The purpose of this essay is to compare a theoretical strategic process model with the strategic work in a Swedish bank. The reason of the comparison was to identify which key success factors that is essential in strategic implementation processes. To make this study feasible three qualitative interviews were executed and it also presents data from a quantitative survey performed by the bank. The theory of the study examines eight different parts that needs to be looked at attentively when new strategies are formulated. The results points out that the work at large correspond, nevertheless the theoretical framework points out the importance of the business mission to impregnate the whole strategic process.

The essay treats how a process of implementation was executed and the teachers? relation to two curricula, Lpo94 and Lgr11, with two different grading systems, which have functioned as models for one and the same year. The purpose is to investigate the ways in which a change in curricula and syllabus affects teachers in their teaching and assessment practice in the subject of Swedish at secondary school. The investigation had a phenomenological approach and was executed by means of in-depth interviews, questionnaires and one observation. The results are based on a methodological triangulation with qualitative and quantitative data where visible similarities and differences are brought out.

In conjunction with an overview of the organizational structure of the municipality of Arvika the Balanced Scorecard was introduced as a management model. After the Balanced Scorecard has been in use over a period of years the conception of it varies throughout the organization.The purpose of this study is identifying which factors are facilitating and which factors are obstructing when implementing the Balanced Scorecard in the municipality of Arvika. This is a case study of the staff organization of the municipality of Arvika. The study is explanatory as our objective is to describe why the current situation appears as it does today. A qualitative method has been applied during this study.

To identify criteria/factors leading to a successful introduction of an informationmanagement system.2. To develop an implementation process for a requirement management system ?the first step towards a PLM system in EE development at VCC.This will be done through interviews with employees, a literature review and an analysisof studies of three earlier projects within VCC.The conclusion of this study shows the great need for change in work methods fordesigners handling information and requirements. Purpose: The aim of the study is to analyse why the socialworker at the socialservices havn?t implemented the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.Questions: Is the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior significant for the socialworker? Is the organisation, colleagues or de individuals thought structure of importance when it comes to implement the perspective? Does the socialworkers view of the clients as victims have an impact on the fact that the perspective has been given interest? Method: Critical case study. Flexible design; The study is based on interviews with socialworkers and study of documents and statisticsConclusion: One of the central findings of the field study was that the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior was of no use for the socialworkers as they saw it. The findings showed that the definition of a victim was not used or that they were unconscious that the definition of a victim did affect them in their work. The possibilities for the organisation to learn is of  importance for the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.

Sveriges landsting har börjat införa nya kliniska informationssystem som komplement till sina elektroniska patientjournaler. Målet är att kunna förnya och effektivisera existerande system och processer, sänka sjukvårdkostnader samt öka patientsäkerhet och kvalité i vården.Trots betydande investeringar i nya kliniska informationssystem har inga övertygande bevis kunnat presenteras för systemens övergripande effekter i organisationen. Ny forskning anser att detta huvudsakligen beror på en trög användning av nya informationssystem som varken är kompatibla eller lätt att använda, samt att verksamhetsområdena inte har lyckats återanpassa sina kliniska processer till det nya systemet. Denna fallstudie har genomförts hos verksamhetsområdet för Thoraxkirurgi och Anestesi vid Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala. Studien redogör för den medvetenhet projektledning och organisation har kring riskindikatorer och dess effekter vid införseln av ett kliniskt informationssystem. Aktuella risksamband visar att implementationen kommer leda till en trög användning av systemet på grund av att man inte lyckats återanpassa verksamhetens kliniska processer till det nya systemet.

Undersökningen behandlar problem som tidigare forskning har uppmärksammat kring användandet av standarden XMI. XMI är avsedd för utbyte av modeller mellan modelleringsverktyg. Problem som uppmärksammats i användningen av XMI är att information om modeller inte alltid utbyts korrekt mellan verktyg. Detta kan resultera i att viktig information om modellerna går förlorad.Undersökningen har till syfte att undersöka huruvida det är möjligt att extrahera data från modeller sparade i XMI-format utan tillgång till DTD eller XML-schema. En sådan möjlighet skulle kunna användas för att rädda information om modeller som annars skulle gå förlorad.Den metod som har används för undersökningen är litteraturstudie, experiment och implementation samt hypotesprövning.

