The purpose of this paper is to examine how seams in an interactive system should be managed. Seamsin this study refer to the boundaries that arise when users move between for example differentsoftware, products or positioning systems. These seams are a cornerstone of the relatively unexploredarea called seamful design, which is based on that users can avail highlighted seams through activeparticipation in the use of a system. To analyze this area, seamful design is applied to the developmentof an interface of a smoothie vending machine. This smoothie machine thus provides the analyzedinteractive system, which the research questions are applied to as well as answered by.

Background: According to many authorities Trademark consideration will within the companies become all more prioritized objectives for competitive advantage and a strong organisational structure.Trade marking is becoming an important tool, not only Production oriented companies apply this on their products or services whereas it is today spread in many different sectors.Problems: On the basis of theoretical and empirical studies, we will try to see how a trademark is built up.This will guide us to our questions at issue:? How has the actual process for HTF been in order to strengthen and to build up their trademark, how have they achieved this in practice?? What are the underlying criteria?s to for this work and what role has the consultant company BMN in the actual process?Aim: The authors have for intention to create an understanding on why there is interesting for a trade union organisation like HTF to carry out a trademark development investment. A further understanding will be to highlighting a strong trademark's advantages and possible disadvantages.Results: As a trade union organisation where the relationship to the members and the potential members is becoming all more important is the interesting to highlight their trademark clear and in addition to that contribute to building and establishing strong relationships. on the basis of this study we can state that it is now one of the most important support activities that as a trade unions to highlight its core values through trademark. As a trade union, one can to a large extent work with and to apply the market the economic mocks-up for trademark build up.The most important aspect is that we can state , in the future developed to concentrate more on communication, positioning, segmentation and diversification, which the trademark act as intermediary.

Begreppet managementkonsult har visat sig vara diffust och vad professionen innebär ärsvårt att definiera. Det faktum att managementkonsulter i princip säljer ett löfte om vadde ska leverera gör att förmågan att inge förtroende är en viktig egenskap hos en konsult.I denna studie undersöker vi hur den svenska managementkonsultbranschen ser ut ochvilken betydelse förmågan att skapa förtroende har. Genom en fallstudie på företagetReforce har vi kunnat analysera vilken position ett litet managementkonsultföretag, utanett känt och väletablerat varumärke, kan ha på marknaden samt vilka aspekter sompåverkar deras förmåga att inge förtroende.I kartläggningen av den svenska managementkonsultmarknaden framkommer att deföretag som agerar på marknaden idag kan delas in i tre huvudsakliga kategorier;amerikanska, semiamerikanska och svenska företag. Det har visat sig att de olikakategorierna skiljer sig åt bland annat i avseende på vilka primära tjänster de erbjuder ochpå vilket sätt de arbetar. Managementkonsultbranschen är kunskapsintensiv och någotsom därför har uppmärksammats i denna studie är att företagen inte endast konkurrerarom kunder utan också om bra personal.

Scandic Hotels AB driver två hotell i Umeå, Scandic Umeå Syd samt Scandic Plaza Umeå. Det förstnämnda är beläget på Teg ca 15 minuters promenad från centrum, medan det andra ligger mitt i centrum. Fram till för ungefär tre år sedan hette restaurangen på Scandic Plaza Umeå Viskningar & Rop, något som varit restaurangens namn sedan hotellet byggdes. Därefter valde de att byta namn till Brasseri Plaza. De tre efterföljande åren har Scandic Plaza Umeås hotellrestaurang sett en nedåtgående trend på deras försäljning.

I juli 2006 trädde BBR:s nya krav om byggnaders energiförbrukning ikraft, vilka jämfört med de tidigare kraven väntas medföra förändringar för hela byggprocessen vad gäller hanteringen av energifrågor. De hårdare kraven kommer bland annat i skepnad av ett nytt begrepp, ?byggnadens specifika energianvändning?, ett begrepp som med stor förmodan kommer att ställa både högre krav på utförande av energiberäkningar i ett tidigare skede av byggprocessen samt med större noggrannhet. På VVS GRUPPEN AB i Lund utför man egna grövre energiberäkningar i samband med projektering i ett ganska tidigt skede av processen, främst beräkningar för hand, för att i ett senare skede låta en byggnadskonstruktör genomföra mer ingående energiberäkningar. Med de nya hårdare kraven uppstår ett eventuellt behov av att framöver utföra egna energiberäkningar på en noggrannare nivå redan i ett tidigare skede. BBR anger inga krav om metod för beräkningarna, utan lämnar upp till var och en att välja lämplig metod för aktuellt projekt. I samarbete med VVS GRUPPEN utfördes därför en undersökning av en alternativ metod, energiberäkning med hjälp av simuleringsprogrammet IDA Indoor Climate and Energy. Undersökningen begränsades till ett pågående projekt i form av en ny biblioteksbyggnad i Lomma, samt till att huvudsakligen syfta till beräkning av den specifika energin.

The Swedish cooperative Lantmännen Ekonomiska Förening has initiated a project labelled "Operation Blåljus" that includes an extensive program for closing down elevators. The number of elevators will be reduced from 92 to approximately 15 after harvest of 2007. The objective of Blåljus is to increase the price of grain with 10 öre/kg. A project has been initiated at the Lantmännen Grain division where the purpose is to provide the farmers with support in their decisions and practical advice how they can load a 35 ton grain truck on 30 minutes. The result from the project will serve as a support system to the farmer in his ambition to achieve cost efficient systems to load a truck with grain on the farm.

