The thesis presented in this report has been made on behalf of Scania and their basic frame design department with the subject to solve an implementation of a weight sensing system in the chassis. The system is supposed to be implemented in the seat springs, and the reason for this is that all the force will have to go through the weight sensing transducers. With all the force going through the transducers the weight sensing system will not be sensitive for the differences in tolerances from manufacturing. The transducers could be pre-calibrated to avoid a calibration of the whole vehicle after it?s completed from the manufacturing line.Weight sensing systems is today a reality in trucks with air springs.

Detta examensarbete på C-nivå har genomförts i samarbete med ÅF Infrastruktur AB, Borlänge och syftar till att simulera inomhusklimatet för valda delar inom nybyggnation Experium, Lindvallen samt med hjälp av simuleringarna beräkna effekt- och energibehovet för dimensionering av en fjärrvärmeInstallation alternativt Installation av elpanna samt kylcentral.ÅF Infrastruktur AB har uppdragen Installationsprojektering samt Installationsledning åt beställaren Skistar som skall upprätta Experium. Vilket skall resultera i en upplevelsearena på 17 000 m2 innehållande äventyrsbad, bowlinghall, eventyta samt restauranger mm.Författarens uppgift är att hjälpa ÅF Infrastruktur AB att klimatsimulera eventytan samt bowlinghallen på Experium med ett typiskt dygnsförlopp i beaktande. Då speciellt kolla på operativa temperaturer, relativa fuktigheter samt koldioxidnivån som uppstår i respektive lokal. För dessa simuleringar har datorprogrammet IDA Klimat & Energi 3,0 använts.Simuleringen av ett typiskt dygnsförlopp på eventytan med 3000 personer samtidigt i lokalen på en afterski eller konsert, samt efterföljande 1500 samtidigt sittande personer skall resultera i om projekterat flöde räcker för att upprätthålla ett behagligt inomhusklimat. Simuleringen visar på att 3000 personer på samma gång är i översta laget, 1500 personer är mera realistiskt.Simuleringen av bowlinghallen syftar till att utreda om den relativa fuktigheten som ett bowlinggolv kräver, normalt 40-50 %, upprätthålls utan befuktare under vinterhalvåret.

Detta projekt resulterade i ett säljstöd integrerat med MECADs Ettnoll FV till användning för säljare hos fjärrvärmedistributörer. Arbetet resulterade i en applikation där man manuellt kan rita in en kund i form av en polygon som täcker fastigheten i fråga och därtill ange attribut. Attributen består av information om kunden, dess intresse för fjärrvärme, avtal, bestämda datum för Installation samt uträckningar av den effekt kunden är i behov att få till sin fastighet via fjärrvärmen. Behovet av ett integrerat säljstöd finns hos alla företag som säljer och distribuerar fjärrvärme. Dock är det lite olika efterfrågat beroende på hur intresserade företagen är i att effektivisera sina system och på vilket system företaget använder för att hantera sina fjärrvärmenät.

SammanfattningFörtätning är idag ett högaktuellt begrepp då den svenska befolkningen beräknas passera tio miljoner invånare år 2025. Förtätning innebär att städer växer inåt istället för utåt som trenden länge varit i Sverige. Trollhättans Stad är inget undantag och kommunfullmäktige klubbade 2014-02-10 igenom en ny översiktsplan med tydliga mål om förtätning och en ökad hållbar utveckling. Översiktsplanen slår fast att staden skall öka med 14 000 invånare och att det då behövs byggas 7 000 nya bostäder till år 2030 för att klara behovet. Som svar på översiktsplanen har Eidar AB, som är Trollhättas allmännyttiga bostadsbolag, beslutat att fram till år 2030 producera minst 1 000 nya bostäder.  Syftet med undersökningen har varit att ta reda på vilka förutsättningar Eidar AB har till att förtätat tätorten Trollhättan utan att det behöver innebära att nyproducera bostäder på oanvänd mark, men även hur Eidar AB kan bidra till en hållbar utveckling av Trollhättan.

The most common way to treat wastewater in Sweden today is by a combination of an activated sludge process and a chemical treatment. These processes are not very energy efficient and may not be the most environmentally friendly. That is why it is interesting to evaluate new alternative methods to see if they can be less harmful to the environment and help to a lower resource consumption. New techniques are tested in a pilot Installation at Hammarby Sjöstad, Sjöstadsverket. To be able to evaluate these techniques in a wide perspective system analyses are conducted where different impacts can be considered, advantages and disadvantages in the systems.Five system structures for water treatment have been constructed in Matlab/Simulink in this study.

