Syfte: Syftet för denna studie var att se om det var någon skillnad i den överrefraktion man får fram hos patienten när överrefraktionen genomförs i provbåge, foropter och autorefraktor. Undersökningen gick även ut på att se om det blev någon skillnad om överrefraktionen genomfördes monokulärt med ocklusion eller binokulärt med dimlins.Metod: I studien deltog 30 personer i åldrarna 19 till 42 år. Det var sammanlagt 13 lågmyoper, 3 högmyoper, 5 hyperoper och 9 emmetroper som deltog i undersökningarna. Av dessa var 8 personer inte linsbärare och blev tillpassade med linser utifrån k-värden och HVID för att få en så bra sits som möjligt på linserna. De andra deltagarna blev tillsagda att komma till undersökningen med linser ordinerade till dem av en leg.

During the migration season in 2013 a study on spawning migrating salmon and the effect of water flow on the behavior was conducted of the salmon at the Forshaga hydropower station in the River Klarälven. The River Klarälven with its nine hydropower plants on the Swedish side, constituting migration obstacles for the migrating salmon. Fortum Generation AB has together with the County Administrative Board restored a salmon trap at the lowermost hydropower station in Forshaga, aiming at making it possible for the salmon to swim into the trap, and thereafter be transported by truck past the power plants and then continue their journey to the spawning grounds on their own. Unfortunately, it is believed that the trap does not work as well as it should. In this study, I focused on salmon position in relation to water flow and if the number of salmon that swam into the fish trap differed between salmon with previous experience of the trap (experienced) and salmon without experience (unexperienced).

System based models of plants rely on descriptions and assigned functions of genes, and currently 50% of the genes in Arabidopsis thaliana has either no assigned function or a function based on homology only. Mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPK's) are key players in cell signalling and are conserved among eukaryotes, though their targets are highly diverse. A recent study has described a small Arabidopsis protein (80), without homology to any described protein, as a phosphorylation target of the MAPK's MPK3/6. Further work established ?-glucan phosphorylase (PHS) as interacting with 80 and described a delayed senescence phenotype for 80 knock-out plants.

Hip dysplasia is a common, inherited malformation of the coxofemoral joint that eventually leads to osteoarthrosis. Several breeds of dogs are affected and the prevalence varies between different breeds. As part of the effort to reduce the prevalence of hip dysplasia and select dogs suitable for breeding, radiological screening is performed by at least 12 months of age. Before the radiological examination the dog has to be chemically restrained, sedated or anesthetized. The sedation protocol used differs between veterinary clinics. The impact of sedation method of the screening result for hip dysplasia has been studied.

För relativt kort tid sedan, år 2006 började en omfattande reform BBIC? barnets behov i centrum spridas inom socialtjänsten i Sveriges kommuner. BBIC är ett system för handläggning och dokumentation, planering och uppföljning av insatser. Idag arbetar över hälften av Sveriges kommuner med BBIC och därmed berörs också dessa kommuners öppenvårdsverksamheter som arbetar utifrån biståndsgivna insatser.                      Den här studiens syfte har varit att ta reda på hur BBIC inverkar på den familjeterapeutiska insatsen inom socialtjänstens öppenvård i en kommun, genom att efterfråga några utredare och behandlares erfarenheter och åsikter. Studien försöker också svara på förutsättningar och möjligheter för BBIC att fungera som metodutvecklande instrument genom insatsen.

The Swedish building and property management sector are responsible for about 30 % of the total energy use. In order to take environmental consideration, different environmental assessment tools and standards are used. Miljo?byggnad, Svanen, FEBY12 and PHI are some of these. There has been increased interest to certify buildings and therefore it is of interest to evaluate the assessment of the energy field to see if relevant energy aspects are assessed.

In the late 20th century there has been some changes in the public sector. These changes are described as New Public Management. When ideas from the private market is transferred to the public sector, for example to regard citizens as cus-tomer. Central in this paper is the use of term customer in the Swedish public sec-tor. There are two questions in the paper; which possibilities has a disappointed customer to effect the public sector, and what may happen with democracy, the common good, when the citizen becomes a customer?To answer the questions I study two different cases, Svedala kommun and the tax department, Skatteverket.

