Examensarbetet formulerar förutsättningar för ett samtida stationssamhälle utifrån utvecklingen av stationssamhällen utefter järnvägsdragningarna på 1800-talet och dagens förutsättningar. Arbetet är indelat i fem delar. Den första beskriver uppkomsten och utvecklingen av stationssamhällen fram till idag. I del 2 beskrivs det samtida stationssamhället utifrån historien och dagens förutsättningar. Beskrivningen utgår ifrån de tre ledorden som är viktiga i utformningen av samhället; rörelse, mötesplats, blandning.

Syfte med denna undersökning har varit att belysa tidigarelärares uppfattningar av demokrati­upp­draget i 2000-talets skola. Vi har noggrant valt ut forskningsfrågor för att uppnå syftet. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med fem lärare riktade mot tidigare år. Frågorna grundar sig i det syfte vi vill belysa. Resultatet består av delar av intervjuerna som vi valde att lyfta fram utifrån våra forskningsfrågor.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how six students who attend a high school relate to their multilingualism and emphasize how their multilingualism has affected their views of themselves and their identity. The fundamental questions were:How do six students who attend a secondary school relate to their multilingualism?How has students' multilingualism affected their views of themselves and their identity?I did use a qualitative research method in terms of interviews to receive answers for my inquiries.Carla Jonsson (2010) speaks inter alia about ?the third space? which concerns adolescents creating a ?third room?. Almqvist (2006) believes that adolescents that are exposed to discrimination and prejudices can lead to them turning their backs on society in disappointment. Boyd (1985) has, in his thesis, found that multilingual students communicate with the majority language and with their mother tongue with their parents.

Enligt vår empiri kan lärande uppstå även i nätverk som inte är skapade med grundtanke att lära. Nätverksplattformen är en viktig grund för att lärandet ska kunna utvecklas, vi ser dock lite annorlunda på tid och resurser då teorin säger att den är tidskrävande, medan vi menar motsatsen. Vi anser även att Nätverksplattformen behöver kompletteras. Här utgör bland annat struktur och rutiner en viktig förutsättning, men också motivation och utvecklandet av individen för att bibehålla lärandet i ett längre perspektiv..

The large number of surrendered and feral cats is a big animal welfare problem all over the world. Populations of feral cats arise through a large number of unwanted cats which can lead to surrender of these, through cats allowed to roam free outside which can lead to the owner losing these and through the reproduction that occurs amongst these surrendered or lost cats. One aim of this study is to give an account of this problem. It is however difficult to draw general conclusions about these populations of cats since studies all over the world has been carried out on different types of populations, during different conditions and different periods of time. The welfare of many of these cats is presumably low because they are exposed to risks as disease, starvation, climate, traffic, other animals and humans.

Projects are often spoken of in the terms of rational systems. However, some researchers point out the relevance of viewing projects as sets of relationships. Little is published about what aspects of relationships that are important for the managing of projects. We have argued for the necessity of such research. With previous research, our case study and interviews we indentified communication, responsibility, cooperation, togetherness and trust as important relational aspects in projects.The overall perceived success for projects in this case, was increased with the adoption of new agile methods.

The aim of this research was to gain a comprehensive understanding of how daily activities impact the organizational culture within the Swedish Police enforcement agency, Polismyndigheten. The study specifically explored the influence of the purported culture of silence on organizational culture. Employing a case study approach, data were collected with a qualitative method from a total of 15 individuals, including students and officials affiliated with Polismyndigheten. The findings were categorized into five distinct groups, revealing a noticeable gap between employees and management. Additionally, the study identified generational disparities and a lack of a clear set of core values.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine how students who also serve as writers of bachelor theses mainly utilizing the discourse analysis methodology comprehend the method of discourse analysis, and in what way the students bestow it in their research.Methodology and Material: This is a case study of the theses, which are also the text material, as it can be used examining numerous cases. Another beneficial factor is the relationship to the theoretical framework. One does not need to divorce the two institutions; instead they cooperate with each other.Results: A thoroughgoing apprehension of the Discourse Analysis is it being strongly attached to semiotics and how texts can be analyzed by the method in question to reveal institutions in our society alongside with mapping out the agency of words. In this paper I study how the repeal of the Swedish wealth tax (1 of January 2007) has affected people´s labour supply behaviour. This particular issue is relevant because it may help us understand some of the effects of the earnings tax changes that have taken place in Sweden. Accoring to standard economic theory a repealed wealth tax is similar to an income effect for the persons who previously paid the tax. That means that they theoretically will want to consume more leisure, that is decrease their labour supply. The method I am using to test this hypothesis is a difference-in-difference approach where the treatment group consists of persons who previously paid the tax and the control group of comparable persons who did not pay the tax.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur ämnet motorik i trä-ningsskolan genomförs, hur pedagogerna går till väga vid planering och upplägg och ?tänket? bakom. Författaren ville med detta arbete fördjupa sin förståelse och kunskap om hur man uppnår en individuellt anpassad motorik för eleven samt visa på likheter, skillnader och gemensamma nämnare i tankegångar, planering och arbetssätt. En kvalitativ metod har använts och i studien har tre pedagoger som är ansvariga för ämnet motorik på träningsskolorna intervjuats. Informanternas utsa-gor samt relevant litteratur ligger till grund för detta arbete.

The guest harbor on Utö, Utö Gästhamn, is currently using electricity for heating all of the water used in the showers and taps. Because of the large amount of visitors, especially during the summer months, the hot water usage gets very high and that is also the case for the electrical bills. During the year of 2011 the cost of electricity for Utö Gästhamn reached a total of 257 500 kr. Out of these 257 500 kr approximately 142 000 kr, 55 % of the total cost, were because of the water heating.The report is the result of a cooperation with Skärgårdsstiftelsen, the Green Islands-project and Utö Gästhamn where the mutual goal is to dimension a solar energy system, to promote the sustainable development.Initially the different techniques for the solar energy system are researched. The techniques are plane solar collectors, evacuated tube collectors, pool collectors and photovoltaic cells.

Syftet med undersökningen är att se om och hur pedagoger konstruerar genus och traditionella könsroller i skolan. Vi har valt att använda oss av den kvalitativa och halvstukturerade inter-vjun som metod. Vi har intervjuat fyra pedagoger i grundskolans tidigare år för att undersöka hur de talar om traditionella könsroller och genus. Vi vill se om pedagogerna förstärker eller förebygger traditionella könsroller och genus i skolan.I läroplanen för det obligatoriska skolväsendet (Lpo 94) står det att personal inom skolan ska arbeta för att främja jämställdheten samt bryta de traditionella könsroller som finns. Vi menar att det är pedagogers skyldighet att arbeta för en jämställd skola.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om samverkan. Syftet med studien var att undersöka den samverkan som äger rum inom verksamheten Barnahus i Gävleborgs län. Empirin samlades in med kvalitativa halvstrukturerade interjuver med sju verksamma inom Barnahus. Resultatet visar att samverkan existerar och yttrar sig i olika nivåer beroende på profession och arbetsmoment. Uppsatsen ger vidare belägg för att samverkan är ett komplext fenomen men att en ständig utvecklingsprocess inom verksamheten pågår.

We would like to learn more about how the restrictive policy against incentive programmes affects the board?s of Swedish state owned commercial firms ability to govern management in an efficient way. We also want to find out if there are different consequences in reference to this that are not directly linked to corporate governance issues. Our empiric observations have been made in order to profoundly explore the subject and examine it through the eyes of professional individuals, all expressing different views and standpoints. We conclude that the most efficient structure is when an active board is complemented by a well structured and individualised incentive programme.
