Kontorshotell Jonsereds fabriker - Fastighetsutveckling av gammal verkstadslokal
This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

The transformation within the swedish infrastructure has been a slow process from thebeginning of time. This bachelor thesis focuses mainly oncontracting regarding design-build-operate-main (DBOM), the new contracting formulabetween the owner and the contractor.

Finansiella värderingsmodeller : En empirisk studie
This study tests two financial valuation models empirically by valuing three stocks from three industries, with the purpose of studying how well valuation models work empirically and to make a forecast. The models which will be tested are residual income valuation and discounted cash flow. Nine stocks will be picked strategically from the Swedish stock market and additional analysis will follow in the analysis chapter.Based on analysis and valuation, the commodities industry has decent valuation as the healthcare industry is undervalued thanks to the high valuation of AZN. The energy industry has low value due to the capital intensive nature of the industry. When it comes to the models and their practical implementation, DCF has been the most problematic to apply empirically whereas RIV was better but it still shows extreme values, which teaches the student the clear difference between theory and empiri..

All small- and medium-sized family owned enterprises need to sooner or later undergo a change of ownership. When the elder generation is approaching their retirement they have to make a choice; either hand over the business to the younger generation or sell it to an outsider. The succession of the family owned business can create a life long dilemma for the entrepreneur. From the view of taxation there are, according to current legislation, no reasons to plan the succession to the younger generation. If no preparation has been done, the optional law system concerning inheritance will divide the property left.

Utvärdering av produktionsledarens användning av Holmen Skogs datorbaserade stödsystem vid operativ planering av avverkning
The forestry companies? operational planning process is these days dependent on reliable, efficient and user-friendly computer-based support systems. This study is an evaluation of Holmen Skog's current computer-based systems.
The aim of this study is to:
? investigate the work pattern of the production managers when using the information system to plan the harvesting operation;
? investigate the efficiency and user friendliness of the information system with the different work patterns and to find the strengths, weaknesses and bottlenecks in the current system;
? find out if the type of object, the volume, the area of the harvesting object affects the time and work pattern;
? examine how this type of study is met by the employees and what factors that is critical to avoid feelings of intrusion.
The conclusions of the study were:
? there is a large variation between the work patterns of the production managers and the time spend to perform the operational planning;
? the mainframe computer system used by Holmen Skog is clear, has short response times, is robust and conveys relevant information;
? the computer systems are however divided in many subsystems.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the new real estate brokerage Act and to see whether the main intent, to strengthen the consumer protection, has been fulfilled through the implementation of the 2011 Act. The real estate agent legislation is made to protect both the buyer and seller throughout the property transaction. Although the intent is to protect the consumer, it is not unusual that disputes arises. To avoid disputes concerning the property transaction, the 2011 legislation opens up for greater transparency in the mediation process. The protection for the consumer has been considerably stronger since the 2011 legislation was implemented.

The Swedish National Rail Administration has changed in the past decade, from its origin after a less dramatic separation from the Swedish State Railways to becoming an authority with its own identity. Today the National Rail Administration is a large organisation with several different departments, each with its own unique function. To operate train services the railway needs to be ?in shape?, leading to a need for maintenance, reinvestments and new investments. For this purpose, the National Rail Administration carries out public procurement where contractors, who are able to perform maintenance and new construction, submit tenders.
Samarbete mellan lantbruksföretag : möjligheter och problem
Nowadays, cooperation is necessary and this study tries to illuminate the possibilities and problems about cooperation in fiction between 7 small/midsize farms in Skåne. Conventional Farming is done with grain and sugarbeets as specialization. Calculation of machine costs have been done and compared in the study, both for the farms in thorough and the fictitious operation companies. Business ratios as depreciation/ha, interest/ha and maintenance/ha have been calculated.
In this essay we present a proposal about how a practical implementation can be done. In the proposal there is an example how the distribution of work can be done.
Kulturkrock : en studie om den estetiskt tilltalande utformningen av byggnader som konstverk och kulturell planering
Bakgrunden till denna uppsats grundas i ett egenintresse i förvandlingen av stationshuset i Vara. Sedan jag genom mina föräldrar som bor kvar i orten, på tidig vår 2010 fick reda på att huset skulle bli korallrött har detta numer blåa konstverk retat mig. Detta kandidatarbete har gett mig möjligheten att på ett vetenskaplig sätt utröna bakomliggande orsaker till stationshusets förvandling till det Vara kallar, Sveriges största konstverk. Syftet med denna uppsats är att utreda hur den estetiskt tilltalande utformningen av byggnader vilka klassas som konstverk bör regleras enligt Plan- och Bygglagen och vilken roll kulturell planering spelar i den estetiskt tilltalande utformningen av den offentliga miljön. Genom två olika typer av fallstudier har tre olika konstverksprojekt studerats och analyserats utifrån inventeringar, observationer, intervjuer och innehållsanalys om bland annat begreppen byggnad, estetik och konstverk.
Internmarknadsorientering : Förutsättningar för effektiv intern marknadsföring
Internal marketing has been proposed as a means of gaining competetive edge in a market where service quality is an important precursor to performance. Still, the practical application of internal marketing remains relatively limited, which is hypothesized to be partly attributable to a widespread lack of the required philosophy which facilitates the effective implementation of internal marketing. The concept of internal market orientation (IMO) has been proposed as an accurate representation of this philosophy. This thesis attemps to assess the relevance of an IMO in relation to the internal marketing activities of an organisation. The findings of the study imply that IMO related activities impacts the effectiveness of internal marketing and that it thus provides a valuable tool in the process of implementing internal marketing strategies..

För att komma fram till goda lösningar har litteratur- ochinformationsstudier, intervjuer med erfarna personer samt inventeringar av området gjorts. Förslagen åskådliggörs i form av ritningar samt 3D-vyer.Fyra förslag till förnyelse har tagits fram med olika grad av åtgärder, där två av dem kräver en omprövad detaljplan. Generella åtgärder, vilket gäller i samtliga förslag, är betydelsefulla lösningar för att växa mot rollen som ett hållbart bostadsområde.
