The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects on a simulated wastewater plant regarding GHG emissions and use of energy and resources when implementing source separated wastewater systems. The effects were studied for different restrictions of effluent quality and for different temperatures on the influent. The simulation model BSM2G calibrated for Käppala wastewater treatment plant was used. The task was executed by simulating nine different scenarios with an increase in influent load from new connections equivalent to 3, 10 and 30 % of the present connections. These new connections were served by conventional, urine separated or black water separated systems.

The objective of this thesis was firstly to examine the possibilities of creating a universal tool for evaluating IT-security. When all the material was gathered we saw that we had strayed away from our subject and that our focus was on IT-threats and IT-professionals apprehensions and possibilities on the subject. The purpose of this thesis was there after to find and identify threats and counter measures in publications and later discuss these with IT-professionals. We found and identified several threats that the professionals encountered in their work. These threats ranged from techniques used by hackers to threats that can arise when the users on the network are poorly educated.

This assignment has been performed at location and commissioned by AttenditAB in Jönköping. The task has been to develop a client/server system to accessdata stored in SQL databases where the client application is developed to run onregular cellular telephones. The importance has been to develop as reliable mobilecommunication as possible. The functionality that is demanded upon the mobilecommunication is:? Secured for future versions? Interoperability? Data should not be bugged, modified or disappearunnoticed? Resource efficientWe have achieved these demands by developing our own protocol that is on top ofthe TCP protocol.

Tidigare forskning indikerar att en god lögnare håller sig så närasanningen som möjligt. I denna studie undersöktes om personer somljuger under ett simulerat förhör håller sig olika nära sanningen kringett scenario beroende på erfarenhet av lögn i förhörssituationer samtpå misstankegrad. I studien besvarade 90 deltagare mellan 19 och 64år öppna och riktade frågor i ett simulerat polisförhör. Deltagare utanerfarenhet av förhör kom signifikant närmare sanningen än de mederfarenhet. I resultaten återfanns dock ingen skillnad som enkonsekvens av misstankegrad.

Stormwater run-off from surfaces such as roads or rooftops is often polluted with heavy metals and nutrients. Many of these substances can cause great damage in biota if they end up in the recipient. In Sweden constructed wetlands and ponds for treatment of stormwater are frequently used, since research has shown that these treatment ponds are reducing stormwater pollution considerably to a low cost. The knowledge of these pollutant removal mechanisms and how follow-up and assessment of the ponds should be performed is still limited.To determine the pollutant removal efficiency of the stormwater ponds it is recommended that flow-weighted water samples are collected from both the inflow and the outflow of the pond. This method demands considerable resources of time and money for installations and analysis.

My thesis was based on studying what really happens when Swedes move their beloved kitchen outdoors.?What kind of problems andpossibilities appears in this enviroment? First, I unbiassed examined the traditional kitchen in general to get a better view of how an outdoorkitchen could function in a country that have diffrent seasons. I intervjued an interior designer specialized in kitchenplanning to get abetter view. One thing that came up was that the experince of beeing outdoor sometimes puts functionality aside. I located different needs inthe outdoor kitchen enviroment and decided to work futher with one of them, outdoor lightning.The result became a 3d digital model of an outdoor lamp that creates both functionallight and moodlight.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine how locally produced bioenergy may contribute to meet the climate target year 2050 in the municipality of Uppsala. The goal of reduced GHG-emissions from current 6,8 ton CO2-equivalents to 0,5 ton CO2-equivalents per capita and year, year 2050 is based on avoiding harmful penalties of an increased level of GHG in the atmosphere. By estimating available biomass in the county together with examining future technologies and emission factors for the substrates used, four possible future scenarios has been developed focusing either on electricity generation or production of biofuels. GHG-emissions of year 2050 have been calculated using the software LEAP. The conclusion is that bioenergy, depending on how it is integrated in the energy system, may reduce greenhouse gas emissions between 0.6 ton CO2-equivalents and 1.4 ton CO2-equivalents per capita or 12% to 25% compared to 5.5 ton CO2-equivalents in the reference scenario 2050. The greatest reduction is obtained if biofuels are produced in combination with energy efficient heat requirements in buildings..

Cyberterrorism kan ses som ett relativt nytt, komplicerat och diffust hot som uppenbarat sig till följd av en snabb IT-utveckling. För Försvarsmakten kan detta hot innebära en ny utmaning eftersom doktrinen som skall fungera som vägledning i verksamheten börjar bli inaktuell. De grundläggande förmågorna, som är en viktig del av doktrinen, ses som tankemässiga hjälpmedel för att Försvarsmakten skall kunna analysera, samordna och beskriva verksamheten. Syftet med denna uppsats är att utreda hur pass användbara de grundläggande förmågorna är som tankemässiga hjälpmedel när Försvarsmakten ställs mot ett hot som cyberterrorism. Detta görs genom en analys utifrån ett scenario där Försvarsmaktens ledningssystem utsätts för en cyberattack med ett efterföljande resonemang om tillämpningen av förmågorna.

