Det övergripande syftet med studien var att undersöka samband mellan instrument och lärande i Gehörs- och musiklära på gymnasiets estetiska program. Syftet delades in i följande två frågeställningar: Hur tänker och agerar elever utifrån sitt instrument i ämnet Gehörs- musiklära? Hur förhåller sig lärare i sin undervisning till hur elever tänker och agerar utifrån sitt instrument i ämnet Gehörs- och musiklära? Två lärare och fem elever från två olika skolor intervjuades. Ett gehörstest genomfördes med klasserna som ett underlag för intervjuerna med eleverna. Intervjuerna skrevs ut och lästes igenom för att utefter de mönster som kunde skönjas ur texterna struktureras, tolkas i kategorier.

The findings in this case study are mainly based on material collected during a field trip with a fellow student to Laos in February-March 2005, which was sponsored by Sida through a Minor Field Study scholarship. The original interest was to study a political aid project (Governance and Administrative Reform Project Luang Prabang, GPAR LP) in a country like Laos with very complex preconditions such as one-party polity. In Laos my interest in evaluation of political aid grew mainly because I found out that the two donors in the project, Sida and the UNDP, had reached different conclusions in their respective evaluations of the project.The main interest in this thesis has been to study how donors have evaluated a political aid project. The study shows that Sida and UNDP used, what in the literature usually is referred to as, Conventional evaluation as methodology when they conducted their evaluations of GPAR LP. The study also shows that the main reason for the different points of view that are expressed in the evaluations depend on a lack of dialogue and consensus, regarding for the project crucial concepts, rather than choice of evaluation methodology.

Bakgrund: Ett sätt att minska risker vid handel med finansiella instrument är att bygga portföljer. För att kunna hantera portföljer med olika finansiella instrument och valutor samt kunna hantera flera portföljer samtidigt, används portföljhanteringssystem. Studenter kan genom att använda sig av sådana system lära sig hur finansiella marknader fungerar. Kraven på ett portföljhanteringssystem är inte desamma som kraven på ett kommersiellt system och därför finns det ett behov att utveckla en modell för denna kontext.Syfte: Denna uppsats ämnar bygga en modell i PowerPlus Pro som studenter kan använda sig av för att befästa sina kunskaper och öka sin förståelse för hur finansiella instrument fungerar.Metod: För att bygga modellen har kvalitativ metod används och för att studera hur portföljhanteringssystem ska byggas och anpassas efter studenters behov har kvalitativa intervjuer använts.Slutsatser: Vår modell uppfyller de krav som ställts på den och är anpassad för undervisning på ett universitet genom att den är användarvänlig och pedagogiskt uppbyggd. Modellen lämpar sig inte för användning av markadsaktörer.     .

The development of IT systems is usually accomplished by some form of system development methodology. It can be performed as the waterfall method, where each phase is completed before the next begins. One of the reasons to follow a development methodology is that the process is more structured, faster and that the product will have higher quality. One risk of not using a system development approach is that the code can be unstructured and difficult to maintain.This paper describes an alternative method in which the development occurred without the use of any system development methodology. This has been possible because there was a clear goal of the program that should be developed.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar ett konstnärligt projekt där fem låtar inom rockgenren skrivits och spelats in av en och samma person. Syftet är att utvecklas på sitt huvudinstrument, i det här fallet trumset, genom att spela in låtarna och spela samtliga instrument själv. Undersökningen fokuserar på varför man kan ha nytta av att bemästra andra instrument för att bättre förstå sitt eget. Loggbok har förts under hela processen för att kunna kartlägga vad som lett fram till nya upptäckter och insikter.Många duktiga musiker har det gemensamt att de bemästrar fler än ett instrument. Att gå in i de andra ensemblemusikernas roller ger individen en bredare koll på helheten.

The aim of this study was to investigate patients? experiences of pain during dental hygienist treatment and scaling. The study is based on a questionnaire and includes 129 patients, from four dental clinics in Skåne, Sweden. The questionnaire consisted of ten questions with a Visual Analogue Scale as a main question. Questions about age, gender and dental anxiety were also included.

The background to this thesis is the impact of information technology on libraries and librarywork. If information technology causes changes in the tasks and work of libraries, thenlibrary organisations should also change. It is important to engage and inform the staff if suchchanges are to succeed. This thesis investigates the notions about library tasks and librarywork among eight "middle-managers" at Linkopings universitetsbibliotek.The investigation is based on interviews and then analysed with Soft Systems Methodology(SSM). By identifying the "Weltanschauung" of the staff, the thesis tries to create logicallydesirable and culturally feasible models of systems relevant to the situation at Linkopingsuniversitetsbibliotek.

The water tower in Uppsala city forest was built in the late 1950's in what is now a nature reserve. The unique place was supposed to be visited by people, which is currently not the situation. This bachelor thesis aimed to perform an analysis and make a design proposal for the environment surrounding the water tower. The analysis was performed using the methodology previously described by architect Arne Branzell. The methodology focuses on how a space is perceived by a person moving through it.

AbstractThe aim: The aim of the study was to describe what women are most satisfied with in maternity care and if women´s childbirth experiences can be described by means of the QPP-I, who contains 32 statements related to maternity care. Design: The study is part of a national cross-sectional study which lasted for two weeks in Sweden in 2007. This paper analyzes one of the two questions with open answers, which reads: "What was the best with maternity care??. Results: The results showed that out of a total of 735 responses 717 could be placed in the existing instrument QPP-I.

The purpose of this project has been to cut production costs for the fascia panels ofGetinge?s largest autoclaves. The cost for the stainless steel plates currently used is veryhigh. An alternative material solution could cut costs significantly.In addition, improvements have been made to the instrument tower which is a central partof the fascia panel. Android is one of the leading software platforms for the new generation of smartphones. The market for applications is growing rapidly. So to be able to compete with such large competition the applications need a solid and stable development methodology. Therefore have we created an application based on a test-driven development, to investigate if the methodology was applicable on the Android platform. The conclusion is that Android?s suitability for test-driven development is dependent on the application that is being developed and if difficulties concerning the testing framework can be avoided.

För noterade bolag med räkenskapsår som börjar 1 januari 2007 är den nya standarden obligatorisk. Detta innebär att även ickefinansiella företag måste tillämpa den.Studien inriktar sig på att analysera hur svenska industriföretag har tillämpat de nya kraven på redovisning som IFRS 7 ställer på upplysningarna för kredit-, likviditets- samt marknadsrisk. Data har inhämtats från 2007 års årsredovisningar och författarna avser att utgå från hur de kvalitativa egenskaperna relevans, begriplighet, tillförlitlighet och jämförbarhet påverkas av införandet.Författarna kommer i slutsatserna fram till att de studerade industriföretagen lever upp till de högre kraven på upplysningar som behandlar deras finansiella instrument, men att skillnader i omfattning och upplägg förekommer. De kvalitativa egenskaperna påverkas övervägande positivt.

Fas 1 behandlar klassificering och värdering, fas 2 behandlar nedskrivningar och fas 3 behandlar säkringsredovisning. Denna uppsats behandlar endast fas 2. Både redovisare, revisorer och användare av finansiella rapporter anser standarden för finansiella instrument vara komplex.

This is a study in my preparations for my final concert at the Academy of Music and Drama- ?????????? University. My aim is to create a plan and a schedule for my practising methods and other preparations so I will be able to perform at the top of my ability.I have studied and chosen a collection of methods that will help me prepare for my concert and at the same time develop my oboe playing. As a result, I have found an effective way for me to prepare technically on my instrument. I have also learnt and developed methods in how to focus and mentally prepare for a performance..

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.
