???Information Technology is an essential part of the society today, not least in large ???organisations dealing with sensitive information. An example of such an organisation is the Swedish Armed Forces which indeed is in the need of ways to ensure information security in their Information Technology systems. The means which is used is an authorisation and accreditation process.All Information Technology systems go through a life cycle which includes realisation, usage, development and liquidation. In the Swedish Armed Forces the lifecycle is an authorisation process.

Social workers in this study describes various experiences of the assessments of interventions for children and adolescents. Social workers experience of the many different situations where an assessment of best effort must be made on the basis of BBIC, which is the Social Services investigation records. To make this assessment, the Social workers need social assistance and support of their colleagues and manager. Knowledge mixed with experience is also an important part when it comes to being professional and not let emotions control that could otherwise be happened when the social worker meets and builds relationships with clients. Social workers are also those who will decide which achievement the client needs from the needs.

Inledning: Att skönhet och attraktivitet ger fördelar i livet har bekräftats i många studier. Tänderna är en bidragande faktor till hur människor bedömer varandra. Vita tänder föredras i många fall och missfärgade tänder är minst önskvärt. En studie visar att endast skillnader i tändernas utseende kan påverka hur vi uppfattar en annan människa och vackrare tänder kan få en person att uppfattas som mer intelligent och mer framgångsrik. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka om det finns någon skillnad i bedömningen av personlighetsdrag utifrån ett blekt, ett missfärgat och ett omanipulerat bett, samt jämföra resultatet mellan hur tandläkarstudenter i Sverige och Sri Lanka bedömer detta. Material och metod: Ett fotografi på en man och en kvinna manipulerades till tre olika utseenden: Blekt, omanipulerat och missfärgat. En enkät för att mäta karaktärsdrag utformades.

The report aims to investigate how well a certain type of affordable embedded single board computer can hold up against today's more expensive computers in a computer system by doing various tests on a system with the specified requirements. The system has a Raspberry Pi as the single board computer which task is to control a camera based on coordinates obtained from a server as well as capture and stream a video signal on a network.The researches were conducted to check how much network traffic a single-chip computer sent in different video formats and how much CPU utilization was required. Studies were also made to ensure the accuracy of the camera control. The researches have been experimental, where several tests have been performed and analyzed.The results show that a sufficiently good accuracy can be obtained from the camera steering unit, in which two different servos have been investigated. When the video format MJPEG and H.264 are used, the single-chip computer is able to transmit a video signal up to 1280x720 at 15 fps.

Förskolegården är ett aktuellt och intressant område inför vår kommande roll som förskollärare. Gården är en plats där vi kommer tillbringa stor del av vår framtid och därför vill vi få mer kunskap om detta ur pedagogers perspektiv.  Det vi fokuserat på är pedagogers uppfattningar och åsikter om förskolegården och detta kan vi koppla till begreppen intelligent action och learning by doing som är Deweys teorier. Dessa teorier handlar främst om upplevelser och erfarenheter vilket vi grundar vår studie på eftersom vi anser att man utvecklas hela livet och att det därför är viktigt att få vara med om olika händelser.    Genom att vi kopplar vår studie till upplevelser och erfarenheter intar vi ett sociokulturellt perspektiv som fokuserar på intresset för det individuella barnet och barnet i grupp.    Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka några förskolepedagogers uppfattningar beträffande utemiljön på gården samt observera vad det finns för material och vad som används av barnen. Frågeställningarna vi använt oss av är: Vad anser den intervjuade pedagogen om miljön på gården i dag? Vad är pedagogernas åsikter kring upplägget av gården? Vad för material finns på gården och vad används?    Metoderna vi använt oss av är intervju och observation på tre olika förskolor i mellansverige där vi intervjuat sex pedagoger och observerat på sex förskolegårdar.    Resultatet av intervjuerna och observationerna visar att i de flesta fall var pedagogerna nöjda med gårdarna eftersom att det ansågs finnas det mesta, exempelvis närheten till naturen där utbudet skiftar beroende på årstid och detta ger barnen möjlighet till olika upplevelser.

During the past few years an increased attention has been paid to environmental issues in the construction and property sector in Sweden. In order to simplify the work with these issues a Swedish environmental certification system for buildings called Miljöbyggnad has been developed. This thesis aims to investigate the opinion of a selected number of selected property owners of Miljöbyggnad. From that basis recommendations and actions for the future work with the system will be presented.The investigation has been conducted through personal interviews with five property owners. The main issues that the interviews have been based on are their purpose, experiences, perceived complications and future prospects in terms of certification using Miljöbyggnad.The system intends to be cost-effective, simple and to offer a relevant environmental assessment of buildings and the result from the report indicates that this is largely fulfilled.

Bakgrund: Investeringsbeslut är ett av de viktigaste besluten som tas av chefer i företag. Besluten grundar sig på investeringskalkyler, som ryms inom begreppet kapitalbudgetering. I företagsekonomisk litteratur beskrivs sällan samband mellan kapitalbudgetering och annan ekonomisk styrning, vilket innebär att det finns ett tomrum inom forskningsområdet. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur företag inom den svenska skogsindustrin utformar och använder kapitalbudgetar som beslutsunderlag samt utreda och förklara sambandet mellan kapitalbudgetering och annan ekonomisk styrning. Metod: I studien har kvalitativ metod och fallstudier använts.

