The students are usually eager to develop their mathematical learning. However, the Skolverket can see that this eagerness passes in the early years of school. A study shows that a varied mathematical education creates enthusiasm to learn, which can decrease the negative view of mathematics.The purpose of this study is to see how five pedagogues use laboratory mathematics, their approaches to laboratory mathematics as well as to find out their role in the laboratory education. The result of the study is based on interviews with the pedagogues, who are all teachers for students in year F-3. All of the pedagogues work in a laboratory way, but to different extents.The study shows that the pedagogues aim to make the mathematics as concrete and everyday as possible.

That parents should be a part in their children?s education is something that we educationalist wish for the future. Research show that if you have a good relation between parents and school, it can help a student's educational process. In this study I have concentrated on the Swedish minority group Roma. The study is qualitative and based on interviews with Roma.

The purpose of this work is to see if the students, on two separate high schools, understand what skills you should achieve after completing the course in physical education and health A 100 points. The entire study is based on a student perspective. In order to best answer the purpose, the questionnaire used in the "available groups" in schools. The questions for the work are: To what extent and how students perceive what they should achieve after completing the course in Sport and Health A?, Which is the goal, based on the curriculum in Physical Education, that students feel are important to achieve? and how do a comparison like between these two schools on the basis of what students perceive that they must achieve in Sport and Health A?The result shows that the main goal that finds support in the course objectives is an assertion; Has knowledge of what to eat to maintain or improve health, which over 90% of students had checked in.

This study shows the thoughts, hopes and wishes of two male and two female music teachers, in grades 6 ? 9 from four different cities of Sweden. The emphasis lays on usage of digital tools. As the schools now stand before lots of changes in its curriculums; the use of digital tools was the main thing that caught my interest. How has the schools interpreted what this means? What does this mean in terms of purchases for the schools? We already know that many schools are lacking proper facilities to conduct music lessons so this ads on even larger needs.

By submitting a questionnaire to all professions within the groups I have tried to find similarities and differences in their statements from both structured and unstructured questions. The study is an attempt to contribute knowledge about how these groups can be understood and developed, based on a special education perspective, systems theory and sense of coherence (KASAM). The results shows that there is a consensus among the majority of staff opinions of the systems? opportunities as well as dilemmas.

The purpose of this study has been to describe and analyze how former foster children experienced foster care which have been filled with maltreatment and neglect and how this has influenced their adult life when it comes to health, education and relationships. We also wanted to study how the former foster children coped with their placement. Furthermore we wanted to study whether there has been any turningpoints during their growth. Finally we wanted to describe how the former foster children experienced the authorities control. To make the purpose of this study complete we chose to use qualitative interviews with six former foster children as our research method.

The aim of this study is to find out what education in literature is like from a student perspective; what kind of literature the students read and how well they understand literature, and the methods and didactics used during the literature lessons. The questions at issue are:1) What kind of literature do the students read?2) How well do the students understand literary texts?3) What do the students think about their literature education?To be able to answer the questions, both quantitative and qualitative methods have been used in the study. The inquiry was accomplished on 29 students, 17 boys and 12 girls in the upper secondary school. The result showed, despite the limited amount of students, interesting facts.

The main purpose of this paper is to examine how students in school year nine in the Swedish school come in contact with history outside of the school context. The paper also focuses on, if and how the students consider the contact with history as something different than, or similar to the history education that takes place during school hours, the student´s interest in history will also be examined. To gather the student?s opinions on these subjects, I have done interviews with eight students divided into two groups, with one group consisting of four girls and one group with two boys and two girls. The interviews took place at the students school located in a smaller city in Värmlands län, Sweden.

Den första redogör för dess uppbyggnad i termer av arkitektur, stadsdelar och ägande ? inklusive det rätt unika bostadsformen kommunalka ? kollektiva lägenheter där individer äger enstaka rum och delar på kök och badrum. Därefter redogörs de främsta faktorer bakom utvecklingen på den under de tio åren fram till 2006. Bland dessa är det stora missnöjet med befintliga bostäder, en omfattande nybyggnation i stadens ytterkanter och den kraftiga utvecklingen på hypotekslånemarknaden.I den andra delen görs en hedonisk prismodell utifrån en logaritmisk regressionsanalys av 16 000 bostäder till salu i stadens största bostadsguide där pris är den beroende variabeln och bostädernas egenskaper som yta, stadsdel, avstånd till centrum och arkitekturstil är de oberoende variablerna.

The essay concerns "the knowledge society", IT and the possibilities of school being changedto meet the future. The purpose was to reflect the ideas of researchers and authorities concerningwork and education in "the knowledge society" and to illuminate/shed light on theimportance of information technology in this connection, to map organizational and pedagogicalshortcomings in the current school system and the changes that can be needed, and to investigatehow these changes can affect teachers, pupils and librarians.The investigation, which was a text analysis of normative and futurist sources, was especiallydirected towards how modem information technology can influence education/teaching.The differences between researchers and authorities were most obvious in the view of theimportance of knowledge of facts and central control mechanisms for standards or grading.For the authorities, who were devoid of a thought out/carefully prepared and consequent viewof knowledge and by that also of pedagogics, the information technique was the foremostcause of a change in pedagogy. The researchers also perceived the possibilities of IT, butemphasized the importance of pedagogical innovations irrespective of the technology.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera vilka faktorer som är avgörande för ett värdeskapande uppköp samt att om det är möjligt utifrån dessa utläsa en modell för hur uppköpsprocessen kan göras värdeskapande. För att kunna besvara vårt syfte har vi studerat litteraturen som finns i ämnet uppköp och tagit del av de teorier som finns. Vi har utifrån teorin genomfört intervjuer på fallföretaget Getinge AB inklusive några av deras senaste förvärv. Efter detta har vi gjort ytterligare en teoretisk studie och kompletterat intervjuerna via epost och press. Motiv till uppköp är en kombination av flera.

Nyhetsankare ska varje dag övertyga sina tittare om att det han/hon säger är sant och det viktigaste redskapet för detta är tittarens tillit. Tittaren måste alltså anse att nyhetsankaret är trovärdigt för att övertygas om budskapet. Inom nyhetsbranschen är riktlinjerna för hur nyheterna ska se ut och hur nyhetsankaret ska tala och bete sig oerhört strikta. Riktlinjerna har direkt koppling till retoriken. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer har vi kommit fram till huruvida publikens uppfattningar kring nyhetsankares trovärdighet överensstämmer med branschens och läroböckernas uppfattning.

Aim: To evaluate nurse student?s apprehension of an interprofessional seminar as part of training. Method: A descriptive, qualitative study built on the analysis of 43 questionnaires and one group interview with nurse student?s who participated in the seminar. For the analysis of the collected material we used the method of analysis of contents as described by Graneheim and Lundman.