År 2001 antogs EU-direktiv 2001/77/EG vars syfte är att stimulera fram mer förnyelsebar el inom Europeiska Unionen (EU). Målet är att fram till år 2010 ska 22 procent av den totala användningen komma från förnyelsebar el. Under senare år har EU-kommissionen annonserat planer på att skapa ett gemensamt europeiskt stödsystem för förnyelsebar el. Inom Europa finns för närvarande fyra olika stödsystem, inmatningspriser, kvotplikt, skatter och det så kallade certifikatsystemet. Ett troligt scenario är att EU-kommissionen främjar framväxten av ett harmoniserat certifikatsystem.

This paper investigates the possibilities to construct automatized portfolios based on optimizations strategies that could outperform comparable indexes. The study is based on time-series of Swedish stocks dating from 1986 to 2006. In the research four different portfolio optimization techniques were studied. These were: the Classical Markowitz Approach, Mean-Absolute-Deviation, Minimum-Regret and Conditional Value-at-Risk of which the three latter are based on generated scenarios. The behaviour of these models was studied for different choices of parameters such as backward time-horizon and targeted average return.

Det är ingen enkel process att ge sig in i en okänd framtid. Inom den fysiska planeringen är det betydelsefullt att göra långsiktiga studier och bedömningar som rör mark-, vatten- och naturresurser för att skapa en rimlig avvägning mellan olika anspråk på nyttjande och bevarande. Fysisk planering är till stor del en kommunal fråga, men samtidigt är det allt fler planeringsfrågor som behöver ses i ett regionalt, nationellt eller transnationell perspektiv. Det verkar vara hög tid för nationell framtid. De institutionella förutsättningarna som behövs för fysisk planering på en nationell nivå saknas i Sverige och något sammanhållet nationellt dokument har inte heller utarbetats.

För full migrering till IPv6 behöver utbudet av datakommuniktionsstjänster anpassas för den nyagenerationens IP-protokoll med bevarad eller utökad funktionalitet. Detta examensarbetes mål äratt ta fram en eller flera lösningar som möter krav och tekniska förutsättningar för att utöka företagetDGC:s tjänst IP-VPN för IPv6. Detta innefattar adresstilldelningstekniker som prefixdelegeringoch automatisk adresskonfigurering i befintlig nätinfrastruktur.Lösningarna presenteras i sex framtagna scenarier som har undersökts utifrån tester, analys ocherfarna problem som uppstått. Undersökningen formade kriterierna skalbarhet, konfigurationenskomplexitet, kompatibilitet, RFC-stöd och krav från DGC som tas hänsyn till i utvärderingen avden bäst lämpade lösningen.Utvärderingen har gett ett resultat i form av ett rekommenderat scenario som är implementerbartenligt uppsatta mål.Tekniker som skulle kunna påverka valet av bäst lämpade lösning, men som inte är tillgängliga,diskuteras och presenteras för att poängtera vad som kan behövas tas i beaktande för framtiden..

This thesis will address a problem concerning availability of information systems at an enterprise within the financial sector and its external suppliers, so called trusted third party. The information system resides on the internal network of the enterprise and must be available to both employees of the enterprise and the trusted third party simultaneously. This contradicts the company policy which disallows third parties access to the internal network. The HAVECA-model introduced in this thesis provides a framework of methods, each solving a sub problem identified in the model. The identified methods are hardening, verification, control and assurance, together supplying a method for continuously securing the internal network against a trusted third party.

The project objective was to make parts of our cultural heritage available as a resource for learning, by developing the pedagogical activities on a medieval castle, that today functions as a museum. I also wanted to explore the role of a designer in a process that aims to develop the interaction between schools and cultural institutions.By a selection of objects and locations in the castle, illustrations with accompanying texts were made, which through the children?s imaginative ability may bring them to a historical scenario. This resulted in a working material that supports the children?s activities and reflections during their visit to the castle.

I denna rapport undersöks om röstskådespel i interaktiva medier kan bidra till att karaktärer upplevs mer verklighetstrogna samt hur repliker kan skrivas för att bidra till detta. Undersökningen är baserad på forskning inom psykologi och lingvistik. Genom att använda ett ?Choose-your-own-adventure?-scenario i fyra varianter samt två protokoll undersöks hur testpersonerna uppfattar deras karaktär och vilken skillnad röstskådespel gjorde på denna uppfattning. Testpersonerna beskriver även hur de upplever röstskådespel i dagens spel samt vilken påverkan röstskådespelarna har på deras upplevelse och lockelse till spel.
