the Y-OQ 2.0 SR in the units. The questions cover the values the personnel and adolescents ascribe to the application of the Y-OQ 2.0 SR, if the result from Y-OQ 2.0 SR is congruent with how the adolescents have been affected during the placement, which obstacles and/or possibilities emerge in the management of the instrument and if there are any indications that the Y-OQ 2.0 SR is advantageous or disadvantageous in the treatment process. The study has a qualitative approach; four interviews were carried out with adolescents and five with personnel. The result shows that structure is an important component in attaining a change in behaviour.
