This paper is a degree project on the C-level, 15 points at University West, Department of Business and IT dept. Informatics. This study is about agile methodology and its impact on IT projects. Requirements management is a process within an IT project, where customer has certain requirements that must be met by an IT system. The difference between the traditional and agile development is in the requirements management process and it can cause problems in a project.

Resource-based learning or problem-oriented learning are teaching methods that are becoming more and more common in schools today. In order to make these teaching methods work there is a demand to make students information literate. The aim of this thesis is to find out how six teachers at six senior high schools apprehend their professional role of seeking, preparing and developing the course in history of literature. I have used phenomenography which is both a set of theoretical assumptions and a methodology. This means that by doing a limited number of qualitative interviews one is able to describe the variations of the conceptions that have emerged.

Inhiberingsförmåga, arbetsminne och verbal förmåga testades hos 25 treåringar i syfte att analysera barnens förmåga till inhibering. Tre instrument användes; inhiberingsuppgiften Less is More (en konkret del och en symbolisk del), arbetsminnesuppgiften Mister Peanut samt, för att testa verbal förmåga; deltestet ordigenkänning från WPPSI-III. Hypotesen var att inhiberingsförmåga skulle korrelera med arbetsminneskapacitet. Resultaten visade att ingen skillnad fanns i barnens resultat i det konkreta respektive symboliska deltestet. Arbetsminneskapacitet, liksom verbal förmåga korrelerade med resultaten i den konkreta uppgiften.

Efter införandet av de internationella redovisningsstandarderna år 2005 vars syfte är att tillfredställa behovet av jämförbarhet och harmonisering bland företag, har många förändringar skett. Förändringarna innebär att den nya redovisningspraxisen har blivit obligatorisk för de svenska företagen att följa. I och med att företag bedriver utlandshandel bidrar detta till valutarisk, något som företag måste handskas med. Ett behov av att hantera dessa risker står i fokus bland företagens verksamheter och är även något som uppmärksammas bland företag, de finansiella rapporternas användare samt investerare. För att kunna minimera/eliminera valutakursrisker är finansiella instrument de främsta redskapen.

Användning av gamla informationssystem (IS) innebär problem i form av underhållningskostnader, utbyggnadsproblem och dålig interaktion med anställda (Bisbal, Lawless, Wu & Grimson 1999).Problemen leder till att företag vill byta ut sina gamla IS mot nya. I detta arbete behandlas migration, det vill säga då all funktionalitet från ett gammalt IS ska överföras till ett nytt (Bisbal m.fl, 1999).Arbetet syftar till att skräddarsy en befintlig migrationsmetod så att en generell migrationsmetod blir unik och kan användas till just det användarfall som åsyftas i arbetet. Den migrationsmetod som skräddarsyddes var The Butterfly Methodology. Genom att följa de faser och aktiviteter som migrationsmetoden innehåller erhölls ett antal resultat som initierade en migrationsprocess.De slutsatser som arbetet kom fram till var att genom att skräddarsy en migrationsmetod kunde en generell arbetsprocess göras unik så att den passade det användarfall som tas upp i arbetet. Migrationsmetoden innehöll även ett antal faser och aktiviteter som utgjorde stöd vid migrationsprocessen.

Background: Relationships are really important for companies in order to becompetitive today and in these relationships is it important to feel trust to the other companies. There is therefore necessary to find out how companies work to create trust between themselves and their customers.Purpose: The purpose of this report is to examine and explain how staffing companies work to build trust in their relationships with B2B clients through examination of the conceptual model, creating a theoretical contribution.Research question: How do recruiters at staffing companies work to create trust between themselves and the customer?Methodology: The study adopted a quality research method with a deductive approach where the focus wasg on describing and analyzing. The data was collected primarily through semi-­?structured interviews.Research findings: Through the study?s interviews and their results is it possible to see that staffing companies in Växjö is working with trust.

