Att marknadsföra en region : En jämförande studie om fem olika regionala turistorganisationer och deras uppbyggnad av marknadskommunikation

Inom den växande turistnäringen är det viktigt för destinationer att marknadsföra sig på ett framgångsrikt sätt för att kunna hävda sig på den globala marknaden. Bra kommunikation till marknaden är därför ett viktigt konkurrensverktyg vid arbete med destinationsutveckling. Detta kan skapa fördelar på marknaden, inte minst för de regionala turistorganisationerna som arbetar med samverkan för ett större geografiskt område med många intressenter. Detta är ett arbete som dagligen genomsyrar en organisation såsom Jämtland Härjedalen Turism och problematiken med att skapa en gemensam kommunikationsplattform. För att vägleda dem i deras arbete har syftet med denna studie varit att undersöka hur regionala turistorganisationer kan använda sig av destinationsmarknadsföring för att bygga upp en effektiv kommunikation till marknaden.

Background: A common view about people with diagnosed psychosis is that they are socially withdrawn and that they neither cope nor want to engage in social relationships. Newly published specialist books on this subject also support this view.Aims: To unveil further dimensions of the phenomena by explorative analyzing consumers? own depictions about their ?social relationships".Method: The material is taken from a larger study that followed consumers regularly during a lapse of 3 years. Within this material 15 interviews from three respondents were chosen, a selection which gives maximal spreading concerning age, sex and background. The interviews where analyzed by methods based on Grounded Theory.Results: Three main dimensions were identified: supportive relationships, difficulties and social withdrawal.

Nätbaserad utbildning för en hållbar besöksnäring

A system to regulate both quality and sustainability regarding Swedish tourism industry is under way. In order for the system to be successfull it needs to be accompanied by an education, in this case a net based education is studied.High requirements are demanded for a successful net based education for a sustainable tourism industry. This is valid both for the didactic area,  which is how an education is structured and planned and in the organisational area, which is how and education best is implemented in a company. The aim with this study is to increase the understandings of which aspects that are important for  developers  if this net based education. The study was conducted at three hostels in Stockholm with surrondings. Both managers and  employees participated in the study.  The managers where interviewed and got to answer a questionniare.

This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. This project investigated the communicational possibilities between a Smartphone and a Raspberry Pi and based on the results that emerged the conclusion can be drawn that BLE is a protocol with many beneficial applications within industrial IT..

Internationalisering på internet : ursprungslandets & språkets betydelse vid köp på internet

Vi har i denna uppsats haft som syfte att studera butikssäljare och hur de agerar i sin yrkesroll. Fokus i denna uppsats ligger på hur butikssäljarna själva upplever sin yrkesroll och de uppgifter som följer med den. Då vi har utfört denna studie utifrån en deduktiv ansats har vi använt oss av Erving Goffmans rollteorier som teoretiska antaganden. Studien har utförts utifrån en kvalitativ ansats och vi har till denna undersökning gjort ett strategiskt urval om sex informanter som alla jobbar i olika butiker. Dessa informanter har vi sedan utfört kvalitativa intervjuer med.

Mediation of fiction has always been one of the main tasks of the public library. The focus on information technology is often seen as a threat and competitor to this task. But technology can also offer new ways to mediate fiction, and the aim of this thesis is to examine how library websites and blogs can be used for this purpose. The research questions are:? What forms of fiction mediating material exist on library websites and blogs?? How is the fiction mediating material presented?? Are there any differences between the fiction mediating working methods on websites and blogs compared with those in physical libraries?The thesis is based on a qualitative content analysis of eight Swedish public library websites and three blogs, and on a theoretical frame work including literature and research on mediation of fiction, library websites and blogs, web design and usability.

As a great deal of people spend more time with their cell phones and computers than with magazines and TV, markets have begun to explore marketing possibilities in digital media. A common form of marketing in digital media is sponsorship of the cyber stars of the Internet - the bloggers. Sponsorship of bloggers has proven to be a highly efficient method for brands to gain attention and positive attitudes, as bloggers are regarded as fashion icons as well as reliable friends. Another up-to-date marketing strategy that has proved successful in gaining consumer attention is the use of incongruent elements in ads. Incongruence challenges consumer expectations and thereby demands attention.

