The purpose with this study has been to get a previous knowledge about how pre-school teachers look at the impact of the picture book for children and their language development and participation at the age of three to five years. The study was carried through inquiries at a pre-school in a west Swedish urban district. The study proceed from the sociocultural theory which means that children learn by teamwork with other more experienced individuals. The result shows that the pre-school teachers consciously let the interest of the children guide the choice of books. At the same time they push for the meaning of conversation with the children.

This paper examines and summarizes rules, guidelines and methods for how an e-commerce site should be designed, which elements it should contain and where these should be placed. Our approach consists of two phases. First we comprise relevant research within the target area. This is then divided into logical themes and is used as a foundation for an interview guide, which will be used in the second phase. After this, in the second phase, we conduct qualitative interviews with designers that are actively working with design of e--?commerce  sites.

ProblemDå ledningen i en franchiseorganisation inte besitter samma auktoritet som ledningen i andra typer av organisationer kan detta skapa problematik för den interna styrningen (Bradach, 1997). Ytterligare forskning kring styrning inom franchising har efterfrågats (Bradach och Eccles, 1989; Bradach, 1997; Combs et al., 2011).Syfte Syftet är att med utgång i Malmi och Browns (2008) styrpaket vidareutveckla modellen för att förklara och undersöka hur den interna styrningen, i en franchiseorganisation utan företagsägda enheter, ser ut och hur den används.MetodEn kvalitativ studie har utförts samt ett abduktivt tillvägagångssätt har använts. Semistrukturerade intervjuer har varit den främsta metoden för att samla in data.SlutsatsSkillnader har setts i styrningen inom franchising i jämförelse med Malmi och Browns (2008) styrpaket. I uppsatsen presenteras också ett förslag på en typologi för styrning i franchiseorganisationer. Franchisekontraktet, benchmarking och interaktiv styrning har visats vara betydande styrmekanismer för franchiseorganisationer.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur användare påverkas av gränssnittsagenter vars personlighet inte passar ihop med det visuella intryck de ger. Gränssnittsagenterna bestod i den här studien av en räv och en höna och de har testats på användare i ett deklarationssammanhang. Personligheten uttrycktes genom vad agenterna sade, och detta visades på datorskärmen i form av text i pratbubblor. Agenterna har manipulerats så att de vid hälften av betingelserna fått byta personlighet med varandra, alltså att hönan har presenterats med rävens personlighet och tvärt om. En kontrollgrupp har genomfört uppgiften utan att någon agent varit närvarande på skärmen.

Consistent and coherent communication about what the organization stands for and where it is going is crucial if you want to succeed. This is a case study of how organizational members from two real estate companies that have merged into one, perceive their merged organization. The method is depth interviews with management representatives and focus group interviews with members from different levels of the company.

Today the school is a given place for preventing social problems. The school struggles continuously to live up to the expectations of balancing preventive social work with pedagogy in a satisfactory way.The purpose of this essay is to get a picture of priorities of social work in school. I want to know what it is that affects and controls the principal's decision about what kind of social project they will accept and be a part of.This essay shows that only one of the eleven principals interviewed apply projects based on evidence when they decide about participation in a social project. Instead, the decisions are based on references from other schools. The reason why the principals do not base their judgement on projects which are based on evidence is because they consider the search for results too time consuming.When there is no requirement that a certain part of the social work in a school must be based on evidence, it leads to the children taking part in different social projects which we can not guarantee are good for them.One solution can be to guide the principals through a national social teachingplan, which can assure that social work based on evidence are being applied in the municipality schools as well as the independent schools..

Målet med projektet har varit att skapa ett konceptförslag för en platt-form för digitala läromedel, riktad till elever i grundskolans låg- och mellanstadie. Syftet har varit att uppmärksamma och ge idéer hur man med hjälp av ny teknik bättre kan anpassa läromedel till den individuella elevens behov och förutsättningar för lärande samt hur användningen av digitala läromedel och e-papper kan skapa en bättre och mindre papperintensiv skolmiljö.I bakgrunden till projektet behandlas argument varför integrationen av digital teknik i tidig ålder är viktig för att förbereda eleven för en livslång digital kompetens och det redogörs hur studieresultat, motivation och hälsa påverkas av en mer frekvent datoranvändning i skolan, baserat på befintliga studier och intervjuer med lärare och specialpedagog. Målgruppsstudier har genomförts i form av observation av en skoldag i tredjeklass och intervjuer med elever och lärare. Kortfattat redogörs även för befintliga elevdatorer på marknaden och ny teknik som e-bokläsare och webbbaserad, centraliserad datorkraft. Resultatet är en personlig studentenhet som kombinerar funktionen av en interaktiv e-boksläsare med kapacitet till mer avancerade datorfunktioner i form av en bärbar tunn klient dator.

