Det talas mycket om ?en skola för alla? i dagens samhälle och att alla barn ska bli integrerade i den allmänna skolan. Det ska göras individuella utredningar för att säkerställa barns trygghet och göra dem delaktiga i den nya miljön i den ordinarie skolan, detta gäller även för barn i behov av särskilt stöd. Syftet med den här studien är att ta reda på mer om de termer som ofta nämns i diskussionen kring ?en skola för alla? och hur de används och beskrivs i några betydande skoldokument.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att få en djupare förståelse kring hur aktiva pedagoger arbetar kring de flerspråkiga barnen i förskolan. De forskningsfrågor jag ställer är: Hur blir dessa barn integrerade i den svenska förskolan och vilka möjligheter har de till att utveckla sitt modersmål? Hur ser arbetet kring de flerspråkiga barnen ut? För att få denna förståelse har en kvalitativ intervjustudie med sex pedagoger inom olika förskolor genomförts.Studien utgår från den aktuella Läroplanen för förskolan och ett sociokulturellt perspektiv där språket lärs i ett samspel med andra. Resultatet av intervjuerna och studier visade att barn lär sig språket i ett samspel med barn och vuxna. Pedagogerna jobbar aktivt med att benämna och vara tydliga i sitt språk, men även kroppsspråk och bilder spelar en viktig roll.

The study's aim is to create an understanding for the question why Sweden in 1921chose to create its own classification system for public libraries instead of adapting e.g.the Dewey-system which - at this time - was internationally we11 spread. It examines thesocial changes which proceeded the creation of the Swedish Library Association (SLA)in 1915 and discusses in depth the work of the committee appointed by SLA to createthe classification system. Special interest is also given to the relation between SLACSand the Dewey-system.The study shows that the main influence on the codttee's work was the formerSwedish tradition of classification practice. The Dewey-system was seen as inappropriateto adapt in the Swedish libraries because of the vast changes that wouldhave to be done, and the fact that the decimal notation was practically unused in anylibraries in Sweden.From a methodological point of view, the study tries to apply a critical hermeneuticalapproach as developed by Paul Ricoeur.The study contains an extended English summary..

I dagens hårda konkurrenssituation krävs det mer och mer av företags informations-system. Detta gör att fler och fler företag väljer att implementera ett integrerat affärs-system. Integreringen gör att företag får en enhetlig systemmiljö för hela företagets informationsbehandling. Implementeringen är dock en kostsam och tidskrävande process (Ekstrand, 1998). Mitt arbete behandlar frågeställningarna om varför företag väljer att implementera ett affärssystem, hur implementeringen förlöpte samt hur affärssystemet fungerar när implementeringen är färdig.Bland de företag jag vände mig till så var den främsta anledningen till att företag installerar ett affärssystem att systemen är omfattande och integrerade.Jag kom även till slutsatsen att det nästan är omöjligt att genomföra en implementering av ett affärssystem helt smärtfritt.

The aim of this essay is to examine fan culture?s role in Swedish public libraries. I have interviewed, via email, six librarians who encounter and use fan culture in their daily work. The theoretical elements of my essay are based on a modified set of theories by Dorte Skot-Hansen that identifies six ideal types of cultural political rationalities. My study reveals that fan culture is used in Swedish libraries as a tool in increasing user participation in library activities.

This master thesis concerns the relationship the librarianhas to the libraries classification system. The system itselfis made by librarians for librarians and is only used bylibrarians. This raises the question of how the librariansrelate to their own system to create order. The empiricalmaterial consists of five in-depth interviews with librarians.Two theoretical approaches were used in the analysis of thematerial with one focus on the librarian?s professional rolland the other on the postmodern theories about humansneed for order.

Denna rapport presenterar det examensarbete som har gjorts i samarbete med företaget SMÅA AB. Syftet med arbetet är att öka kunskapen, för företaget, om solceller ur en teknisk och ekonomisk synpunkt då man väljer att integrera dessa i byggnadsskalet. Viktiga frågor som har tagits upp innefattar lönsamhet vid användning av solceller, möjligheter att integrera solceller samt hur tekniken ser ut idag och hur den kan utvecklas i framtiden. Dessa kunskaper har sedan applicerats på ett planerat flerbostadshus under resultatet. I lösningsförslaget har solceller blivit integrerade i tak och balkongräcken, där olika typer av solceller används baserad på dess respektive egenskaper som är bäst anpassade för ändamålet. Ämnesområden som berörs är energi, solceller, byggnadsintegrering samt ekonomi.