Grubbe Ventilation AB is a sheet metal and ventilation company who provides design, Installation, service, and repair of ventilation. The company is expanding their business by building a new facility in Umeå, Västerbotten. The property is designed to be used for both office and industrial work.Grubbe Ventelation AB has not yet decided upon wish system which is to be established to provide the building with heating and cooling. The consulting firm Umeå Projekt Team has therefore been asked to investigate the possibilities to invest in geothermal- heating and cooling.If the investigation of a geothermal heating- and cooling system would provide favorable results it would be a very appropriate alternative that provides energy at low costs and are an environmentally friendly option as the energy comes from stored solar energy in the ground is provided by stored solar energy in the ground.The facility ´s heating and cooling consumptions are calculated in the program BV2 and the result indicate a heating demand of 185 000 kWh per year due to thermal transmittance, transmission losses, heating of warm water and a cooling requirement of 5500 kWh.Three different systems of geothermal heating and cooling were tested in the computer program Energy Earth Design. The results show no difference in the dimensioning of the drill hole if merely heating were to be used or both heating and cooling were to be established.

Like several of her female peers, Marie Under (1883 - 1980) has been denied the international acclaim she deserves. The earliest text on Marie Under in swedish told of her greatness, but in classical fallic maner reduced her poetic production by marking it with pathological symtoms. Though latter texts by author Enel Melberg have put a feminist perspective on Unders work, the theoretical complexity of her poetic images and language, and its polemic relation to contemporary literary currents, has yet to be recognised. This study will seek to portrait Marie Under and her poetry in this new light.The study moves from an Installation of Marie Under in the modern discourse she so far has been estranged from, to an analysis of her earlier works (in the 1910?s and 1920?s).

The energy usage contributes to a big part of it, by its emission of carbon dioxide. The built environment uses around 40 % of the total energy consumption in Sweden and requests to strongly reduce it are presented from both EU and national level.This thesis brings up the subject of green building with a focus on how we can create more energy efficient buildings in projects of new construction. Since the construction industry today often fails to pass on the knowledge between different projects, as a return of experiences, the construction company Skanska suggested the topic for this thesis.

In order to increase the independence in everyday life of the elderly population, we have developed a lifting aid for loading in the private car trunk. Independence from outside assistance affects self-esteem in a positive direction and can help increase the quality of life for a large group of individuals. As people age and experience changes in performance, it is important that aids and support is available, particularly to reduce the experience of aging and it?s increasing physical limitations. The aim was to develop a function prototype characterized by simplicity, which facilitates loading of the private cartrunk.The project was conducted at the request of Autoadapt AB, which is one of the leadingactors in car adaptations for individuals with disablilities.

The subject of this project focuses on how Landscape Architects by their profession can explore and directly make a difference in the cityscape. This paper documents the process of art - based research practice. The purpose of installing temporary activities is to encourage people in the city to discover, participate and invite people to be more playful in the city. My experience of interaction in public spaces comes primarily from the education within landscape architecture, from site-specific art Installations I have performed in different cities and from observations of landscape architecture, street art and urban life in the cities of Vienna, Berlin and Linköping. It is fascinating and inspiring to see how the urban space can invite and allow visitors to participate and therefore feel invited to the open space. As a landscape architect I wish to create urban spaces that are useful and inspiring for their visitors. The projects main question: How can you make temporary landscapes that encourage outdoorinspired activities at selected locations in the city? is answered by practice based research, an approach in which theoretical research are developed through practical experiments in the designing- and implementation process.

I denna rapport framgår vilken energibesparing som är möjlig i vissa processer hos Ankarsrum Industries. Hypotesen var att sänka företagets energikostnader med 30 %.Företagets analyserade stödprocesser omfattar tryckluft, belysning och ventilation och lokalkomfort. Tryckluftsproduktionen kostar idag 259 000 kronor om året. Företaget har ett tryckluftsläckage som uppgår till 113 000 kronor. Om läckage tätas och en ny kompressor investeras kan företaget spara 160 000 kronor per år.Belysningen i företagets lokaler består av flera olika typer av armaturer med varierande kvalitet.
