Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur personer som genomgått amputation upplever sin livskvalitet. Den deskriptiva litteraturstudien baserades på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar med både kvantitativ och kvalitativ ansats. Litteratursökningarna utfördes i databaserna Medline (via PubMed) samt CINAHL. Huvudresultatet visade att amputation påverkade individerna utifrån ett fysiskt, psykisk och socialt perspektiv. Vanliga faktorer som påverkade livskvaliteten negativt var smärta och svårigheter med mobiliseringen.

Abstract Project as a method was defined in the American defense industry in the 1950´s and has since then developed to encompass many different areas such as industrial management, administration, research and development and IT etc. In the cultural sector project is a common way of organizing work and within theatre, which is the focus of this study, one can claim that project as a form of work has been used for hundreds of years, if not by definition.Theatre is generally assumed to be an form of art representing creativity and innovation, highly demanding from an individual perspective relative to the project result, i.e. the final performance. Time pressure, fierce competition, limited resources and responsibility to deliver on time with high quality are natural conditions given.The aim of the study is to find out what circumstances and conditions affect and have a clear impact on motivation and creativity in those working professionally within theatre.This study is based upon qualitative interviews with a limited number of employees with different occupations, within a major publicly-funded Swedish theatre institution.Contemporary research indicates both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as essential for how we experience and commit ourselves to our work, either as two separate forces but also as they interact.Extensive studies further state our individual experience from work, the conditions provided by the organization and social environment as crucial to our work performance. A positive experience from these factors enhance our motivation and creativity.The results of this study show theatre to be an activity supported by strong visions and clear goals where challenge and creativity are essential and where it´s members show strong commitment to the task whether they are beside or on the stage..

The purpose of this master?s thesis was to find problems that occur in the production line at Atlas Copco Rocktec Division, in order to decrease the costs of defect in quality. When the problems were distinguished, the authors ought to choose the problem with the highest improvement potential. One request from the constituent at Atlas Copco Rocktec Division was to connect the improvement to the document The Way We Produce. The document provides information and values about Atlas Copco and consists of 10 principles to be able to reach their vision.

An organization must manage its resource consumption and material flows in order to satisfy the demand of its products as efficiently as possible. Managing of the aforementioned requires a balance between the organizations resources (such as the capability of distribution and production) and the market demand. According to Gardner (1990), an estimation of future demand is a necessity for maintaining the balance. An instrument that is used frequently to estimate future demand is demand forecasting. The demand forecasting practice has been thoroughly studied and a plethora of academic contributions exist on the topic.

De senaste åren har Försvarsmakten genomgått en stor förändring från invasionsförsvar till ett flexibelt insatsförsvar. I takt med denna förändring har även karaktären på de uppgifter som insatsförsvaret ställs inför ändrats. Ett exempel på detta är insatsen i Adenviken där hotet är i form av små snabba fartyg med mål och medel som sträcker sig utanför en reguljär styrkas. De svårt sjuka människor som får möjligheten att genomgå en transplantation får chansen till ett nytt liv. Det är viktigt att sätta sig in i hur patienten upplever väntan för att som vårdpersonal kunna ge ett bra bemötande och en god omvårdnad. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att ur ett patientperspektiv beskriva den känslomässiga upplevelsen av att vänta på en organtransplantation.Metod: Litteraturstudien bygger på åtta kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat: Att vänta på en organtransplantation beskrevs som smärtsamt samtidigt som det gav patienterna tid att förbereda sig.

This thesis aim to investigate the living conditions among marginalized habitants of suburbs in the Swedish welfare state. To approach an understanding of the complexity of marginalized urban areas, this thesis focus on studying the Stockholm suburb Husby in a context of the May riots 2013.The research method used is qualitative interviews with seven informants, who have a connection to the Husby area.The theories applied to the empirical material is Gösta Esping-Andersens theory on welfare state regimes and Loïc Wacquants theory on advanced marginality, also known as ?The new urban poverty?.By observing the complexity of the Husby riots in a contextual aspect of the Swedish welfare state and the living situation in Husby, the analysis has shown that the Swedish welfare model is going through a changing process. This process means a shift from a social democratic welfare model towards a more liberal regime, with an increased privatization of public welfare and a focus on individual responsibility regarding the citizens own living conditions. Husby as an area is characterized by a low socioeconomic status, a high level of unemployment and poor school results.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the media discussions of the rape in Bjästa 2009 and to reveal how stereotypical illusions of ethnicity, religion and gender affect how media understands and defines violence. The rape in Bjästa occurred in a ?Swedish context? but has been defined as honor related in other arenas outside media. This discussion occurred because the whole village turned against the woman that was raped and supported the perpetrator? a phenomena that speaks against the idea of an equal society and a behavior that is usually understood as honor related and something that the ?others? do.

Bakgrund: Infertilitet och ofrivillig barnlöshet har visats beröra många centrala aspekter i en persons liv. Det påverkar det sociala och känslomässiga livet, och kan leda till att identiteten hotas och lidande uppstår. Trots detta finns få studier gjorda på mäns upplevelser till följd av ofrivillig barnlöshet, tidigare forskning har mestadels undersökt området ur ett kvinnligt perspektiv. Syfte: Syftet med arbetet var att beskriva mäns upplevelser av ofrivillig barnlöshet. Metod: En analys av 11 kvalitativa studier utfördes efter sökning i databaserna Cinahl och PubMed.

Bakgrund: Fibromyalgi är ett syndrom och ett kroniskt tillstånd som orsakar smärta, ömhet och stelhet i rörelseorganen. Fibromyalgi karaktäriseras också av sömnstörningar, fatigue, ångest, depression och problem med tarmfunktionerna. Syfte: Att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med fibromyalgi och vilka copingstrategier de använder för att hantera sin situation. Metod: Litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design. Resultat: Kvinnor med fibromyalgi upplevde en oförutsägbar fluktuerande och utbredd smärta, en ständigt närvarande fatigue, stelhet samt kognitiva svårigheter.
