Inverse Discrete Cosine Transform by Bit Parallel Implementation and Power Comparision

The goal of this project was to implement and compare Invere Discrete Cosine Transform using three methods i.e. by bit parallel, digit serial and bit serial. This application describes a one dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform by bit prallel method and has been implemented by 0.35 ìm technology. The aim of the study is to describe how toddlers at pre-school interact with each other during the free play. The following research-questions have been chosen: In which ways are made visible when toddlers interact with each other during the free play? Which repeated patterns are there in toddler?s interaction with each other?The method that was used was observation. Implementing of observations happened during five days on a pre-school. Observations show that the interaction makes visible in various ways when it comes to toddlers, for example through observing, laughing and using the verbal communication.

Internal marketing has been proposed as a means of gaining competetive edge in a market where service quality is an important precursor to performance. Modeling and simulation is growing ever more important in the development of new products. This thesis describes the use of Hopsan for hydraulic modeling and its use in conjunction with Simulink with the intent of using the model in a hardware-in-the-loop setup. A sensor layer has been created in Simulink to emulate all the internal sensors in a modern forklift. The details of using legacy C-code instead of a hardware MCU for a fully simulated environment, software-in-the-loop has been outlined. There are two major routes one can follow Implementing software-in-the-loop, exporting the C-functions to CAPL via a export layer or creating an s-function in Simulink.

ABB Capacitors Ludvika started their LEAN-project in november 2010, but still has not the whole factory been introduced to the LEAN-tool called 5S. 5S is only implemented on the ?easiest? work-areas.By Implementing 5S, at the workingstation called inburkningen, would make the workstation and the area around it much more structured, clean and systematized. The operators are a little bit skeptical to the work that includes continuous improvement today, because they can not see any progresses. If 5S were implememted the operators would be able to avoid searching for tools because with 5S, each tool will have a specified place at the workstation.5S would simplify the cooperation between the shifts, because 5S includes clear instructions for how the workstations will be cleaned after each shift.This report will include my recommendations, thoughts and opinions regarding however ABB Capacitors Ludvika should implement or not implement the LEAN-tool 5S.

En Fallstudie av Implementeringen av EU:s Minoritetsskydd

The intention of this thesis in political science is to understand how the European Union fights and prevents discrimination against the Roma minorities in Sweden and Romania, and how the implementation works in reality. The study consists of defining what it means to be objectively discriminated, what ethnicity really means and how the implementation process consist of a comparison and statement has been made by the national governments and comparing how two socioeconomically different member states handle EU directives and implement them in Sweden and Romania. The main findings of this study was that EU policies lack the capital and explicitness that is needed for great results to be accomplished and that the governments in both countries have different issues with Implementing the protection of the human rights and Roma culture, and that EU needs to be more practical and develop in a faster pace. .

Method: A qualitative literature analysis was conducted, encompassing 10 qualitative articles. Gamification av digitalt lärande : En studie av attityder om spelelement i lärplattformar

Society today is characterized by the transforming effect IT has had, the majority of the activities we perform on a daily basis involves one way or another digital technology. One area which has not yet seen the positive effects of IT is education. Despite the progress of technology, the school education has barely changed since it first saw the light of day. Our goal with this study is to investigate the possibility of Implementing Gamification elements in educational environments and examine whether it could increase our young students learning motivation.