In the tropics, logging and wild fire can result in degraded secondary forests with lower biodiversity than in the natural forest. One way to limit forest degradation is to rehabilitate the present large areas of secondary forests. However, there is a lack of knowledge concerning the ecology of tropical tree species and further studies would be advantageous for future rehabilitation efforts of degraded rainforest. The objective of this study was to investigate how mother trees in secondary forest and different site factors affect the abundance and spatial distribution of natural regeneration of non-pioneer tree species in a tropical rainforest in Sabah, Malaysia. The study took place in the INIKEA Forest Rehabilitation Project area, which suffered from wild fire in 1983 and has been selectively logged over both before and after the fire. Natural regeneration and site variables were inventoried in plots, while mother trees were inventoried in the whole survey area.

Bakgrund: De flesta är medvetna om att vi matas med och påverkas av varumärken, men sällan om det arbete som ligger bakom ett varumärkes uppbyggnad. Därför är det av stor vikt vid varumärkesuppbyggnaden att förankra de värderingar som företaget vill positionera sig med. För att i sin position kunna differentiera sig gentemot konkurrenter med ett starkt varumärke måste företaget kommunicera samma värderingar, både i den interna och externa marknadsföringen för. Det finns de som anser att man kan utföra detta genom marknadsföring på två skilda sätt, genom att agera ?marknadsförare? eller att agera ?försäljare? gentemot sina kunder, där ?försäljare? ofta är bättre på att skapa relationer där kunden rekommenderar företaget vidare än en ?marknadsförare?.

My own experiences as an upper secondary school teacher and the increase in research on masculinity in educational settings that occurred during the late 1990 emphasizing on the gender gap in achievement and grades is the point of departure for this thesis. The aim is to investigate how boys in upper secondary school are constituted and constitute themselves as motivated and achieving learning subjects. Another aim is to see what possibilities there are to form different teaching practices to create other possible positions for me and the pupils. The research questions are 1) How does boys´ construction of masculinity constitute how they see their own ability to be motivated and achieve in school 2) What significance do my shifting approaches and expectations on the pupils as well as teaching have on the boys constitution as learning subjects? To answer these questions I use a theoretical framework of feminist poststructuralist.

På uppdrag av Hifab AB har detta examensarbete utförts under vårterminen 2015. En ny livsmedelsbutik ska etableras i Umeå, där Hifab AB har anlitats som generalkonsult av Coop Nord. I dagsläget finns endast ett utkast på hur byggnaden ska se ut eftersom byggnationen av butiken beräknas starta våren 2016. Detta innebär att det finns stora möjligheter att undersöka smarta energilösningar som kan appliceras på den framtida butiken. För att erhålla energistatistik att utgå från användes en Coop-butik i Kramfors som invigdes våren 2012 som referensbutik i detta projekt.Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka olika energialternativ och energieffektiviserande byggtekniska lösningar för den planerade butiken.

SUMMARY By altering the longitudinal slopes of the cubicle floors the drainage could be improved. If the altered slopes also position the cows further back in the cubicles the effect could be cleaner lying surfaces. In result this would lead to lower labour requirements, cleaner cows, cleaner udders and a minimization of the risks of mastitis. However, if the altered slopes lead to that the cows position themselves more diagonally in the cubicles the positive effects could be reduced. The altered slopes could even have a negative influence on the animals? natural lying behaviour.

HSB Göteborg owns and manages the property Masthugget 11:13 also called the Corvette in Gothenburg. The Corvette contains mostly office space but also shops, homes and garages. HSB Göteborg utilizes approximately 5000 square meters to its headquarters but in December 2014 they will move operations to Johanneberg Science Park. The risk of an increased proportion of vacancies in combination with relatively low rents and other tenant terminations allows HSB to ask for a future plan for how the real estate should be developed in order to remain profitable.Through studies of the area, urban office prospects, property current status and legal and economic conditions have different potential types of businesses been evaluated. City Planning Office program proposal forms the basis for the analysis of future plans for the area.

Detta arbete är en litteraturstudie som handlar om hur deltidsbete påverkar mjölkkors avkastning, foderintag och välfärd. I Sverige har vi beteskrav till skillnad från många andra länder i världen. Detta skapar problem då besättningstorlekarna ökar och det blir svårare att få marker i närheten av gården att räcka till alla kor. Det största problemet med mjölkkor på bete är dock att högavkastande kor inte producerar lika mycket på bete som inne på stall. Det är därför viktigt att finna ett sätt att lösa problemen som både gynnar kon och bonden.

Numerical simulations play a vital role in both static and dynamic stability assessment of electric power systems and the foreseeing of voltage collapse. Simulations performed by Svenska Kraftnät(SvK) are mainly done in the specialized voltage collapse predicting software tool, SPICA and the more all?purpose software tool, ARISTO.The grid operators at SvK use SPICA to predict the maximum transfer limit at specified sections (in this report the section in concerns is the southern part of Sweden i.e. interface1 4). SPICA is mainly used as an online application by using actual states from the grid, these states update every quarter of an hour.This thesis is a continuation of the master thesis SPICA ? ARISTO JÄMFÖRELSE by Jakob Katzman and Johan Fält.

Malmkroppen i Kiruna kan liknas vid en brant stående skiva med en tjocklek i medeltal på 80 meter. Längden på malmkroppen är fyra kilometer och den har ett indikerat djup på två kilometer. LKAB i Kiruna använder brytningsmetoden skivrasbrytning, för att utvinna malmen. Metoden medför att berggrunden ovanför och framför malmkroppen, hängväggen, spricker upp och sakta rasar in allteftersom malmen lastas ut. I och med detta kan man säga att det sker en naturlig återfyllning av gruvan.
