I mitt examensarbete har jag valt att försöka undersöka i vilken utsträckning det i en hemmastudio är möjligt att återskapa ett sound från en professionell inspelningsstudio. Denna fråga är intressant för mig då jag fastnade för hur en produktion lät i ljudbilden. Dels instrumentuppsättningen och deras rytmisering men främst soundet på helheten i mixen. Det kändes luftigt, stort och brett i lyssningsspektrat trots att det inte var så mycket instrument. Jag har alltid velat utveckla min förmåga att skapa och producera musik men har inte tillgång till så mycket kvalitativ utrustning.

Survey´s purpose is to illustrate why and how the process happened, when the seferades had to move from Spain in the last years of 15th century to the Ottoman Empire and how the authors have discussed this. How the seferades were treated by the Turks and the sultan, how teh Jews taught the people in the empire, to use the new innovations. The different results showed that the ottomans also gave great chances to the Jews and they became a powerful group of the palace in the empire.The results also showed that the authors are divided into two groups, one group defending the sultans act, and the others are not. The main reason for the ottomans to open their doors for the seferades was to take advantage of their konwledge. The reason for the attack by the western authors on the sultan´s decisions, are more complex and needs to be explained.

This study is based on the notion that the most widely cited and used instrument for assessing volunteer motivations, the Volunteer Function Inventory (VFI), might not be sufficient in its aspiration to aid, streamline and benefit the recruitment and retention process within volunteer organizations. Understanding volunteers? motivation is a crucial component in the process of securing future volunteer engagement in a world where their efforts are desperately needed.This study aims to explain motives and motivation behind volunteer efforts in extreme situations as well as to examine the dependability of the theoretical framework in relation to the forthcoming result, based on the following research questions:What motivated Swedish medical personnel to volunteer during the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa?How could the motives and motivation of Swedish medical personnel be categorized in accordance with the Volunteer Function Inventory (VFI)?Is the Volunteer Function Inventory (VFI) a sufficient tool for analyzing the motives and motivation of Swedish medical personnel in the given case?The presented research questions will be answer through a qualitative theory-consuming study, based mainly on interviews. The interviews are, however, complimented by various written sources in the field of research.The result and subsequent analysis confirms the authors? notion on the VFI and highlights certain deficits in the tool?s execution and its succeeding result.

Background: Internet is a new phenomenon; small companies have only used Internet a couple of years. Internet created a lot of new possibilities for the companies. Internet is a new marketing and communication channel for the company. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine how small companies can use Internet as a strategic tool. Student recruitment? - Three teachers? thoughts concerning children's first experiences in municipal arts and music schools. The aim of this thesis is to explore three teacher' experiences of recruitment of students to arts and music schools. The thesis includes thoughts about how teachers can inspire students and why the orchestral string bass is an infrequent choice of instrument to study. I have examined the issues through a qualitative study where I have interviewed three licensed string bass teachers of different ages and backgrounds.

Examensarbetet är det avslutande momentet på civilingenjörsutbildningen Ergonomisk Design och Produktion, med inriktning industriell design. Projektet genomförs vid Nord West Yachts AB, Orust, som bygger exklusiva motorbåtar från 33 till 56 fot. Utgångspunkten för projektet är att skapa förbättringar kring förarmiljön i den senaste båtmodellen Nord West 420, både i coupén och på flybridge. Företagets önskan med projektet är att vidareutveckla instrumentpanelen samt förarplatsen, vilket ska leda till en attraktivare och säkrare båt genom ett estetiskt och ergonomiskt tänkande. Under projektets gång används metoden systematisk problemlösning.

The objective of the study is to examine whether the experience from language courses abroad has had any impact on the career choices for four individuals. Based on a qualitative research methodology, four semi-structured interviews have been executed. The two research questions have been answered by letting four people recount their experiences from language courses abroad linked to their self-images and career choices. The outcome is that the experiences from the language courses contributed to a more or less altered self-image. Most of all, the interpersonal abilities were fostered, which led to the formation of a self-image characterized by improved confidence in social settings.

Konvergerande ekonomier har gett upphov till nya behov såsom ett internationellt standardiserat redovisningssystem. I EU gäller sedan den första januari 2005 för noterade företag International Accounting Standards Boards (IASBs) system kallat IFRS. Detta regelsystem styr bland annat vilken information som företag ska lämna kring sina finansiella instrument. Just dessa regler är dock i en utvecklingsfas, vilket ledit till att företag för 2005 års årsredovisningar fått välja mellan att redovisa efter den äldre standarden IAS 32 eller den nyare vid namn IFRS 7. Svenska storbanker har genomgående valt att redovisa efter den nyare standarden.Trots att införandet av IFRS 7 till stor del är motiverat av en strävan efter att öka användares förståelse för hur finansiella instrument påverka företags exponering för finansiella risker så varnas det för att 2005 års årsredovisningar inte alltid blir jämförbara, då bland annat på grund av den valfrihet som företag har.

The maintenance phase within software projects is typically very expensive in terms of resources. The activities of this phase are largely focused around some form of modification of program code. This leads one to consider if there are alternative methods of code production that results in code that allows for less costly modifications. This thesis has its basis in a subset of those concepts which research has shown to provide more flexible code. Once this subset is established, connections are made between the concepts within the subset and claims of benefits provided by the use of Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology.

We have two aims with this thesis. The first aim is to describe CFD as a financial instrument in detail by highlighting its potentials and disadvantages. The second aim is to try to find the optimal real margin for each of the underlying stocks.We have adopted an inductive approach, combined with a quantitative method. We have worked with data and tried to come up to conclusions from the results we got.The conclusion of our thesis is that it is optimal to enter a CFD-contract with own capital covering at least 20 % of the value of the contract..

The survey describes a number of risks that Swedish farming companies are exposed to. The risk areas covered by the survey are currency risks, price risks and financial risks. The survey further describes why these risks have a great impact on the future development of the farming companies. The survey highlights the interrelation between the risks and the measures which can be used to minimize the risks, so-called financial instruments. The aim of the survey is to put focus on above mentioned risks and describe how these risks can be reduced to prevent the Swedish farming industry from stagnating in the future. The survey is a secondary survey whereby existing knowledge about risks and risk management is applied to farming companies. The written information on price risks and hedging is primarily derived from foreign sources.