This thesis analyzes the expected profitability in land based wind power plants. The expected profitability is calculated on the basis of a wind power project in Vartofta, Falköping. The information required to calculate the expected outcome is then concentrated to this project, which is in this thesis called project Näs. In project Näs they plan to build three wind power plants, with each an effect of 2 MWh. These wind power plants are very capital intensive investments with a long and uncertain payback time.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka fängelsereformsattityder i Sverige med syfte att utreda om dessa korrelerade med kön, politisk tillhörighet, ålder och urvalsgrupp. Detta utförs genom att replikera en tidigare amerikansk studie inom samma ämne. Resultaten från den svenska studien jämfördes även med den amerikanska. Urvalsgrupperna utgjordes av allmänheten(N=105), före-detta kriminella (N=48) och högskolestudenter vid Högskolan i Skövde (N=252). Respondenterna nåddes via en mailenkät.Resultaten visade att de svenska respondenterna hade mer positiva attityder gentemot fängelsereformer än deras amerikanska motparter.Före-detta kriminella var mer positivt inställda till fängelsereformer än studenter och allmänheten.

Vid kemisk massatillverkning finns behov av mättekniker som möjliggör ytterligare optimering av processen. Möjligheten att analysera svartlut med hjälp av aktiv akustisk spektrometri utreddes genom att ett online instrument konstruerdes och installerdes på ett pappersbruk. Analyser med multivariata metoder utfördes på resultaten. På grund av yttre omständigheter försenades arbetet, och ett tillräckligt dataunderlag för en definitiv slutsats erhölls ej. Among young adults and especially women, psychological issues are common phenomena in the society such as depression, anxiety and stress. Research has shown that physical activity can be a complement for anti-depressant medication. The aim of this review is to examine previous research to find out how physical activity can provide positive effects on overall mood state in particular young women's psychological health. The results of this review is that there are support in the literature of young women that physical activity may enhance mood in studies of depression and anxiety symptoms and small support for the effects on reducing stress. Physical activity with both high intensity and low intensity has shown to have positive effects on depression and anxiety, but the physical activity has to be regular for long-term effects.

Our work is based on a mathematics test which the students accomplished, interviews with student and teachers who are working on this program and the current literatures. The purposes of this work are to search the importance and the effect of the languages understanding in students learning of mathematic in the Individual high school curriculum. In total, sex students and three teachers took part in our study. Tow of the students is mother tongue language student and the remains are second language student. Our study should answer tow important questions:? Do the student in the Individual high school curriculum have the fundamental knowledge in mathematic?? How does the understanding of Swedish language effect in the understanding of the mathematic problems and in the students results in mathematic test?In order to answer those questions, the students have to complete a mathematic test that consists of four parts.

Ända sedan enhetsakten ingicks och möjliggjorde den inre marknaden med dess fyra friheter, fri rörlighet av arbetstagare, kapital, varor och tjänster, har den fria rörligheten utgjort en grundbult för EU:s samarbetsområden. EU har därför genom åren strävat efter att möjliggöra och undanröja potentiella hinder för den inre marknadens förverkligande. Målsättningen med att förverkliga den fria rörligheten har därför successivt infiltrerats i de rättsområden, där potentiella hinder kunnat skådas. I strävan efter att förverkliga den fria rörligheten fullt ut har EU utfärdat ett förslag på straffprocessrättsligt instrument, den europeiska utredningsordern. I dagsläget råder 28 olika straff- och straffrättssystem inom unionen, vilket den organiserade och gränsöverskridande brottsligheten utnyttjat till sin fördel.

SammanfattningMusiklärares Digitala Verktyg ? en studie om musiklärares användande av digitala verktyg i musikundervisning för funktionsnedsatta elever, av Tobias Hagström, är en studie inom ramen för Lärarprogrammet i ämnet musik vid Umeå universitet, Estetiska institutionen.Antal sidor 58.I denna undersökning intervjuar jag fem lärare på tre olika särskolor varav en kulturskola. Detta i syfte för att ta reda på hur informanterna använder sig av digitala verktyg i deras musikundervisning och få kunskaper om de digitala instrument som finns tillgängliga i musiksalen för funktionsnedsatta. Informanterna jag intervjuade har allt från ett års yrkeserfarenhet i ämnet till 34 års erfarenhet och det är endast två av dem som är utbildade musiklärare. Undersökningen är av kvalitativ art och består av semistrukturerade intervjuer.

The interest in the significance of public health for economic growth has increasedsteadily in recent years and a clarification of this connection may be of importance forthe status of public health. Aim: The aim of this literature based study is to describewhat previous research has shown in terms of the connection between public health andeconomic growth, focusing on high-income countries. Method: The study is based ontwelve scholarly articles retrieved from four scholarly databases. Result: The resultclarify that there is a positive long-term correlation between good public health andeconomic growth in high-income countries. Good health has a positive effect onproductivity, which leads to increased economic growth.
