Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på hur information och undervisning kan utformas och vara ett bra sätt att förbättra den hälsorelaterade livskvaliteten hos patienter med hjärtsvikt. Femton vetenskapliga artiklar valdes ut genom fulltextdatabasen United States National Library of Medicine (MEDLINE) och Högskolan Dalarnas sökmotor Electronic Library Information Navigator (ELIN). Sökorden som användes var heart failure, quality of life, information/education och nursing i olika kombinationer. Artiklarna som valdes ut granskades med hjälp av modifierade granskningsmallar för att säkerställa att dom var av så hög kvalite som möjligt. Fysisk funktionell förmåga och kunskap om sjukdomen har betydelse för patientens upplevelse av sin hälsorelaterade livskvalitet.

Today the Internet is used more and more as a transportation for information. Much of the information is confidential and should not be read by those not privileged. To protect the information from unauthorized access cryptography can be applied. The cryptography algorithms in use today all have their pros and cons. They are therefore suited for different applications.

Familjeföretag är en ständigt växande företagsform och står idag för hälften av allt företagande i Sverige. Familjeföretag har visat sig skilja sig från icke-familjeföretag i olika hänseenden, och dessa skillnader har forskats mycket kring. Bland annat har forskning visat att familjeföretag i mindre grad använder sig av finansiell information vid beslutsfattande än icke-familjeföretag, samtidigt som de visar sig prestera bättre än dem. Detta trots att finansiell information har påståtts vara ett viktigt underlag vid beslutsfattande för företag generellt. Detta väcker intresse för att undersöka hur familjeföretagare använder sig av finansiell information när de fattar beslut, och vilken roll den har. Syftet med studien är att utifrån familjeföretagarens perspektiv utforska användningen av finansiell information, genom att studera beslutsprocessen vid långsiktiga och återkommande satsningar som familjeföretagare ställs inför.

I det moderna informationssamhället vi lever i, har tillgången till informations- och kommunikationsteknologin ökat och det har aldrig varit så enkelt att förmedla och ta emot information som det är idag. Detta har till stor del underlättat inom arbetslivet då det globala avståndet minskar och vi har möjlighet att arbeta från ett flertal olika platser. Däremot kan den andra sidan av myntet innebära att vi tar emot mer information än vad vi har förmåga till att hantera och detta kan medföra att vi blir överbelastade. När informationen transformeras till någonting negativt och påfrestande brukar man säga att individen har drabbats av fenomenet Information overload. Ett närbesläktat fenomen till detta är det så kallade Interaction overload där man, till skillnad från Information overload, uppmärksammar interaktionen som individen utsätts för.Arbetsmailen är ett vanligt kommunikationsverktyg inom företag och genom denna finns en risk att drabbas av både Information overload och Interaction overload.

Internet är ett globalt nätverk som förser en användare med ofantliga mängder information. Internet ger även användaren den unika möjligheten att själv publicera sin information utan någon form av kontroll. Den möjligheten har gjort att mycket missvisande och falsk information finns tillgänglig på Internet. Det är helt upp till användaren att försöka avgöra om informationen är sann, giltig och korrekt, det vill säga trovärdig, frågan är bara om användaren gör det?Följande examensarbete har undersökt om en erfaren Internetanvändare utför någon form av källkritisk granskning, eller överhuvudtaget funderar över trovärdigheten hos information från webben.

Arbetets ansats är öka förståelsen för vad svenska ungdomar möter när de råkat ut för en allvarlig händelse och söker professionell hjälp. Arbetet berör juridisk bakgrund, det sociala arbetets organisation och närvarande faktorer i mötet mellan socialarbetare och klient. Vidare berörs hur individen påverkas av att möta socialarbetare utifrån symbolisk interaktionism och stämplingsteorin. Genom en enkätundersökning undersöks hur stor svenska ungdomars kännedom om tystnadsplikt och anmälningsplikt är och om det finns könsskillnader i denna medvetenhet. Enkätundersökningen utgår framförallt ifrån svensk stad med cirka 30.000 invånare i kommunen.

