Den här uppsatsen behandlar ett konstnärligt projekt där upphovsmannen komponerade ett jazzverk om cirka 45 minuter. Syftet är att utveckla och pröva olika strategier för att komponera längre sammanhändande verk för jazzensemble. Vanligtvis har kompositionen en underordnad roll inom jazzmusik. Formuppbyggnaden är ofta enkel till förmån för improviserandet. Här ligger dock fokus på kompositionen och upphovsmannen undersöker hur man kan gå tillväga för att komponera ett stort verk.

Introduction:During a crisis in the society, the communication from the responsible authorities is of big importance. This study shows how the authorities worked with their crisis communication towards the general public during the waterleak in Kalmar in december, 2010.Purpose:The purpose of this study is to investigate how the responsible authorities in Kalmar worked with their crisis communication during the waterleak and also how the general public perceived the crisis communication.Methodology:The study is based on a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative methodology. We begin to work with qualitative interviews with the responsible authorities to get information about the actual event and their work with the crisis communication towards the general public through the mass media. Then we investigate how the general public in Kalmar perceived the crisis communication from the responsible authorities and compare these two results.Conclusion:The study shows that there were several problems, both internally and externally, with the crisis communication from the responsible authorities during the waterleak. Although some people were dissatisified with the responsible authorities crisis communication, the majority were pleased and very satisfied with the information they got from the responsible authorities during the waterleak..

This master thesis is about the production of the record ?Brutus? with the band ?Trilobit?. Trilobit consists of the three musicians, myself, Stina Hellberg Agback on pedal harp, Simon Sva?rd on guitar and Karl Jansson on drums.During the production, I have analyzed different aspects of my own musicality and also the role of the pedal harp in jazz. I have found techniques that have simplified chromatic movements on the pedal harp, and also techniques that has developed the rhythmical aspect of my improvisation.I have also looked into my process in improvising and composing and developed new aspects, many thanks to the close collaboration with Simon Sva?rd..

Based on last years events that have taken place, events on the school Lundbergs and the police values of work, has the meaning of having a set of values been questioned. This study aimed to investigate and answer the fundamental values based on the common value basis for the government employees within an organization and how it perceived by employees. The new institutional theory was the framework for this qualitative study conducted with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were employees within the organization. Ethnographic qualitative methodology was the basis for our methodology and we used a thematic model of theme interpretation, communication and knowledge in our analysis.

Att med hjälp av improvisation framföra koraler med olika harmoniseringar och med olika tekniska modeller för att framhäva dess Cantus Firmus är en mycket gammal metod. Detta är en del av utbildningen och en del av yrkesstoltheten hos kyrkomusiker. Cantus Firmus kan framhävas på flera sätt, exempelvis om den spelas på separat manual med solistisk registrering. Då spelas Cantus firmus i sopran- eller i tenorläge. Vidare kan koralen harmoniseras om i tonala varianter, med utgångspunkt i koralbokens harmonisering eller i exempelvis senromantisk stil.

Komponera och improvisera fram musik, för Orgel och piano, har jag alltid tyckt varit jättekul och inte så svårt. Men att behöva tänka kring det, bestämma karaktär, tempo, stil, eller att det måste vara färdigt till en viss tidspunkt m.m. har jag alltid vetat om att jag inte är bra på, eller tyckt varit så inspirerande att göra. Objective: The objective of this study is to examine the extent to which the London stock exchange and the US stock exchange Nasdaq respectively contributes to the price discovery of Swedish stocks listed on the Stockholm stock exchange, the London stock exchange and the US stock exchange Nasdaq.Method: The study is a replicate study of the studies by Grammig, Melvin and Schlag (2000) and Eun and Sabherwal (2003). The methodology is based on the methodology of the latter study. The data material consisting of quoted stock prices for three Swedish stocks on the three stock exchanges at five-minute intervals during a 49-day-period in 2003 has been run through different statistical tests in a five-step process.Conclusion: The evidence of this study shows that prices on SSE, LSE and NASD are cointegrated and mutually adjusting. The evidence suggests that in all three cases, price discovery takes place on the home stock exchange SSE. Moreover, LSE contributes more to price discovery than Nasdaq.

Ground construction has to a large extent been dominated by traditional meth-ods during the last 50 years. Although the construction has been changed meanwhile innovations are not accepted. In collaboration with NCC Ltd Region South, I have examined a modern con-struction methodology that has been developed by NCC for future large pro-jects. Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka hur dramapedagogik kan användas inom företagsutbildning, och att diskutera dess eventuella för- och nackdelar. Genom att använda oss av kvalitativa intervjuer och en workshop har vi sökt ta reda på hur människor i olika positioner uppfattar dramapedagogik.Metod och teori: De metoder vi har använt oss av är kvalitativa intervjuer med en dramapedagog, en personalchef och en medarbetare, en workshop med tio projektledare som fått göra värderingsövningar och rollspel samt en enkätundersökning. I teoriavsnittet har vi beskrivit dramapedagogik samt tagit fram fyra grundstenar för en effektiv företagsutbildning. Vi definierar dramapedagogik som en pedagogisk metod där fokus ligger på processen och deltagarnas egna erfarenheter. Det finns olika metoder inom dramapedagogik, de vi berör är rollspel, improvisation och värderingsövningar.

Detta är en jämförande studie av textförfattarverktyg och dess påverkan på min skapandeprocess. Mitt syfte var att undersöka hur skapandeprocessen påverkas av olika textförfattartekniker och vilka verktyg jag får mest nytta av i mitt egna textskapande.Jag genomförde detta genom att skriva sex låtar och genom att dokumentera skapandet av dessa för att sedan diskutera verktygens påverkan på texternas skapandeprocess.Jag fick en djup insikt i textförfattandets hantverk och en del av de verktyg man kan använda som hjälpmedel för sitt textskapande. Jag har insett att alla verktyg inte är optimala i alla avseenden och att jag gärna väljer verktyg beroende på vilken typ av låt jag ämnar skriva. Jag har även funnit en kedja av verktyg och moment som jag känner mig bekväm i och som hjälper mig prestera bättre än när jag skriver texter utan verktyg. .

Universal Design is a well established methodology with the fundamental purpose of designing products to be usable for as wide audience as possible, without the need of special adjustment to suit the individual. In this essay, Universal Design has had a clear influence in both the process and the result. MyTobii C8 is an 8" touch screen computer with a windows based operating system which will initiate the software MyTobii C-Series Control. Syftet med denna uppsats är att ge en förståelse för hur en kompositionsprocess kan se ut. Analysen följer, genom skisser och loggbok, komponerandet av de två verken The Legend of Baddabah för kammarensemble och Reflektioner över trasig vänskap för symfoniorkester. Materialet ses i relation till tidigare forskning av kompositionsprocessen och undersöker hur Stan Bennetts schematiska modell stämmer in på mitt arbetssätt. Jag redogör för hur två egna verk komponeras från första idé till färdigt partitur. I diskussionen behandlas dels hur Bennets modell till vissa delar stämmer överens med min skapandeprocess, dels hur jag använder olika metoder när jag komponerar som improvisation och matematik, dels hur jag låter personer i min omgivning påverka min gestaltning av musiken, och dels hur tidspressen tvingar mig till handling..
