The aim of this study was to understand how social workers perceive and understand violence and threats of violence from clients, and how it effect their working environment. It seems that the respondents understand the violence and threats of violence from clients as a result of the clients background problems, vulnerability, dependency and from ?the reason" that the client is currently in the contact with the organization. How respondents interpret the client´s behaviour based on the above-mentioned factors, seem to determine how the respondents perceive and define the violence and threats of violence by clients directed against them. Interestingly enough, although all respondents in the study experienced violence and threats of violence from clients, none of them perceived themselves as exposed at work. The answer to this is consensual.

Ådalen 1931 - Göteborg 2001, A comparison of two incidetns that upsett Sweden. An essay about how the press in Norrbotten wrote about the Incidents in Ådalen 1931 and Göteborg 2001. The main questions are: Is there any parrallells in how the swedish state acted? Is there any parrallells in how the press acted? In what way have the state and the press acted different 2001 compared to 1931? What does eventual differences in their actions depend on? Vi har i detta arbete valt att djupintervjua en erfaren lärare och ta del av dennes livsberättelse. Den lärarforskning som bedrivits har i många fall fokuserat endast på lärarens praktiska arbete. För att förstå undervisningen till fullo, är det av vikt att också veta någonting om personen bakom arbetet, detta med tanke på att en persons erfarenheter sätter prägel på undervisningen. Vårt syfte med detta arbete har varit att genom livshistoriemetoden få förståelse för vilka avgörande händelser (så kallade critical Incidents) som påverkat en lärare under dennes lärargärning. För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats, där vi valt att observera och intervjua den berörda läraren.

Syftet med studien är att få en djupare förståelse för hur lunchmåltiden ser ut på förskolor med olika pedagogiska inriktningar. Detta får vi genom att undersöka om man kan se spår av dessa under måltidssituationen. I studien tar vi även reda på vilka spår av Lpfö 98 som framkom under lunchsituationen. Inriktningarna som ingår i arbetet är Montessori, Reggio Emilia och ?I ur och skur?.

ABSTRACTAim: The aim of this study was to examine differences in the documentation of the case incident reports, before (FRP) and after (FRE) the introduction of a quality standard for fall prevention in the geriatric departments at a Swedish University hospital. Method: 51 fall incident reports were collected before the introduction of quality standards for fall prevention and 63 after. Differences in documentation between the fall incident reports were analyzed with a Chi-2 test. Results: Number of case Incidents in which the use of the alarm mat was documented increased after the introduction of quality standards for fall prevention and documented use of shoes and walker decreased. The majority of all documented case Incidents occurred inside the patient room according to both FRP and FRE.

Many traffic Incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of Incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. These measures may be considered to be acts of so-called passive safety. Active safety on the other hand, means that the safety systems intervene before the Incidents have occurred.

Enligt många psykoterapiforskare förklarar arbetsalliansen en stor del av variansen i behandlingsutfallet. Tidigare kvantitativ forskning anger att variationer av terapeutens egenskaper, personliga drag och interventionsteknik stärker eller hindrar arbetsalliansen. Denna undersöknings syfte var att explorativt undersöka terapipatienters egna uppfattningar av alliansförknippade faktorer. Nio patienter i pågående psykoterapi intervjuades med Critical Incidents Technique. Tematisk analys resulterade i tre huvudkategorier av allianskopplade faktorer: Inom Stärkande faktorer betonades terapeutens strukturansvar, villkorslösa värme och respekt, auktoritet, förmåga till känslohantering och medvetandegörande.

The 1900s saw two Incidents of states using their military in civil disorder situations, which resulted in the killing of unarmed citizens. May 14, 1931 in Ådalen, marks a significant part of Swedish history and its view of the use of military force.  On that day, a peaceful protest march escalated, which resulted in live firing by the military stationed there to uphold law and order. This resulted in the deaths of five civilians and the prohibition of the use of military force in Incidents of civil disorder. The Swedish Aviation Safety Authority has decided to standardise a classification system for reporting deviations found in inspections. The purpose of a classification system is that similar deviations always should be reported in the same way since this will enable better decisions regarding different risk areas. The inspectors are therefore constrained to use a standardised classification system and are not free to use their own words when reporting deviations. A hierarchal classification system with predefined phrases is in aviation referred to as taxonomy. Taxonomy is already in use when reporting accidents and Incidents but not when reporting deviations found in inspections.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the legal protection against sexual harassment at work functions, and where to draw the line. The study is limited to focus on the sexual harassment directed at women from men, because it usually occurs that way even though only a few report the Incidents. The results are discussed from a gender perspective on how the distribution of power is between men and women as a way to explain sexual harassment.Sexual harassment is currently protected by the discrimination law and the EU principle of equal treatment for men and women. For a behavior to be considered as sexual harassment it has to be unwanted by the receiving party and the person practicing the harassments must be aware that the behavior is perceived as offensive. The behavior shall be of a sexual nature and contribute to a disadvantage for the victim in the form of a violation of that persons integrity.It is the victim that determines whether the behavior is perceived as sexual harassment or not, what one person believes is a friendly behavior may be perceived as offensive by another.

Our study is based on a number of specifically selected Incidents which show the consequences these disruptions cause in management, security and quality within the operation. Our intention was also to examine what role the medical technology department of the hospital plays in the care production operation during these unplanned stoppages. Method:Through a qualitative study we have generated material from a number of interviews with staff working in the hospital of Kalmar.

The purpose of this examination paper has been to examine the situation for Swedish as a Second Language Programs in relationship to their interaction with the parents of the stu-dents. This case study was performed at two schools in the county of Stockholm. A com-parative analysis of both national and local documents for school governance was used to analyse the contents for Incidents of parental involvement in schooling. Furthermore, qualitative semi-structured interviews were carried out with five staff-members holding key positions. The findings of the study are that schools tend to practice parental involve-ment only to the level that it is recommended in the national documents.

The question formulation for this work has been "is an ice-hockey audience influenced by music during time-outs in a game?". The method was to observe one period with Färjestads BK and Mora IK, but a recording was also made, together with a conversation with the arena DJ. From the recording, the audience reactions were graded from a given scale. The grades were compilated to a diagram that shows the audience reactions in relation to the time, from the first face-off to the final whistle.

En positiv eller negativ livsinställning, djur, natur, tro och utbildning, är det faktorer som har skyddande egenskaper? Personerna som fått behandling professionellt, har bearbetat händelserna de varit med om bättre än de som inte har fått hjälp med bearbetning. De personer som har en positiv livsinställning, i kombination med att de fått professionell hjälp av någon, har bearbetat de traumatiska händelser de varit med om bättre, än personer som har en negativ livsinställning, eller inte fått professionell hjälp. Några av personerna som intervjuats har även haft stor hjälp av att vistas ute i naturen tillsammans med sina hundar. Hundarna har varit ett stort stöd mentalt och en god vän som lyssnat när de mått dåligt..
