This report is introduced with a presentation of fundamental electromagnetic theories, which have helped a lot in the achievement of methods for calculation and design of microstrip transmission lines and circulators. The used software for the work is also based on these theories. General considerations when designing microstrip solutions, such as different types of transmission lines and circulators, are then presented. Especially the design steps for microstrip lines, which have been used in this project, are described. Discontinuities, like bends of microstrip lines, are treated and simulated.

Workers are more demanding than ever and stay a shorter amount of time within the same organization. For this reason we wanted to look further into how organizations work with motivation in order to create success in Knowledge Intensive Firms. The complexity of knowledge workers formed the base for our interest within the subject. The purpose of our thesis is to reflect upon what is written about the motivational effects of recruitment and reward strategies in Knowledge Intensive Firms. Further our essay is based on an abductive advocacy.

Denna uppsats behandlar historieskrivningen rörande Gustav III i skolans läroböcker i historia. Studiens syfte är att undersöka och redogöra för hur framställningen av Gustav III i svenska läroböcker riktade till mellanstadiet har sett ut och förändrats under åren 1902-2005. Vidare är syftet att studera huruvida denna framställning är redovisad som en beskrivande, berättande eller som en argumenterande historia efter Tom Wikmans teori om historieskrivning i läroböcker. Uppsatsens slutliga syfte är att undersöka hur Gustav III har framställts som person och som regent, samt hur hans politik och politiska beslut har blivit presenterade. Det källmaterial som studien bygger på är sju läroböcker tryckta mellan åren 1902-2005.

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the content of the democratic values tolerance, personal development and political equality, in relation to the Swedish school?s systems fundamental values, and from there problematize the schools approach towards the Sweden Democrats. By using a qualitative text analysis upon the party program of Sweden Democrats, we have been able to fulfill the aim of the thesis. We have motivated and defined our chosen democracy values from the schools fundamental values and from democracy theory. With the use of an analyze schedule we have been able to go through with the interpretation and analyze of the party program of the Sweden Democrats.

Classification systems express an idea of the world as it was when the systems was made. If the classification system is not revised there is a possibility that the system will become antique and hard to apply to different subjects. The purpose of this study is to see if the SAB-system is a classification system which shows a reflection of the subject Religion that is equivalent with that of Swedish universities. The ideas which are behind the classification of the subject religion in the SAB-system have been analysed, as well as the structuring of the scientific discipline Religion at the universities. The result will show if the SAB-system can classify the subject religion in a satisfying way at university libraries.

Denna studies syfte är att undersöka vilken uppfattning särbegåvade individer har av det svenska skolsystemet. Anser de att skolan gör det som krävs för att hjälpa dessa individer eller borde de få stöd från skolan i högre grad? Är det accepterat att vara särbegåvad i den svenska skolan eller kan det rentav vara till nackdel? Är det viktigt att man får utnyttja sin potential eller är det viktigare att alla elever uppnår samma mål? För att få fram vad de särbegåvade individerna tycker om detta har jag valt attgenomföra en enkät bland medlemmar i Mensa (en förening som samlar personer som presterat ovanligt bra på intelligens­test) för att sedan sammanställa resultaten och försöka koppla dem till vad som sägs i den pedagogiska litteraturen om dessa frågor. Studien visar att de särbegåvade individerna generellt sett anser att skolan i väsentligt högre grad skulle kunna stödja sådana elever. De anser dock inte att detta får ske på bekostnad av andra elever, utan att det är viktigare att de svaga eleverna får möjlighet till hjälp att uppnå skolans mål.

Purpose: This study deals with warehouse management with an emphasis on vertical lift modules (VLM). The aim is to examine the effect of the implementation of VLM on a business's warehouse management. In order to obtain a result, the study has been based on the following questions:? How was the warehouse management designed before the implementation of VLM?? How is warehouse management designed after the implementation of VLM?Method: To be able to answer these questions, interviews with ten users of VLM performed. All users usually lift systems from the same manufacturer.

This thesis has been performed at BAE Systems Hägglunds, which is located in Örnsköldsvik. Hägglunds has a wide background of engineering, where they have manufactured all from airplanes to lifting cranes. Currently they only produce track vehicles at Hägglunds, where they manufacture the CV90 and BVS10 models. This thesis concerns the BVS10 which is an all-terrain-vehicle. The main purpose with the BVS10 is to enable transportation of material and personnel thru tough terrain.

Stress during and after transportation can negatively affect the meat quality or cause carcass damages, which leads to major economic losses every year. The transportation chain can be divided into several stages; loading, transport and unloading. This literature review focuses on unloading of pigs from a transport. When arriving at an abattoir pigs can be fatigued and need to be as smoothly unloaded as possible.

In this paper we have theoretically built a house designed for people with impaired mobility. Theessay begins with an introduction in which the purpose of the work, the methodology and thedepth-research part is presented. Then the layout that explains how we intend to adapt the housefor the demands detailed in the depth-research part is presented. In the same chapter variousstructural components, such as different floors and walls, are specified.In the selection of materials we have taken into account the criteria of our specialization andadaptation to the aesthetic aspects, where we evaluate materials based upon our wishes regardingtechnique and form. There are also other aspects that are important in the selection of materials,including that these are adapted to technical traits of the construction elements and installations.In a later chapter the technical installations such as ventilation systems, heating systems,electricity and sanitation are presented, where both technical and financial aspects are describedin detail.

Sweden is dependent on secure sea transport. Shorter disruption of imports of fuel and crude oil can be managed with an emergency stock, but a prolonged halt in imports creates problems. For industry, the vulnerability is greater. Fragmented production chains in combination with expenditure reductions in inventory causes a dependency on proper transport of intermediate goods in the manufacturing industry. A lengthy disruption thus involves disruption of production for both domestic consumption and for export goods containing imported parts.In order to secure shipping routes with a limited number of vessels, Mine Counter Measures (MCM) capacity is required, and according to the Armed Forces, developed with new sensors and autonomous vehicles.

Det ingår två stycken elektriskabromsar i varje system. Om det tex blir fel på en av bromsarna och dennapåverkar ett av systemen vill man kunna koppla bort denna enskilda bromsmed sitt system. Man vill även kunna försörja den fungerande bromsen somsitter i samma system via en så kallad Axle Link.