Middle managers in social care find themselves in a middle position. The middle management position involves demands from several interested parties. The demands affect and generate feelings both within themselves and within others and the middle managers have to deal with them all.The aim of this study was to investigate the social care middle manager?s personal experiences of emotions in work.We have completed interviews with four middle managers who are assigned to carry out social care. When doing the interviews we used an interview guide divided into different interview areas.

Title:Product abandonment ? A comparative study of five ABB-units Level:Master thesis in Business administration, spring 2011.Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to through a comparative analysis examine how different companies, within the same group, works with product abandonment and what factors influence the process.Problem:How important is situational and product specific factors in a product abandonment process in which the organizational factors are constant?Method:This study is based on primary as well as secondary data where interviews represent the primary data. Interviews, following the same interview guide, were made with five companies within the same group.Result:The results from the empirical studies presented in the text below recurring themes derived from the framework.Conclusions:Our conclusions are that the importance of product specific factors is of significant matters in a product abandonment process, even when organizational factors are constant. This study aims to find coping resources in two different paradigms of pastoral care using coping theory from the psychology of religion. The intention is to find coping resources that are functional coping strategies to help priests and chaplains in their work with pastoral care. The research questions are: What coping resources can be found in the pastoral clinical paradigm and the contextual paradigm? What are the differences and similarities? The method used is template analysis style where the theories form a framework for the material used to analyse in this study. The theories used for this study are religious coping theory and pastoral care theory.

Purpose: The purpose of the essay is; to explain and clarify how the company is acting to lead members in social media to achieve valuable external communication. The authors believe that it is important to act with credibility and quality in social media, to accomplish long lasting relationships. When employees communicate with consumers their conduct is relevant to the company's credibility.Methodology: An inductive approach has been used for the empirical data collection since the authors have been studying the reality without existing theories. A qualitative research method has been used for collecting the empirical material. Primary data was collected from telephone interviews with seven companies, active in social media.Conclusions: The study shows that the power of employees? can be used when designing strategies for social media.

Denna undersökning handlar om fem lärares inledande undervisning i läsning och skrivning. Syftet har varit att ta reda på vilka metodval som lärarna gjort och hur de gått tillväga i sin läs- och skrivundervisning i årskurs ett. Lärare kan antingen välja att använda sig av analytiska eller syntetiska metoder. De kan också använda en kombination av de två, en så kallad interaktiv metod. Avsikten har också varit att ta reda på hur lärarna förhöll sig till styrdokumenten , Lpo94 och kursplanen i svenska.

The aim of this essay is to examine how educated immigrants from former Yugoslavia are experiencing the Swedish labor market and if they feel that there are factors that complicate their ability to establish themselves in the Swedish labor market. We have also examined whether and if so, how their status has changed in connotation with the move to Sweden. The method we have used is a qualitative interview study where we asked questions from a semi-structured interview guide. We chose to make use of both previous research and a number of analytical tools for using these to interpret inequality and discrimination that exist in the Swedish labor against educated immigrants. The results presented four factors that our respondents perceive contribute to difficulty in establishing themselves in the Swedish labor market, these are: contacts, name, validation and trainee post.

Ett verktyg för datorstödd interaktiv utbildning, Web-based Training, har utvecklats på Sigma Information Design. Två olika utvärderingsmetoder har använts för att öka dess användbarhet: heuristisk utvärdering och användartestning. Heuristisk utvärdering är en analytisk metod där expertutvärderare inspekterar gränssnittet för att predicera (förutse) användbarhetsproblem. Användartestning är en empirisk metod där tänkbara reella användare deltar och användbarhetsproblem observeras. Föreliggande studie fokuserar på användbarhets-problem som både prediceras med den analytiska metoden och observeras med den empiriska, så kallade ?träffar?.Analytiska metoder predicerar användbarhetsproblem genom att utpeka bristande ?intrinsic features?(gränssnittsegenskaper).

Bakgrund: Enligt Statens Folkhälsoinstitut, i barnmorskors guide för samtal om alkohol, redogörs för hur barnmorskor skall informera alkoholens skadliga effekter samt vilka eventuella skador alkoholen kan ge fostret. Tidigare forskning visar att det inte är ovanligt att kvinnor dricker alkohol fram tills att de blir medvetna om sin graviditet, därefter avstår det stora flertalet helt från alkohol under fortsatt graviditet. Vetskapen för den gravida kvinnan om att hon intagit alkohol innan hon var medveten om sin graviditet kan orsaka oro att barnet blivit skadat. Syfte: Syfte med studien var att beskriva barnmorskors professionella handläggning kring alkoholinformation under graviditet. Metod: Studien bygger på fem semistrukturerade intervjuer med barnmorskor som arbetar inom mödravården.
