CML Data AB is a small IT-company that offers complete IT-solutions adjusted to the needs of the customers. It is hard for the employees to bring all necessary papers, files and software when visiting a customer. They also have difficulties planning their daily work and to keep track of each other, because of the lack of a shared calendar.The purpose of this report is to answer the following questions:- How do you develop a centralized information system for CML Data AB where it is possible for the employees to gain access to files, plan their days and where the customers can get access to relevant information?- How do you develop an information system that is easy to manage?- How do you make it easier for the employees at CML Data AB to update their homepage?We discussed the problems and the future information system with the employees and were able to establish a set of needs and requirements which we then used as a foundation during the software development. We used user centered system design during the whole process and focused a lot on usability and interaction design.The project resulted in a stylistically pure and user friendly portal.

Vi lever idag i ett informationssamhälle, där mängden av information och informationssystem tenderar att öka med tiden. Företag strävar hela tiden efter en ökad kontroll av sina informationssystem och därför har begreppet ?konsolideringar av informationssystem? blivit ett populärt koncept. Begreppet är nytt och i dagsläget finns ingen sammanställd teori med åtgärdsförslag som företag kan nyttja i sina konsolideringsarbeten, vilket dock författarna till denna uppsats gjort. I uppsatsen sammanställs och kategoriseras de olika konsolideringsteorierna, och en empirisk studie av ett företags teoretiska mognadsgrad gällande konsolideringar redovisas.

Banking systems in India is quite popular and it needs some more changes to reach all the customers. Lack of the service is main problem in Indian baking system. If the common person wants to open the account, it take?s little bit high cost and banks are not near the people location. Due to the Lack of service, people do not want to be a customer of the bank.

The cost of test can in some cases be as high as 50 % of the projects total cost and it's at the same time an important part of development. Test as such has moved its focus from the software it self and its faults to a wider perspective on whole infrastructures of information systems where assure a good quality is important. Sogeti in the Netherlands have developed a test method called TMap (Test Management approach) that can be used for structured testing of information systems.

Product sharing systems is recently starting to become a more common phenomenon. Carpools exist in more than 40 Swedish towns and both Stockholm and Gothenburg have established bicycle sharing systems. Other products for which sharing systems have been established throughout Sweden are clothing and tools. From the point of view of the consumer, product sharing systems is a form of consumption which can be placed somewhere in between renting and privately owning a product, where the consumers usually pay a membership fee or a monthly fee to have access to the products whenever they need them. The concept is relatively new, and there are many products for which product sharing systems do not exist.

Denna C-uppsats behandlar utvärderingar av företags datoriserade informationssystem. Bakgrunden till detta är att det idag spenderas stora summor pengar på företagens och att företagens verksamhet ofta är beroende av ett fungerande informationssystem. För att säkerställa att informationssystemet verkligen ger den nyttan som efterstävas krävs det att det genomförs utvärderingar. Utvärderingar är en grund för att kontrollera systemen mot de uppsatta målen och att visa på eventuella förbättringsbehov. Uppsatsen vill visa hur utvärderingsarbetet går till i dagens företag.

The web has a broad affect on the global economy and can among other things be used for web based information systems (WIS). These systems have grown from being used as a market platform to support all activities in the work of an organisation of today. To survive in a turbulent competitive environment, companies must start to cooperate with their customers instead of just collaborate with them. Can an IT-consultant company use a WIS as a tool for keeping in contact with existing customers to attain this cooperation? A WIS could strengthen the relation between customer and supplier and through that have a possibility to increase the customer use since it can facilitate business processes and imply that services can be offered in a new way.

Ett infomationssystem kan ses som en mänsklig konstruktion. Med detta menas att upplägg av informationsbehandlingen är utarbetad av människor. Det är även människor som ansvarar för hur systemet fungerar och tar initiativ till förändringar av det. Utveckling och införande av datasystem, ofta kallat systemutveckling, är en process innehållande ett antal steg. Ett av dessa steg innefattar designen av ett informationssystem och kallas designprocess.

Detta arbete behandlar relationen användare - informationssystem under ett informationssystems livstid. Arbetet syftar till att påbörja en teorikonstruktion över de faktorer samt effekter, vilka tillsammans utgör den kontext i vilken informationssystemet skapas och verkar. Systemutvecklingsprocessen betraktas ur ett användarperspektiv såtillvida att användarens subjektiva uppfattning om berörda situationer står i fokus.Rapporten behandlar följande frågeställningar: "Hur ser relationen ut i planeringsfasen?" samt "Hur ser relationen ut i verksamhetsfasen?". För respektive frågeställning kartläggs faktorer och effekter, som kan ha betydelse för den studerade relationen.

This study aims to examine the effect management control systems have on which goals health centers prioritize. The management control systems of one privately owned and one publicly owned health center have been studied through a qualitative case study. Robert Simons (1995) framework with four levers of control (diagnostic control systems, interactive control systems, belief systems and boundary systems) has been used to structure the study. For both health centers we found a conflict of interest mainly between the diagnostic control system and the beliefs system, where the diagnostic control system is biased towards quantitative goals and the beliefs system is mainly biased towards qualitative goals. However, despite the unbalanced levers of control the studied health centers have been able to reach a well functioning compromise between quantitative and qualitative goals..

The world is changing and the business context is no exception. One of the clearest tendencies is a tougher business climate with harder competition due to increased international trade and the expansion of the e-business. At the same time the customers are becoming more sophisticated and demanding. The last decades have also meant that tougher and more frequent demands are being aimed at the businesses from a wider variety of stakeholders; demands regarding how environmental issues, social responsibilities and business ethics should be dealt with. All of the above have driven companies towards implementation of different management systems to be able to cope with the demands as well as to ensure that these issues are being dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.

The climate issue is a significant question, and the problem is mainly caused by human activities. Everyone can help to counteract the enhanced Greenhouse effect by reducing the amounts of energy they use and by not consuming more products then they need.Schools are some of societies many consumers and therefore contribute to the Greenhouse effect. The School also has an important task; to teach and disseminate knowledge and information about the climate and the environment. According to the Swedish National Agency for Education, Skolverket, must all schools regularly consider the environment and sustainable development throughout the entire education process. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many schools in Sweden today.One of many tools that can be used to coordinate environmental work and initiatives, and also to make it more efficient, is environmental management systems.

Enligt Standish Group är det endast cirka 35 % av alla systemutvecklingsprojekt som avslutas på ett lyckat sätt när det gäller tid, budget och resurser. Inom systemutveckling är fastprisprojekt, där systemets kostnad är förbestämd, allt mer populärt. Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) är en modell för utveckling som fokuserar på fasta resurser och tid med funktionalitet som den flexibla variabeln. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att se om man kan driva fastprisprojekt med en modell som DSDM på ett sätt som gör det till en bra lösning för både beställare och leverantör.Min slutsats är att det största problemet med DSDM är att få beställaren att godkänna den som projektmodell. Ett annat stort problem är att många projekt med DSDM blir stressiga eftersom tiden är fast.