Syfte med arbetet är att undersöka hur lärare, i de tidigare åldrarna, arbetar med skönlitteratur och elevnära texter. Vi har undersöka hur lärare väljer texter till eleverna och vilket samarbete de har med bibliotek och bibliotekarie för att finna passande litteratur. Vi ville också ta reda på vilket syfte lärare har när de använder skönlitteratur i sin undervisning.  Undersökningen bygger på intervjuer som har genomförts med lärare och sedan kategoriserats utefter de svar vi fått. I resultatet kommer vi fram till att det både finns möjligheter och en del hinder när lärare ska arbeta med skönlitteratur. Elevers eget intresse, hemmiljö, samt vilka resurser som finns till hand har betydelse för lärarens arbete.

Detta arbete undersöker möjligheterna med att simulera mikrovågor i ett slutet system. Systemet implementeras med en redan befintlig teknik kallad ray tracing. Ray tracing är en ljussättningsteknik som går ut på att simulera fotoners rörelse mellan ljuskälla och betraktare i en miljö man önskar ljussätta, och sedan belysa de områden som blir träffade för att på detta vis rendera en bild. Fotoner och mikrovågor har egenskaper som liknar varandra då de båda är elektromagnetism med olika våglängder. Ray tracing är en krävande algoritm då många uträkningar för varje foton måste utföras varje uppdatering.

There is a lack of published material regarding designing graphical user interfaces of so called integrated video uploading services. The term integrated video uploading services refers to homepages that do not have video uploading as its primary purpose but which still offers that service to its visitors. The aim of this thesis was to improve the amount of published material about designing graphical user interfaces for integrated video uploading services. This was done by performing a literature study to find general design guidelines which can be applied to design of integrated video uploading services. Thereafter the functionality and design of dedicated video uploading services was analyzed.

The subject of this paper is the library job market in Sweden 1975-1995. Job advertisementsin the periodical of DIK Association (the Swedish federation for occupational groups thatworks with documentation, information and culture) have been studied.1975, 1980, 1985, 1990 and 1995 there were 2 170 advertisements of situations for librarians.They have been examined with focus on the following:situation description:qualifications requested:? type of library? size of municipality?county? hours per week? duration? designation? tasks? education? knowledge of languages? knowledge of specific subjects? knowledge of computers? experience? driving licence, carStatistics have been made. The figures of the five years have been compared to give a pictureof the development.The results have also been compared with what has been written about the changes that arehappening on the labour market in general, and similarities and differences have been pointedat..

The object of this master thesis is to question why the sheet music heldby libraries is not used more than it is. I have mainly studied the inc idenceof any cooperation between the music schools and libraries,whether there has been consultation on the purchase of sheet musicand whether the music schools borrowed sheet music from the libraries.For the thesis qualitative methods were used in the form of interviewswith ten leaders in music or cultural schools in Sweden. The mainstudy has been focused on the library and music school in Vänersborg.To compare my results and draw conclusions I have used the work ofSanna Taljas: Music, Culture and the Library: an analysis of Discourses.The result of the study showed that there is very little cooperation betweenthe library section for music and the music school. The greatestinterest for cooperation appears to come from the library personnel.Both the library and the music school personnel claim insufficient timeand money for their lack of cooperation..

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate if the mobile library has a similar role as the public library. To study this further we intend to examine the value and function of the mobile library. Answers are sought to the following questions: Can the mobile library be seen as a public library in a smaller scale? How do the users experience the value and function of the mobile library? What does the library staff think of the value and function of the mobile library for the users? What would the consequences be if the service of the mobile libraries would not exist? The method used was qualitative interviews. The groups of respondents are mobile library users and library staff.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine adults? fictionreading habits. The focus is finding out what differencesexist between men and women to study the significance offiction to readers. The study is based on a questionnairesurvey with men and women coming in to a public library.We used Sten Furhammar?s reading dimensions andcategories to describe the importance of the respondentsreading experience and describe the ways that men andwomen read.Our result shows that the genres men and women prefer arenovels, detective stories/thrillers and biographies.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine whether there exists a hegemonic relationship between librarians and users of libraries with a focus on the librarians point of view. The future of movies in the library is also going to be examined. Qualitative interviews were conducted and were examined for signs of hegemony and habitus according to the respective theories. The results of these interviews showed that librarians were in favor of user suggestions to improve the libraries collection. We found that there exists a hegemonic relationship in the libraries, but that it was subliminal and unwanted.
