Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att se om en grupp utvalda lärare med respektive utan pedagogisk utbildning använder sig av pedagogiska verktyg i undervisningen. Vi har genomfört observationer i klassrummen för att därigenom lättare kunna se sammanhangen när intervjuerna sedan genomfördes.I de teoretiska utgångspunkterna har vi valt att se närmare på speciellt Kolbs modell och Dunns lärstilsmodell. De lyfter fram modeller som kan utformas praktiskt och göra det lättare för den enskilde individen att omforma materialet för att kunna nyttja detta till en bättre inlärning.Vidare har vi valt att studera Howard Gardners utvecklade syn på intelligens, det han benämner som ?de nio intelligenserna?. Gardner menarI resultatet av våra intervjufrågor framkom att lärarna använde sig av lärstilar i någon form, men saknade tiden för att utveckla den egna kunskapen mer.

Det problem som denna uppsats hade för avsikt att besvara var varför hemautomation inte används i fler hem. Genom resultaten från en enkät som distribuerades kunde slutsatsen att kostnaden för de befintliga lösningar som finns på marknaden idag inte låg i den prisklass våra respondenter ansåg rimlig. Författarna utvecklade då problemet och ställde sig frågan om en hemautomationslösning verkligen måste ha en så hög kostnad som de befintliga lösningarna har idag. För att belysa detta problem implementerades en egen kostnadseffektiv lösning där respondenternas mest önskvärda funktioner togs i beaktande och en testmiljö implementerades utefter dessa. Resultatet blev en hemautomationslösning med stor potential och med en betydligt lägre kostnad än dagens befintliga lösningar..

This essay addresses and treats the employer's obligation to work adaptation for people with a physical disability according to discrimination law and the work environment law. Furthermore it also treats the employer's obligation to rehabilitation of employees that has a reduced working ability as consequence of their work. The essay also intends to investigate if there are any differences in the employer?s obligation to work adaptation when recruiting and the employer?s obligation to work adaption for an existing employment. In this work, there is a background chapter which describes the UN and the European Union's approach to work reduction ability and disability. Furthermore, there is a detailed description of the work environment law, the discrimination law, the social insurance code and the employment protection legislation.

Värdet på ett företag kan variera beroende på vilken nytta det kan anses ha för olika individer.Att finna ett värde på ett företag som är fullkomligt sant, objektivt eller obestridligt är därför iprincip en omöjlighet. Resultatet av en företagsvärdering bygger i stor utsträckning påantaganden och subjektiva uppskattningar vilket påverkar bedömningen, men även syftet ochvilken typ av företag det gäller har betydelse för värderingen.Värdering av såväl onoterade som noterade företag bygger på samma modeller och principer,men det är förknippat med större osäkerhet och svårighet att bedöma ett onoterat företag.Problematiken ligger bland annat i att det för onoterade företag saknas löpandemarknadsvärde från börsen. Dessutom är det förknippat med större svårighet att fastställadiskonteringsräntan vid användandet av en diskonteringsmodell och finna ett sannolikt måttpå risk. Problem kan även uppstå på grund av att onoterade företags värde i många fall har enstark koppling till dess ägare.Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva vilka delar som påverkar en värdering av ett onoterattjänsteföretag, för att därefter förklara hur ett teoretiskt förankrat värde kan fastställas. Studienomfattar bemanningsföretaget Speed Management AB och uppsatsen grundar sig på följandefrågeställningar:? Vilka delar bör beaktas vid en värdering av det onoterade företaget Speed?? Vilket värde på Speed kan slutligen uppskattas när teori förankras i empiri?Studien utgår från olika teoretiska värderingsmodeller för att påvisa arbetsgången när ettonoterat företag skall värderas.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate the special services for immigrants which are offered by Swedish libraries on their different levels regional, local and school as well as immigrants experiences of the library services and how these services and experiences conduct themselves to the development of the harmonic multicultural society. The methods used were interpreting reflexive interviews with immigrants and librarians. The guiding theory in this study was a three-phase model by Gillis Herlitz according to which a newcomer goes through three stages in an adaptation period. Phase 1 is a positive honeymoon phase, that later is replaced by phase 2, a critical disappointment period, which then ideally should be resolved in phase 3, where the individual reaches a balancing stage of cultural adaptation. The results of my observations indicate that the performances of the different libraries seem to operate in a way that corresponds to the different phases in this model.

