In the Korean artist Hyun-Jin Kwak's ongoing project Girls in Uniform she portrays events and moments that transgress the boundaries between the ordinary and the unknown. In her photographs there are frequently ambiguous and cinematic narratives. The pictures are carefully orchestrated and constructed, but they are not spectacular. Kwak's Imagery is relatively unexplored. This thesis implements a comparative Image analysis of eight of Hyun-Jin Kwak's works, in order to investigate and interpret her Imagery.

This study investigates augmented reality using third person perspective and what precision can be achieved by using this method. There have been prior studies in regards to precision using augmented reality, however studies using third person perspective is scarce. This study presents a solution using a static camera capturing the user as well as the plane to augment from behind. This augmented Image is then transferred to a handheld device that is held by the user. Using this method the user will be free to manipulate and work with the plane without removing the device that captures the scene, a common problem when using visual reference markers in augmented reality.

The purpose of this literature review was to find common factors for the persons who predispose to eating disorders. These factors shall help the nurse to recognise early signs of eating disorder behaviors. The literature review is directed to the nurse and will answer the issue: Which groups in the community run the risk of developing eating disorders? Furthermore, this knowledge shall lead to a better understanding of persons having eating disorders and be used as an aid in his/her encounter with these patients. The method was a literature review based on eight scientific articles, which were interpreted on the basis of the competence of the nurse.

The purpose of this paper is to study Uno von Troil's book Bref rörande en resa til Island MDCCLXXII as part of the transfer of knowledge about Iceland to Sweden and Europe during the late 1700s. On the basis of discussions on travel books and the Image of 'the other', 'I will argue that von Troil, using the skills he already had access to, as well as the skills he acquired after his trip, provides a multifaceted picture of Iceland. At the same time, I will examine how von Troil conveys information about Iceland both to a Swedish and a European audience and illustrate his network relationships and career aspirations..

Since the financial crisis of 2007, the global financial market has been characterized by instability. At the same time the banks? lending rates and its link to the reporänta have been in the spotlight in various debates in the media. The government with Anders Borg leading the charge has criticized the banks for not lowering their lending rates when the reporänta has been lowered. The banks defend themselves by saying that the reporänta does not have a direct link to their lending rates anymore.

The purpose of this paper has been to study how users experiences and behaviors are influenced by a "like" function, when publication of Images in social media with the photo app Instagram as the selected base. In this study respondents has been part of a study regarding their experiences and behavior related to "like" function in Instagram. The results of the question form have then been analyzed to find patterns in their behavior and to exemplify/reinforce different type of user-behavior found in related scientific articles.The study has shown that the behavior of Instagram users is affected by the "like" function, when they believes that the function is a status marker that raises the interest for certain users by the number of likes. Through my results, I have been able to amplify and illustrate several theories of Goffman, Buckingham and Gripsrud which are presented in the report..

Rondaten utförs för att gymnasten efter en löpansats ska kunna utföra övningar där kroppen förflyttar sig bakåt. SyfteSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka och jämföra tekniken i en rondat med lågt och högt poängavdrag som genomförs med trupp gymnastikteknik samt med artistisk gymnastikteknik. FrågeställningarFinns det någon skillnad i valda utförandefaktorer i en rondat med lågt poängavdrag mellan truppgymnaster och artistiska gymnaster?Hur korrelerar valda utförandefaktorer med domarens subjektiva bedömning av rondat med lågt och högt poängavdrag mellan truppgymnaster och artistiska gymnaster?Hur korrelerar valda utförandefaktorer med varandra i en rondat med lågt respektive högt poängavdrag utförd av truppgymnaster och artistiska gymnaster? MetodI studien har en kvantitativ mätmetod använts. 11 artistiska gymnaster och 8 truppgymnaster deltog vid studiens testtillfälle. Vid testtillfället genomförde varje gymnast ansats-inhopp-rondat-flickflack fyra gånger under domarbedömning samt videofilmning med höghastighetskameror. ResultatEn skillnad mellan truppgymnaster och artistiska gymnaster vad gäller vissa avgörande utförandefaktorer registrerades i studien.

This situation leads to increased cooperation and exchange, but also increased competition. The primary means of collecting empirical data for this study was interviews and a document study.

Det ena kopplat till modernismen, det andra till postmodernismen.Hegels erkännandebegrepp och Nietzsches idé om vår vilja till makt relateras till modernismen respektive postmodernismen, och observationerna som gjorts under intervjuer med 13 gymnasieungdomar tolkas med hjälp av dem.I analysen bearbetas fyra teman som synliggjorts i intervjuerna. För det första, det frekventa ?rundkollandet? på vad andra gör, vilket ses dels som en kul grej, dels som meningslöst.

In this study I will analyze how men who buy sex interact with one another on two different Internet communities: ?Sekreterarakademin? and ?Flashback?. This analysis is carried out in an attempt to challenge the conventional Image of the man who pays for sex.The aim is to examine the role of Internet forums for men who buy sexual services related to cross-border, both in terms of standard borders, gender boundaries, boundaries of sexuality and masculinity. I will also attempt to investigate what opportunities that are available to overrun different borders and how these opportunities affect the conditions of the various players. I will evaluate theories such as homosocialtet, hegemonic masculinity and normalization used by KAST (Köpare Av Sexuella Tjänster, the Swedish public support for clients of sexual services) and which are partially consolidated in studies published by KAST concerning issues related to internet based prostitution..

The foundation for this thesis lies in whether or not, and how, the body representation in printed commercials, specific products directed to the body (shampoo, body lotion etc.), has changed during the last fifty years. Four years have been chosen because of the changes in society that we believe might have had an impact. The commercials that have been picked out are the ones that best represent the general view of the body. We have found that the changes when it comes to body presentation has followed the social development to a certain degree, but it is difficult to say how much the society has had an affect on the body ideal in advertising. Representations of the male body is something that has escalated since the early 70?s, fifteen years earlier few commercials was made with male models, and the few there were, never showed more than the face.

With the farming methods of the past century the agricultural landscape has changed. This has led to the fact that many habitats and species have been significantly reduced. Sweden is committed to the preservation of biodiversity through various conventions and laws. In the EU's Common Agricultural Policy there are currently agro-environmental schemes, which were created as an instrument for reducing the negative impacts of agriculture on nature and environment. Within this system any farmer who perform environmental measures are financially compensated for this.

Visby is a city that at first glance is of medieval origins. The popular Image of scientists today is that the city was formed in the Middle Ages. According to some of the researchers Visby was formed during the Viking Age, it is based on the basis that the area has been used for a long period. Urban development in the Nordic countries is complex and there are different opinions as to why the Nordic cities emerge. It is important to shed light on the underlying process on why cities are emerging to provide clarity as to why Visby city is emerging.
