This is a study of innovative technologies that are primarily based on collaboration with a client who in this study is called FTG, because they chose to be anonymous. A problem set has been presented, analyzed and worked with. The result of this is that we found some weaknesses in the leadership that have influenced the motivation in the workgroup negatively. The study has focus on changing leadership in order to increase motivation and openness to innovation within the company. With this focus on change in leadership, we have done a basic search for relevant theories related to the topic and found interesting data to work with.

This report is about intranets and SharePoint. It explains how user?s expectations can affect an implementation of an intranet and what companies want to get out of an intranet. It?s also about risks that may occur when an intranet is developed and how to avoid these problems.SharePoint is a collaborative platform and publishing system from Microsoft that assists developers in the implementation of an intranet.

This paper is a Master thesis for the Master?s program in International and European Relations in the Department of Management and Economics at Linköping University. As the title indicates, the aim of this thesis is to make a comparative analysis of the conflict resolution initiatives that were employed in the Sierra Leonean and Liberian conflicts. The research questions are: ? What were the root causes and trajectories of the Sierra Leonean and Liberian conflicts? ? What were the conflict resolution initiatives employed in resolving both conflicts? ? Why did the Lome Peace Accord succeed in the case of Sierra Leone whilst the Abuja Peace Accord failed in bringing peace to Liberia? In order to answer the afore-mentioned questions and fulfil the aim of this paper, a qualitative research method has been chosen.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelser hos levertransplanterade patienter. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie där artiklarna är sökta i databasernaElin@Dalarna, Blackwell Synergy, EBSCO Host, CINAHL (EBSCO), PubMed, Wiley, inter Science. Sammanlagt analyserades 15 artiklar. Både kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar ingick. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades med hjälp av granskningsmallar och de artiklar som var av hög eller medelhög kvalitet inkluderades.Resultat: Detta resulterade i tio kategorier; känslan av hopp och glädje samt oro, känslan avatt förlora kontrollen, tacksamhetskänsla, identitet, stöd och trygghet i återhämtningsprocessen, relation till andra och sig själv, plågsam smärta, emotionellt och fysiskt välbefinnande,önskan om att återgå till det normala livet och upplevelser av sjukvårdspersonalensstöd.

The aim of this Master thesis is, from a sociocultural perspective, to investigate the views the teaching librarians at Södertörn University Library (SHB) have on learning, information literacy, and their own pedagogical role, and how their views affect user education and their ideas about the future of user education.The research questions used were: How do the teaching librarians view learning? How is this view reflected in their work with user education? How do the teaching librarians envisage user education in the future, and how do they work to reach that goal?Five semi-structured interviews were conducted with the teaching librarians at SHB. The interviews were then analysed using qualitative content analysis.The results of the study show that the teaching librarians at SHB share a sociocultural view on learning, and take a communicative oriented approach to user education. They believe that communication and interaction support learning, and in the classroom they stimulate discussions both between librarian and student, and between the students themselves. In the future, they hope for improved collaboration between librarians and academic staff, and that user education will become a natural element of the curriculum..

The purpose of this study was to examine how social work professionals view their professional role and how they think about the concept of social work. I also wanted to investigate what they believe characterize a professional social work. For the purposes of this study, I chose a qualitative approach in which I interviewed five people linked to the social work. The theories which I have assumed in the analysis of the results are power theory, organization theory and professional theory. The results of this study show that the respondents believe that a professional social work is performed by someone who has training and experience in the field.

The aim with this study is to explore if and how linguistic learning takes places when four pairs ofstudents in grade one writes on the computer. Observations of eight students took place duringtwelve lessons to investigate what happened during their writing processes. This study isimportant because students? computer writing is a relatively new phenomenon in the Swedishprimary school.It is clear that the peer collaboration creates a complex interaction that becomes the platform, andalso the prerequisite, for successful language training. The method can clearly give students profitsin their linguistic development.