Valda verkligheter : En studie av svenska och engelska tidningars konstruerande av verklighet i rapporteringen kring Julian Assange

This is an analysis of how the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet and the English newspapers The Independent and The Guardian reported about the sexual molestation and rape charges that were alleged against the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in August 2010. Through a critical discourse analysis, a theme- and proposition analysis and a process analysis this paper aims to investigate how the above mentioned newspapers create reality in their articles. The purpose is to shed light upon with what means the journalists through the inherited structures of the newspaper illustrate actions and events, how they let other people get visible in the text and who is described as responsible for current events.    The results of the analysis shows that Aftonbladet uses a relatively large amount of propositions and speech cues to create an image of the reality that is almost explicitly angled. Dagens Nyheter and The Independent claims a higher degree of objectivity and through micro themes with different perspectives and few explicit statements they create a reality with plenty of room for the reader to make her own conclusions. The Guardian creates an image of the world where the Wikileaks is a great force of democracy and where actions are performed by humans as well as by objects and organizations.   .

Recently the Swedish Gender Equality Agency (J?mst?lldhetsmyndigheten) published a report in March 2024 showing that women are being sexually exploited in gang environments, and the report has brought attention to women in gangs. This study examines gender-based violence in gang environments in Sweden. The aim of this study is to examine how intimate relationships with men in gang environments affect womens? agency to enter and leave gangs.

Dagens samhällsutveckling innebär att länder, regioner, kommuner och städer idag väljer att satsa på nya näringar för att få en stadig inkomst och tillväxt. Karlstad är inget undantag i detta då staden hälsar så väl invånare, besökare som företag Varmt Välkomna med varumärket ?Grader Karlstad?. Våra frågeställningar för detta arbete handlar om hur Karlstad framställs som evenemangsstad av Visit Karlstad och lokala evenemangsbolag samt vilka satsningar som kan göras i framtiden för att Karlstad ska bli en ännu mer framgångsrik evenemangsstad. Vårt syfte med arbetet är att titta på hur Karlstad framställs som evenemangsstad och vilken roll platsvarumärket ?Grader Karlstad? spelar i den framställningen.

Realistisk integrering av 3D i en verklig miljö

Det kommande innehållet i detta examensarbete kommer att handla om min frågeställning som berör integrering av 3D objekt i en verklig miljö: ?Vad finns det för metoder att integrera 3D objekt med en verklig miljö och hur gör man??.Arbetet och efterforskningen har utförts i Söderhamn, där jag har arbetet hos 3D animationsföretaget Magoo 3D Studios. Med hjälp av anställda på Magoo har jag genomfört experiment för att själv prova på de olika metoder som ska kunna besvara min frågeställning.Som resultat så har jag kommit fram till att alla divisioner inom 3D, som modellering, texturering, ljussättning och compositing kan bidra till realistisk integrering på sitt eget vis, dock i olika utsträckningar. Mina experiment har alla varit lyckade och jag känner att de är på rätt väg mot fotorealistiska resultat.I slutändan så upplever jag att de metoder som bidrar mest till en realistisk integrering är en bra ljussättning med en Image Based Lighting metod, samt att ha bra vetskap om hur en kamera fungerar för att sedan kunna efterlikna dess typiska drag samt artefakter så bra som möjligt.Kombinerar man dessa metoder så är man en bra bit in på vägen till fotorealism där man inte längre är säker på om datorgenererade bilder är riktiga eller inte..

The companies? commissions are based mostly on long-term, personal clientele. These relations are threatened by a huge number of coming retirements and high employee turnover.Consequently these companies need to improve and strengthen their relationships with existing customers, to create long-term employee and customer loyalty. Från Jalla! Jalla! till Snabba Cash : En semiotisk och retorisk kvalitativ analys av affischer från 2000-talet

Posters had their breakthrough in 1830-1840?s all thanks to the lithographic printing technique. The poster was used as an advertising tool.In this essay, we have looked at which semiotic and rhetorical elements that are found in today?s Swedish movie posters. What kind of image and text elements does the poster use and with what function? With what and how do they persuade the audience that the movies are interesting and worth seeing?We have taken the most popular Swedish movies between 2001 and 2010, one for each year, going by the statistic found at the website of the Swedish Film Institute.

3D-avatarskaparen

This project report shows the work around a mockup to a three-dimensional avatar-making application. An avatar-making application is a computer-based software program in which it is possible to create your own personal virtual character. The possibility to use three-dimensional avatars can in the future be essential for adding extra personal information or characteristics to social communication over the internet or over mobile phones. The problem of transforming a physical form and reconstruct it to a virtual basis has been an important problem to solve for many companies and software developers in the, for instance, virtual worlds area. Methods and ideas over making this transformation is the key throughout this project.