The access to good sanitary facilities is an important factor that elevates the experienced living standard as it improves hygiene and reduces the transmission of deseases. The ratification of the millennium goals by 189 countries demonstrates that this is an important international issue. Together the countries have taken upon themselves that the proportion of the population that lacked access to sustainable safe drinking water and sanitary facilities in the year 2000 will have been reduced by half by the year 2015. In Peru, the construction of sewage pipe networks to transport the sewage out of the direct human environment is progressing. The safety and sustainability of these systems can be questioned, since in Peru the sewage seldom receive any treatment before being emitted to a recipient. This is taking place in Picota and sorrunding villages as well. In the last 25 years several systems implementing small-scale onsite treatment have been introduced throughout Latin America in an attempt to give more people access to sustainable and safe sanitary facilities, reducing water consumption and taking advantage of the agricultural values of the sewage fractions while protecting the environment from its negative impact. In this study three different sanitary systems and the effects of different population growths were compared.

My main purpose for this paper was to find out what the four teachers I interviewed thought about the design of their classroom and how they linked that to pedagogy, pupils learning and policy documents. I also wanted to find out if classroom design were something they discuss and reflects on in the college.My questions for this study were: What do some teachers who work in the early ages in the school think about the classroom design? Do these teachers link the classroom design to policy documents or pedagogy? Do these teachers consider classroom design to be something that should be discussed in the same way as other factors (for example teaching aids, resources etc.) within the college?My method was to make qualitative interviews with four teachers, analyze their answers and link them to my main theories and research in the area of the study. My main theories were multimodal communication, which means that there are several systems of signs in communication, which all have an essential function for the meaning of the communicated. It also means that learning happens both individually and socially and that school is a social construction, and that the system of opportunities and boundaries in which it takes form is mediated within our multimodal systems.

Målsättningen för projektet var att ta fram en miljövänlig, innovativ lösning på ett skyltsystem för källsorteringsstationer i kontorsmiljö åt Eko Systems AB. Skyltlösningen som idag används på producenten Eko Systems sorteringsmoduler fungerar väl hos användarna men både inköpare och producent ser brister i bl.a. lagerhållning, miljöanpassning, användarvänlighet och kundanpassning, samt i hanteringen av den mängd olika skyltar som producenten måste tillhandahålla. Arbetet resulterade i att ett nytt helhetskoncept för en skylt med utbytbar information togs fram. Konceptet uppfyller producentens höga krav på att vara miljövänlig och nytänkande, med en attraktiv design anpassad till företagets nuvarande produkter.

The report also explores how qualified personal working with HVAC view and handles system control.In order to meet the requirements in energy efficiency and a comfortable indoor climate control regulation is a prerequisite. With optimized increased complexity of the climate systems, it becomes more challenging to control the system and the risk of unstable control increases. No previous studies about what affect an unstable system can have on energy use and thermal comfort have been found.The report is based on several tests were the controlling variable has been increased until the system becomes unstable. Two different types of unstable systems have been investigated.

Discharge of inadequately treated waste water containing nutrients such as phosphorus and nitrogen as well as organic matter and bacteria is associated with a risk of eutrophication and contamination. The Swedish government has decided upon several Environmental Quality Objectives aiming to reduce the emissions of nutrients to water bodies.In Sweden, there are between 675 000 to 1 000 000 on-site sewage systems. Recent studies have shown that the function of small sewage treatment plants is in many cases insufficient. To prevent this regular service and supervision by a professional is needed. The focus of this study are small sewage treatment plants which use a technique where mechanical, chemical and/or biological reduction of pollutants is being used in the same facility to reduce nutrients in household wastewater.The aim of the study is to investigate how different municipalities ensure that small sewage treatment plants fulfill the requirements and reduce pollutants as efficient as the manufacturers claim.

Hur vi uppfattar vår omgivning påverkas av alla våra fem sinnen, där denna uppsats tar sin utgångspunkt i hörseln och det vi hör. Utifrån en litteraturstudie och egna reflektioner har ljuds betydelse och hur det påverkar oss i det dagliga livet undersökts. Syftet har varit att öka förståelsen för vad ljud betyder för vårt välbefinnande och hur vi som landskapsarkitekter kan ha ljudet i åtanke när vi gestaltar utemiljön. Ljud är mer än den fysiska ljudvågen. Det kan ge oss information om vår omgivning, spegla rörelser, underlätta orienterbarheten och vara en del av hur vi uppfattar rumslighet. Vi hör hela tiden, men lyssnar inte alltid medvetet.

The thesis examines the view of reality as expressed in the subject structure of the web directory Open Directory Project. This is analyzed in comparison with library classification systems, regarded as products of the modern library movement. The question is raised whether the world view of the directory, in contrast to the modern classification systems, can be seen as an expression of postmodernity. Postmodernity is then understood as a radical critique of the modern belief in neutral science and technology as ways of objectively describing the universe of knowledge. The theoretical and methodological approach adopted is borrowed from a poststructuralist reading of Michel Foucault's archaeology and sociologically coloured classification research.