Interactive Institute?s Power Studio i Eskilstuna har ett projekt som heter AWARE. AWARE är ett designorienterat forskningsprojekt som syftar till att öka människors medvetenhet om hur elenergi används i vardagen, speciellt i hemmen. Målet är att uppmärksamma människor om deras elanvändning samt ge de ett medel att kunna kontrollera och göra deras elanvändning mer effektiv.Som en del i AWARE ska en intelligent bärbar armatur som är batteridriven tas fram som ska få människor att tänka på att elenergi inte är något konstant och outtömligt. Det ska finnas visuella effekter som på ett bra sätt kan väcka dessa tankar.

Common problems with this design are for instance scratch marks on the strip and problems with the flatness measuring system.  One way of circumventing the aforementioned problems would be a non-contact measuring system. The market of today only offers systems based on the Doppler principle.This report evaluates three different systems for non-contact speed measurement. Important areas in the evaluation have been the ability to operate under normal rolling conditions, integration in existing control system and how well the sensor can be fitted to the rolling mill.

The work has been performed in collaboration with Jönköping University. The aim of this work has been to study different methods for mobile adaption of large CMS (Content Management System) websites, where the website of Jönköping has been used as a reference.The website at Jönköping University is used daily by current students, faculties, prospective students and external users. Research carried out by the University shows that the use of mobile devices has increased, and it is therefore necessary to examine the mobile adaptation of the large CMS website.A layout proposal has been suggested by determining which method that is most relevant for mobile adaption of a large CMS website. The website should adapt to different resolutions and devices according to how the existing website is based in the current situation. Emphasis has been put on menu operations, to navigate through the large website in a user-friendly way.

Through interaction with customers, companies can acquire knowledge about- and satisfy the needs of customers. In retailing, the ranges of products are standardized and staffing numbers are scarce. How do companies in retailing deal with adaptation towards their customers given the small staffing numbers? The purpose of this study is to examine if and if so, how companies in the Swedish retailing industry are making adaptations towards their customers and also why these adaptations are being made. To answer this purpose, observations in the retailing industry are conducted and the results show that companies adapt to customers? needs.

SammanfattningDetta examensarbete är ett produktutvecklingsprojekt som har utförts på beställning av St. Jude Medical. Syftet med projektet har varit att undersöka och förbättra den klämprocess som skapar ett klämförband på pacemakerelektroder. Processen sammanfogar tre komponenter genom klämning och detta sker idag med en pneumatisk klämtång. Denna process är mycket operatörsberoende och ett antal förbättringsområden finns.Projektet har fokuserat på att nå upp till de listade kraven som, i samarbete med St Jude Medical, tagits fram för att förbättra den befintliga processen.

This project was led on behalf of Bombardier Transportation in Västerås, Sweden, incollaboration with KTH Stockholm and EPFL Lausanne. This project is connected to thedevelopment of a new and simplified tilt system for rail vehicles.Growing competition from other means of transportation has forced railway companiesthroughout the world to search for increased performances.Travelling time is the mostobvious performance indicator that may be improved by introducing high-speed trains.They require very large curve radii and long transitions curves not to impairridecomfort, another performance indicator. Building new tracks adapted to high speedtrains is very costly and can only be justified where the passenger base is large.Trains with the capability to tilt the carbodies inwards the curve is a more cost efficientalternative. The tilt inwards reduces thelateral force felt by the passengers allowing thetrain to pass curves at enhanced speed with maintained ride comfort but increases thefrequency ofmotion sickness.The benefits of tilting trains are improved speed capability in curves and enhancedpassengers comfort, but at higher buying and maintenance cost. As the conventionaltrains increase their speed in curves, the performance advantage of tilting trains isreduced while their prize is still kept significantly higher and constant.

In the last decades, high speed cutting has become an attractive technology in the wood industry. The possibility of reducing global costs in addiction with an increase in productivity, were the main reasons for the enlargement of the use of this technology. As usual, these advantages are accompanied by disadvantages that should be carefully analyzed. If on the one hand cutting forces are reduced with increasing cutting speeds, on the other hand, the centrifugal forces affecting the tool are higher. Exposed to such high loads, there is a considerable risk of tool failure that embeds hazards for both machine and workers.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att undersöka om Mt Memotekniks produkter uppfyller ISO/IEC 11801:2 standarden, eller om de med hjälp av kondensatorer kan klara kraven för överhörningar. Vi har även jämfört deras produkter med AMP?s Keystone jack som redan klarar kraven för Cat 6 standarden. Memoteknik tillverkar en kretskortsprodukt som består av nätverksmoduler för Ethernet. Dessa kabelsystem skall uppfylla en viss standard för kategori 6.
