Sweden recently changed the national regulation of chimney sweeping. This study has two purposes. The first purpose is to evaluate the effect of this reform to see if the new regulation has led to an effect in terms of increased chimney fires in single-family houses and for the wood-burning and oil-burning stoves, respectively. The second purpose is an updating of a previous study (Mattsson 1994) of analysis of society´s benefits and costs of different alternative sweeping frequencies for wood-burning and oil-burning stoves. This study also has a secondary purpose to examine the extent to which the local sweeping rules vary with climate conditions.  Mattsson, based on his results, proposed that the sweeping requirements for oil-burning stoves should be reduced from twice a year to once every second year and for wood-burning stoves the sweeping should be reduced from four times to once each year.

Purpose: The main purpose of our study is to explain how the disability management in the municipality of Karlskrona can design its balanced scorecard from a theoretical basis. The mission of the balanced scorecard is to improve the management control system. To achieve the main purpose we have to study the problems that exist with the current control system, which then becomes our second purpose.Method: Our study has a qualitative approach. The design of the study is a case study in which one case has been looked at. The empirical data is collected through interviews and documents. We have gathered our theory through scientific articles and literature.Results: The goals set by the board are unclear and hard to define.

Bakgrund:Om ett barn inte får sina grundläggande behov uppfyllda är det socialtjänstens ansvar att utreda huruvida barnet far illa eller kan komma att fara illa och om åtgärder behöver vidtas. De riskbedömningar som görs utgår främst från en klinisk metod och riskbedömningsinstrument används sällan. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa förutsättningar för den praktiska tillämpningen av riskbedömningsinstrument inom den svenska sociala barnavården. Metod: Studien hade en kvalitativ design och datainsamling skedde genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Deltagarna kom från tre olika kommuner och bestod av nio kvinnliga socialsekreterare som arbetade med barnavårdsutredningar.

The search terms used were; cholesterol level, beta-glucan, hypercholesterolemia, oat and barley.Selection criteria Articles, written in Swedish and English, on RCT-studies conducted on otherwise healthy adults with hypercholesterolemia (serum cholesterol >5,0 mmol/L) were included. The intervention product must naturally contain beta-glucan, and an equally product should be retailed in Swedish grocery stores. The control group needed to be supplied with a placebo product and the participants could not be on any lipid-lowering medication.

The law of preferential rights has, since the 70?s, given företagshypotek a high priority after a company has claimed bankruptcy. After the costs concerning the insolvent estate and the liens, företagshypotek has received full refund. The effect has been that the unprioritized creditors often have not recieved any of their claims after the bank have re-cieved theirs. Many countries have during the last decades deviated from this law and in 2003, Sweden decided to take the same path.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att utarbeta och prova EAS-T (Emotional Availability Scales ? Therapy), en manual för att mäta emotionell tillgänglighet mellan terapeut och patient i en psykoterapi. Arbetet ingår som en del i projektet LURIPP (Linköping University Relational and Interpersonal Psychotherapy Project).Våra frågeställningar var:* Kan man mäta den emotionella tillgängligheten i en psykoterapi med EAS-T?* Finns det någon korrelation mellan EAS-T och patientskattade processmått? För att svara på frågorna har vi arbetat med att modifiera EAS (Emotional Availability Scales), ett instrument som används för att mäta kvalitén på relationen mellan förälder och barn, så att den ska passa terapeut-patient-relationen. Vi har skattat videoinspelade sessioner av IPT-terapier (interpersonell psykoterapi) med hjälp av detta instrument.

Denna uppsats behandlar råvaruoptioner ur en spannmålsodlande lantbrukares perspektiv. Optionsinstrumentet grundar sig på finansiella terminer och syftar till att hantera råvarurisken som lantbrukare möts av till följd av svängningar på spannmålsmarknaden. Då dessa svängningar har blivit allt kraftigare de senaste åren motiveras ett instrument som möjliggör en säkring av värdet på lantbrukarens råvara allt mer.Optionsinstrumentet introducerades år 2007 av Handelsbanken, som idag är den enda aktören som erbjuder tjänsten på marknaden. Målet med denna uppsats är att tydliggöra begrepp gällande råvaruoptionshandel samt att lägga en kunskapsgrund för implementering av denna handel inom svenskt lantbruk. Utöver detta ämnar uppsatsen att tydliggöra hur optionshandel kan öka lönsamheten i det spannmålsodlande lantbruksföretaget.

