Sverige ? ett varumärke? : Hur Visit Sweden marknadsför Sverige internationellt
Bakgrund: Till år 2020 ska antalet exportmogna svenska destinationer ha mer än fördubblats. Detta enligt projektet Nationell strategi som bland andra aktörerna Visit Sweden, Svensk Turism och Swedavia igår i. Visit Swedens roll i projektet är att marknadsföra Sverige till målgrupper utomlands.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur Visit Sweden arbetar för att marknadsföra Sverige och dess destinationer till sina utvalda målgrupper internationellt.Frågeställning:Hur arbetar Visit Sweden för att attrahera utvalda målgrupper?Vilken kommunikation finns med målgrupperna?Hur arbetar Visit Sweden för att stärka Sveriges image hos resenärerna?Metod: I denna uppsats har kvalitativa metoder använts med djupintervjuer och litteraturstudier för att ge författarna en bredare och djupare bild av ämnet för att kunna svara på frågeställningarna. Intervjuer gjordes med representanter från Visit Sweden och Svenska Institutet.Teori: De teorier som utgör uppsatsens teoretiska referensram berör image, integrerad marknadskommunikation, positionering, differentiering samt platsmarknadsföring.Slutsats: Visit Sweden definierar sina målgrupper utifrån analyser för att kunna rikta marknadsföringen till rätt målgrupp.

Kungsmarken, a apartment area in Karlskrona has suffered the medias prying eye
for decades. Today the area only maintains a very low position of status in the
livinghierarchy in the community. The area in question was a part of the
"Miljonprogrammet" and apperantly has suffered the same consequenses as similar
areas since it was built. The onesided negative discourse that has persecuded
areas of Miljonprogrammet, such as Kungsmarken, has put social problems as
criminality, drugaddiction, dependancy on the social welfare system or cultural
incompetence in the focus. The author´s previous understanding of the phenomena
lies in private experience from living in Hjällbo, a similar area in Gothenburg
also with the miljonprogram.

Regardless of opinions on the matter, we find it safe to say that political television commercials will have a great influence on future election campaigns in Sweden. Hence, we find it of great interest and importance to examine these seven commercials in order to look for tendencies, strategies and trends within the material. Theories: The theory chapter includes Communication, Political communication, Videostyle, Commercial strategies, Rhetoric and Semiotics. Methodology: The survey is based upon two qualitative analyses, a rhetorical analysis and a semiotic analysis.

The Irish immigrants have been an important part of London throughout the centuries. Their presence can be found from the 17th century and onwards. Initially occupied as seasonal workers in agrarian fields the Irish later found alternative ways of supporting themselves as the Industrial Revolution transformed the whole of England. Despite their vital importance to the construction of what was to be known as "the modern Babylon" the Irish have been victims of both social prejudice and maltreatment. Some historians have imposed a comparison between the Irish in England and the African slaves in the United States.

The exclusion of visually impaired from the information flow presented to us through signs was what led me into this project. With a growing amount of information being presented to us on signs and digital information surface the need of communicating this information in a way that could be read by visually impaired is evident. Looking into different ways of communication, my goal was to create something that filled the need of the visually impaired without branding them as disabled. Having a close relative with bad eyesight is became evident on how much it limited her in her everyday life, not being able to navigate herself without the support of her husband. Through interviews with her and others with varying diagnoses I reached an insight in their situation. To my surprise they still favored a visual form of communication before an auditory or tactile form, because it?s easy to survey and quick to interpret.

This thesis aims to study brand change, which can be of interest since a brand during its lifetime can be expected to meet a lifecycle consisting of five phases; innovation, introduction, growth, maturity and recession. In order to avoid the recession phase and the sales decline that follows there is a need for a change of the brand.In order to study brand change, theoretical framework is compared to two real world cases that have gone through an active change.The conceptions of positioning, repositioning and revitalization are clarified. Positioning deals with how brands are located in customer?s minds as well as on the real market. Repositioning implies a change of the current position and is also often a move towards a new market segment.
Att vara kvinna och styrelseproffs : En kvalitativ studie om kvinnor i svenska bolagsstyrelser
AbstractThe purpose of this thesis is to examine the professional female members of a board in listed companies. During the 21st century the issue of female quotation into the executive boards was discussed in both the media and politically due to womens underrepresentation in these contexts.The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the professional female members of boards stories of the role models they have, what characteristics have evolved, the views of others, and the self image. In addition, we want to investigate how women perceive themselves in a male-dominated field to identify how the female identity is created at work.Through a qualitative research in the form of personal interviews, we have gathered empirical material that forms the basis of our results. The answers from the interviews have been analyzed with the help of relevant theories and a social constructionist approach throughout the thesis. For our theoretical approach, we primarily chose symbolic interactionism, identity theories, and concepts such as the glass ceiling and gender strategies to analyze the data.The result of the survey shows that there are many elements that play into how women form their identities.
Fyra forskares informationsförsörjning och bibliotekets roll i denna process : en fallstudie på AstraZeneca R&D i Lund
Information is essential in order for pharmaceutical companies to be successful. This essay focuses on the information provision of pre-clinical scientists at AstraZeneca R&D Lund, and the role of the company library in this process. In semi-structured interviews, four pre-clinical scientists were asked to describe their information provision regarding what type of information they need, how they find it and what sources of information they use. Four librarians from the company library were also interviewed to give their perspective on the information provision of pre-clinical scientist. The study also aimed at comparing the image of the process as described by the scientists themselves and the librarians.