My essay is concerned with intercultural leadership and practical knowledge. The essay is about ethical dilemmas and the diversity of issues we face constantly at the preschool. In my story I examine the different views of knowledge and the opportunities to lead people in an intercultural way, and how they relate to each other. I start by looking at the ethical ideas that form the basis for our actions and our view of knowledge. Then, I examine how the practical wisdom guides the ethical dilemmas that arise at the preschool.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att inventera och undersöka förändringsarbetares förhållningssätt och hantering av potentiella och utvecklade konflikter i förändringsarbete som fokuserar på jäm-ställdhet och mångfald i arbetsorganisationer. Studien är avgränsad till sex förändringsarbet-are, anställda i eller arbetande för välfärdsorganisationer i Göteborg, som arbetar utbildande med jämställdhets- och mångfaldsfrågor.Tidigare forskning i uppsatsen har behandlat forskning som rör det komplexa i att arbeta praktiskt med jämställdhet och mångfald i arbetsorganisationer, motstånd mot förändrings-arbete med jämställdhets- och mångfaldsfrågor och det paradoxala i deltagarinflytande i utbildningar som rör frågorna. Teoribildningen som utgjort uppsatsens analytiska verktyg är diskursanalysens diskursteori, använd för att undersöka meningsskapande diskursiva utsagor om hantering av potentiella och utvecklade konflikter och kategoriseringsmodellen ABC-triangeln, använd för att kategorisera verksamma konfliktaspekter i utbildningssituationerna.Metoden för uppsatsen är öppet tematiska kvalitativa intervjuer med en induktiv ansats. Inter-vjuformen valdes för att möjliggöra sökandet efter diskursiva mönster i intervjupersonernas tal och den induktiva ansatsen gjorde det möjligt att sätta den insamlade empirin i centrum för uppsatsen.Resultatet av undersökningen visar en variation av meningsskapande strategier, som föränd-ringsarbetare använder sig av för att hantera potentiella och utvecklade konflikter i utbild-ningssituationer med fokus på jämställdhet och mångfald. Resultatet visar också att de meningsskapande strategierna är verksamma i två diskurser med olika fokus ? den ena mer uppdragsstyrt och med mindre strävan efter djupgående förändring och den andra vice versa..

AbstractThis study examines how knowledge transfer works within the student nations of Uppsala. The purpose is to describe and analyze how the knowledge is transferred when the officials are being exchanged within the student nation. Furthermore the purpose is to explore if the student nations work active to preserve the knowledge and how it is done in such case. Eight out of Uppsalas thirteen nations are part of the study and the survey was conducted by qualitative interview. The study mainly assumes from Argotes theories on the organizational memory, Davenport and Prusaks theories on knowledge transfer and Nonaka and Konnos SECI-model. The study reveals that the student nations work in different ways and more and less active with knowledge transfer.

The aim is also to examine whether the corporate culture can become a management control measure by good communication between employees within the organization.Methodology: The essay is based on a qualitative research method and empirical data were collected through interviews from the company MTR Stockholm.Theoretical Frame of reference, Edgar Schein, Three Levels of Culture, Seven dimensions.Results: The study has shown that there are different cultures within the company. But also that there is a strong corporate culture within the business, the respondents feel an affinity with working within the underground rather than working for the company MTR Stockholm..

I föreliggande studie undersöktes kommunikativa resurser i samtal mellan tre personer med afasi och deras respektive logoped/anhörig. Syftet var att identifiera och analysera resurser som samtalsdeltagarna gemensamt använde för att uppnå intersubjektivitet. Vidare undersöktes om det, utifrån vem personen med afasi samtalade med, fanns någon inverkan på hur de kommunikativa resurserna användes. Sex dyader spelades in och samtalsanalys användes för att studera materialet. Samtalsämnen valdes fritt av samtalsdeltagarna.

Our purposes with this essay was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home, their parents and the social welfare secretaries get an apprehension on their way of looking at the purpose of placement in a HVB-home agrees with the comprehensive view of the placement. We also wish to get a picture of what is of important to change in this matter. How do they experience the reasons for the placement, goals and purpose? What positive and negative experience do they have from their placement? What is relevant to change when you look at the different parties' ways of looking at change/progress in this matter? In what different ways do the parties look upon collaboration and how does that effect the treatment? Our qualitative study is built upon interviews with the persons mentioned, upon educational visits to HVB-homes and upon interviews of staff at HVB-homes. The staffs opinion has also been compared with the other perspectives.

Ämnesintegrering är ett av många sätt att organisera undervisningen på. Syftet med integreringen är att kunskap från två eller flera ämnen samverkar för att skapa en helhetssyn hos eleven. Syftet med min undersökning är att ta reda på hur elever och lärare uppfattar ämnesintegration samt vilka fördelar och nackdelar lärare och elever upplever med arbetssättet. Undersökningen utgörs av kvalitativa intervjuer med tre stycken elever samt fyra stycken lärare som undervisar i de gymnasiegemensamma ämnena. Resultatet visar att eleverna upplever att de lär sig nyttiga saker som de kommer att få användning av i livet.