This thesis deal with tick burden on roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) fawns, in relation to age, weight, hind foot length, and as well as to vegetation and habitat on bed sites. Roe deer fawns (N = 25) were captured from May 27 to June 27. Samples of ticks were collected and tick burden were estimated. Of all sampled ticks the nymphs and adults were Ixodes ricinus, while the larvae were not identified. 4.4 % of the sampled ticks were larvae, 55.0 % nymphs, 26.8 % adult females, and 13.8 % adult males.

This thesis is a cultural theoretical case study of the art project (O)önskad samhällsförbättring.Via an analysis of the project, that is based on theories of power, resistance and contemporaryurban development, it examines the construction of urban space, its impact on public art including the ability of art to initiate evolvement of the urban public space.The last decades art has plaid an important role in what is called the creative city; to become attractive nodal points of the global economy, larger cities increasingly invest in art,culture and creative industry. Simultaneously the urban public space is limited to activitiesand expressions of art that are presumed to create economic growth. This introduces animpression of what is allowed and what is not allowed, possible and not possible, wished andnot wished which, as a consequence, evolves the public space. The events during the artproject and the reactions that followed enlightened these limitations. This tells a story, not only about the structuring process of the local urban space, but also important changes that are created as a simultaneous effect at different levels in society, as well locally as globally.

Bakgrund: Smärta är en subjektiv upplevelse och därmed unik för den enskilde individen. Att hjälpa och vårda en patient med smärta kräver kunskaper och inlevelseförmåga hos vårdpersonalen. Sjuksköterskan har en viktig roll när det gäller bedömning och behandling av smärta. Efter bedömningen tar sjuksköterskan flera viktiga beslut som leder till både medicinska åtgärder och omvårdnadsåtgärder. Dokumentationen görs av sjuksköterskan och den skall bidra till patientens säkerhet.

Tanken med detta arbete var att analysera låtar av Bruce Springsteen för att bli bättre på att arrangera musik som honom. För att göra detta valde jag ut 23 av hans låtar och analyserade dem utifrån fem olika arrangeringselement hämtade ur boken The Mixing Engineer's Handbook. Resultatet blev att jag lärde mig mycket om hur man kan arrangera rockmusik och nya sätt att använda instrument. Dock skulle man nog behöva gräva betydligt djupare ner i låtarna för att få ut det där riktiga guldet som a?r kännetecknet för Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band..

Balanced Scorecard har utifrån vår synvinkel två olika användningssätt. Styrkortet kan oavsett användningssätt uppfylla ekonomistyrningens första två uppgifter. Däremot ser vi brister hos styrkortet som gör att det inte kan ses som problemlösande enligt vår definition. För att denna tredje uppgift skall kunna uppfyllas måste företagets ekonomistyrning ses som en helhet där Balanced Scorecard tillsammans med andra styrinstrument bildar ett styrpaket. Härigenom kan svagheter hos vissa instrument vägas upp av styrkor hos andra..

The milk production has developed rapidly the last years. The milk production per cow is increasing and the production units are larger with an increasing number of animals and a decreasing number of workers. Many milk producers invest in automatic milking systems (AM) to meet this change. In these systems the cows can voluntary decide milking frequency and usually the milking frequency are higher than two times per day. But how does the milking frequency effect the composition of the milk? The aim of the present study was to study the effect of milking frequency on the milk composition and the milk fat quality.

Predation is one of many factors that form the structure of the macroinvertebrate community in lakes, wetlands and watercourses. Earlier studies lack an examination concerning how fish- and waterfowl predation affect macroinvertebrates during shorter periods in the spring. I performed an exclosure study in the shallow eutrophic Lake Tåkern which is located in the western part of Östergötland County, Sweden. The experiment was performed during a three week period (1-21 April 2012) when the water temperature was low and the density of migrating diving ducks was high. The experimental cages used included three out of four different treatments; general predation (open cages), bird exclusion (net with mesh size 90*45mm) and no predation (net with mesh size 1*1mm).