To do that, I?m going to try answer the following questions:How is the Swedish security policy organized?What defence resolutions have affected the Swedish security policy after the Cold War ended?How has different political actions made its impact on the Swedish security policy after the Cold War ended?My theory is to try explain how the Swedish security policy has changed after the Cold War through a realism security perspective called traditional security, which refers to a realistic construct of the states security policy.
Mänsklig säkerhet i Sudan- För vem och mot vad?
The concept of security is a contested one. The United Nations definition in UNDPs Development report of 1994 is the most authoritive and commonly cited. The civil war in Sudan has led to 2 million deaths and over 5.5 million refugees. In a resolution from 2005, the UN decided that the war in Sudan was a threat to international security and peace. The 10th of January UN decided that a peace commission ought to be send with 10 000 military and civil men including 700 policemen.The main purpose of this thesis is to improve our knowledge of those factors which can cause an increased risk of conflict within a state, and how that can affect the social conditions for individuals.
Marknadsföringens betydelse för diskrepansen mellan företags profil och image : En fallstudie av Filippa K
Denna uppsats ämnar undersöka om ett företag som använder sig av sparsmakad marknadsföring ändå når ut med sitt budskap till sina kunder. Det företag vi valt att göra en fallstudie på är Filippa K, ett väletablerat klädföretag som inte använder reklam i någon större utsträckning, dels på grund av rädsla att varumärket ska överexponeras och förlora sitt grundläggande koncept och dels för att man från företagets sida anser sig ha tillräckligt god kännedom på den svenska marknaden. Främsta syftet med vår studie är att försöka ta reda på om kunder trots detta uppfattar Filippa K på samma sätt som företaget önskar. 30 stycken intervjuer med slumpvis utvalda kunder till Filippa K ligger till grund för vår studie, resultaten har vi sedan applicerat på fyra välkända teorier på området. Vi anser att vi kan dra slutsatsen att diskrepansen mellan profil och image är liten.

Communication is based a lot on body language. It is therefore important for the caregiver to seek eye contact with the patient in order to simplify communication and it can be of great help to show with the whole body what they mean and be able to point out things.

A large part of the Iranian population resented the west, in particular USA and Great Britain, during the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979. The people were also resenting the adverse effects of the trumped up frame made in Iran. The last shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was detested by many in Iran for its west-oriented regime. The resentment among many Iranians is a consequence of the violations of e.g. the lack of political and civil rights, there were no existing legal security in the society, there were no economic distribution and the regime of Mohammad Reza Shah violated the human rights.The resolution from an Iranian perspective for riot is not new, during the last centuries the abomination against the despotic kings have been existing varyingly and big riots have been raised. The Islamic revolution in 1979 was new because the revolution added adverse effects of west, the population detested west and expressed it by protesting through demonstration. The significance of the revolution in 1979 was also attributable to Islam.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur de som intervjuats ser på mat och ätande. Viktiga avsnitt är, vad som är mat och inte mat. Här tar jag bland annat upp vad som är mat enligt informanterna men också vad som inte är mat. Jag skriver om måltider och deras betydelse. Tid och tidsaspekter som rör mat avhandlas också.
Elvine ? är det glittriga polotröjor? - En studie om varumärkeskommunikation i butik
Idag finns det väldigt många aktörer inom modeindustrin som alla kämpar om en plats påmarknaden. Varumärket har därför blivit ett allt viktigare konkurrensmedel och ett sätt attutmärka sig och skapa mervärde för konsumenten. Vi tycker att det är intressant att se på hurett varumärke kommunicerar och om företaget bakom varumärket lyckas förmedla sittkärnvärde till konsumenten.Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att se på vad varumärket Elvine kommunicerar tillkonsument via butik. Elvine är ett Göteborgsbaserat varumärke som har skapat streetwearklädersedan år 2000. Vi ville se på om varumärket Elvines identitet stämmer överrens meddess image.