Denna uppsats undersöker om det finns något samband mellan vilken typ av företagskultur ett systemutvecklingsföretag har och till vilken omfattning de jobbar med användarmedverkan. I uppsatsen presenteras begreppen användarmedverkan och företagskultur. Intervju- och enkätundersökningar har genomförts för att belysa företagens företagskulturer samt hur de arbetar med användarmedverkan. Intervjuerna och enkäterna ligger som grund för studien och dessa visar att det finns ett samband mellan omfattningen av användarmedverkan och ett företags företagskultur, men dock enbart sett utifrån företagens vilja och ambitioner att jobba på detta sätt. Något samband mellan hur företagen verkligen jobbar med användarmedverkan sett till deras företagskultur har inte kunnat bekräftas..

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence underlying factors have in connection to the internationalization of Born Global firms. Methodology: This study has a qualitative approach in which data is obtained mainly through interviews and secondary data which consists previous theories about the internationalization in small and medium sized firms and recent theories that entitle these firms as Born Global. Conclusion: Based on the existing theories and the qualitative data, we have concluded that the underlying factors for the Born Global firm?s internationalization are abilities and opportunities to create insidership in relevant networks. The most crucial underlying factors for Born Global firm?s internationalization are the ability to create processes to break old patterns of thoughts and the ability to ally with right partners. .

In today's society it is becoming more and more important with direct marketing. Some of the direct marketing is done through e-mail, in which companies see an easy way to advertise himself. I did this thesis work at WebDoc Systems. They have a product that creates web documents directly in your browser, also called CMS. The CMS has a module for sending mass e-mail, but this module does not function properly and WebDoc Systems customers are dissatisfied with that part of the product.

Uppsatsen behandlar det finansiella instrumentet Contract for Differences (CFD) i förhållande till främst flaggnings- och budpliktsreglerna och sekundärt i förhållande till reglerna om otillbörlig marknadspåverkan. Flaggningsreglerna föreskriver en plikt att informera marknaden då man ökar eller minskar sitt aktieinnehav i ett noterat bolag över vissa gränsvärden, antingen vad gäller rösträtter eller andel av samtliga aktier i bolaget. Härigenom främjas transparensen på marknaden. Budplikt innebär en skyldighet att rikta förvärvserbjudande till samtliga aktieägare i ett noterat bolag när man uppnår 30 procent eller mer av det totala röstetalet i ett noterat bolag. Budplikten är betydligt mer ingripande än flaggningsplikten.

Purpose: To examine if the Stockholm Stock Exchange is an efficient market. Limitations: The efficiency is tested solely through the chosen portfolio strategies: low Price-Earnings ratio, low Book-to-market ratio and low stock prices.

Arcoma is a company that develops and manufactures X-ray equipment for hospitals. One of the most crucial components is the digital detector. Due to the high cost it is made removable so it could be transferred and used in other X-ray apparatus. The detector is placed in a so called detector holder. The current detector has a rectangular shape which sometimes requires a 90 degree rotation to match the shape of the patient.

This report aims at giving you as a reader a basic knowledge in measurement techniques used in the road/land construction and witch instrument and methods that is commonly used. It also tries to shed light on the problem with unfinished or incomplete blueprints, which cause additional work performed by the surveyor. This report is written in collaboration with PEAB Umeå whom has given insight in their work.The goal of this report is to examine what kind of work surveyors has to perform on blueprints delivered by a technical consultant. The reader of this report gets a run-through of the different theoretical measurement techniques used today and a short explanation of different measuring instruments used by surveyors in their day to day work. Computer programs used in the field of construction are briefly explained, and some of the most common file extensions used, for example dwg and Land-xml.The report concludes in a questionnaire that was sent out to surveyors employed by PEAB.

he purpose of this master thesis is to learn more about the ancient Alexandrian Library. The method used in this thesis is methodology of history, especially a critical attitude when it comes to evaluating the ancient texts. I put forward three questions to which I desire to find answers. First: What do the sources from Antiquity tell about the Alexandrian library? Second: How do modern writers of books on the subject use these sources? Thirdly: I look into the possible historical and cultural reasons that the first of the Ptolemaic kings could have had for establishing the Mouseion and the Library of Alexandria.