In Rio De Janeiro, 1992, was the first document signed that meant a responsibility for industrial countries to decrease their emissions, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Thirteen years later was the first legal binding document signed, the Kyoto protocol, and for the first time industrial countries all over the world was bound to decrease their emissions on greenhouse gases. Within the framework of this commitment, three flexible mechanisms (Clean Development mechanism, Joint Implementation and Emission trading) were introduced with the function to reduce the economical costs of the commitment. The aim of this study was to compare educational systems in Sweden, Czech Republic, Italy and Scotland. In the light of the Bologna Declaration signed in 1999, I was particularly interested in comparing social work educations in these four countries. Especially to clarify how far they have come to fulfill the goals of the common European educational policy.Central questions asked were: How do the educational systems look like in each of the four countries? How are the social work educations organized in each of them? In what ways do the social work educations differ? How can we explain such differences?Each country in this study represents a different welfare regime, and therefore I was challenged to find out if this has an impact on the implementation of the incentives of the Bologna Declaration. By studying various documents from the European Union, documents from each country and presentations of various social work programmes, I have come to the conclusion that the differences found mainly depends on the historical and socioeconomic traditions in the countries.

The aim of this dissertation is to examine why smaller municipalities[1] in Sweden experience difficulties when implementing the 16 environmental objectives that are designed to solve Sweden's environmental problems.The theoretical framework used for this dissertation is implementation theory which provides three conditions that need to be met in order to have a successful implementation.  These three conditions have shaped the research questions that examine if Torsby municipality has the "understanding," "ability" and "will" needed to implement the decision correctly.  The dissertation employs a case study method to examine why Torsby municipality has experienced difficulties implementating the target: programmes and strategies for planning, which is an interim target to environmental objective number 15: A good built environment.  Qualitative text analysis and interviews with politicians and civil servants from Torsby municipality and the county administration board of Värmland have been conducted in order to answer the research questions.   The material used for this dissertation is mostly from the government bills that are the foundation of the Swedish environmental policy and the documents and reports about the environmental objectives that the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket), the Swedish Environmental protection agency (Naturvårdsverket), and the Environmental objectives council (Miljörådet) have released.The result of this dissertation supports previous research which has shown that smaller municipalities have problems implementating the environmental objectives due to a lack of financial resources. This dissertation also shows that the problems can be due to a lack of understanding the purpose of the objectives.  This leads to a lack of political will to implement the objectives.  Since the municipalities do not have the political will to implement the objectives the appropriate resources needed for a successful implementation are not appointed and therefore the municipalities are not able to fully implement the environmental objectives. [1] Municipalities with less than 20 000 inhabitants..

This report describes the design and implementation of a multi-master, packet based protocol for small and tiny microcontrollers where resources are limited. The protocol was named "Tiny Controller Network" or TCN for short. The protocol is meant mainly as a control bus for automation and sensor acquisition applications but due to its flexibility can also be used for other purposes as well. It borrows some of its functionality and design ideas from the well known CAN bus and Modbus but also has a number of major differences like the use of standard hardware and time synchronisation. One of the key aspects during the design was the use of very little system resources and common on-chip hardware peripherals like a UART.

Nyckelord används på ett flertal sätt för att nå högre rankning i sökmotorresultaten på webben och många författare inom ämnet beskriver hur viktigt det är att använda rätt nyckelord när man sökop-timerar sin webbplats. I litteraturen om sökmotoroptimering beskrivs och kategoriseras nyckelord på ett flertal sätt. Teori-delen i denna uppsats är tänkt att vara en samlingsplats för information om nyckelord. Detta för att skapa en samlad helhetsbild av nyckelordsprocessen och beskriva de olika kategorierna av nyckelord så att detta finns dokumenterat på ett och samma ställe. I den andra delen av uppsatsen beskrivs en empirisk studie som gjorts för att få reda på om andra manuella metoder än den traditionella brainstormingen kan användas för att ta fram passande nyck-elord till en webbsida. De testade metoderna är slumpordsassociation, negativ idégenerering och 6-3-5. Även brainstorming testades för att jämföras med de andra tre metoderna.