God kommunikation med patienter, anhöriga och medarbetare är essentiell för sjuksköterskans yrkesutövande. Information och undervisning har två huvudmål; att skapa trygghet och at hjälpa patienten att hantera situationen på bästa sätt, både fysiskt och psykiskt. I föreliggande studie var syftet att undersöka på vilket sätt sjuksköterskor på en korttidsvårdavdelning informerar patienter inför en gastroskopi. Frågeställningarna var; Vilken information som ges och på vilket sätt den ges? Hur försäkrar sig sjuksköterskan om att patienten har tagit till sig informationen och vilket språkbruk använder hon sig av? Data inhämtades genom intervjuer med sex sjuksköterskor.

We believed that knowledge organisation of manga and manhwa with homosexual (including lesbian) themes might be a challenge for Swedish public libraries. One of the reasons for this is that these themes in manga and manhwa usually occur in genres not directed towards an LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) audience. To see how Swedish public libraries treat such titles and why they treat them as they do, we examined a selection of public libraries, their collections, acquisitions, cataloguing and shelving of relevant titles. The theory used is mainly Grant Campbell?s binarisms, subject access to LGBTQ literature and critical analysis of knowledge organisation.

This bachelor thesis covers fire protection methods of structural steel and the aim is to develop an information tool designed for inexperienced structural engineers. The information tool covers basic fire protection methods and the general way to produce a fire resistance for structural steel. The layout of this information tool is a simple folder that contains information about the most important steps when producing fire protection for a steel structure.The thesis starts with a general overview of the fire protection needed in buildings to fulfill national legislative and regulatory requirements. To get an understanding of how steel components behave during the influence of fire, a brief overview is presented of the material properties of steel. This chapter also contains a review of previous research in the area.

Sammanfattning Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor har till uppgift att informera anhöriga med hänsyn till tidpunkt, form och innehåll. Anhöriga har behov av att få information från sjuksköterskor. Studier visar att behovet av information inte tillfredsställs och att anhöriga lider i ovisshet och väntan. Syfte: Beskriva anhörigas upplevelser av att bli informerade av sjuksköterskor. Metod: En litteraturöversikt enligt Friberg (2006) har gjorts och baserats på nio vetenskapliga artiklar. Likheter i resultaten delades efter innehåll in i teman. Resultat: Anhöriga vill bli informerade på vardagligt språk, med få medicinska termer och informationen ska vara rak, sanningsenlig och patientnära. De vill inte behöva vänta på att få information, de vill få den kontinuerligt och inte riskera att få motsägelsefull information.

A favourable economic situation in Sweden has lead to a very good market for agricultural real estates. The estate agents? ads in the daily newspapers, where they actively are seeking assignments, give a hint that the supply is smaller than the demand for agricultural real estates. This situation ends up in a competition between real estate agents to get as many assignments as possible to meet the demand from the market. Describing and explaining the sellers? decision process may give a specific agent an advantage towards other agents.

The aim of this thesis is to examine information behavioursamongst a group of social anthropologists. The thesis alsohas a special focus on issues concerning information andinformation behaviour during periods of ethnographicfieldwork. As a empirical foundation for this studyinterviews where made between may ? september in 2011with seven social anthropologists active at a swedishuniversity. The results from the conducted interviews areanalysed with the theoretical framework of the informationbehaviour theory as presented by T.D Wilson.

The purpose of this project was to produce signal relay stations that could receive information via 2.4 GHz radio and relay the information to a designated target station. If a relay station was located outside of signal range for the target station it was supposed to utilize other relay stations to transfer the information to the target station, so called multi-hop.The would-be application of the relay stations was orienteering. When an orienteer punches a checkpoint the signal stations would relay information of who punched the control, when it was punched and the checkpoint that was punched to the speaker tower in the goal area.The work resulted in prototypes which fulfilled the statement of purpose and was tested at an orienteering competition with satisfactory results. The performance of the prototypes was tested and found adequate for the would-be application..
