This case study is an attempt to give empirical support to Georgio Agambens theory, regarding how the exceptions from the constitutional order should be regarded as a constant element in modern societies. The purpose was to investigate if Agambens theory is valid in the Swedish context. The exception, as definied by Agamben, is a reappearing phenomenon, which implies that the constitutional order is fragile. Individuals and groups are transferred into ?homo sacers?, meaning people that is to be regarded as legally naked, and offset from the rest of society.What then is it that make the legal norms fragile? In this thesis I will discuss the causality of moral panic.

Sex dagar senare undertecknade Bush ett direktiv vilket auktoriserade den civila amerikanska underrättelsetjänsten Central Intelligence Agency att utföra riktat dödande mot fördefinierade individer i syftet att förhindra nya attacker från terroristnätverket Al Qaeda, talibanerna och associerade styrkor. Bush initierade det amerikanska bruket av så kallade ?drone strikes? i anslutning till krigsförklaringen med intentionen att eliminera misstänkta terrorister utan möjlighet till en rättvis rättegång, Obama-administrationen har valt att fortsätta utöva policyn. Syftet med studien är att fastställa huruvida USA:s juridiska rättfärdigande och bruk av folkrätt i relation till genomförandet av riktat dödande och användandet av obemannade luftfarkoster i kriget mot terrorismen kan betraktas vara förenligt med doktrinen för just war theory och gällande internationell rätt.

Piglet survival is a problem of great significance in pig production, affecting both animal welfare and economic aspects negatively. In Sweden it is illegal to use farrowing crates for sows on regular basis. To encounter this problem there is a proposal of an animal welfare program to allow the use of crates for sows during, and a number of days after, farrowing. The proposal aims to reduce piglet mortality and improve pig welfare. This present review aims to analyse how crating affects the welfare of sows, gilts and piglets as well as piglet mortality.

Denna uppsats har skrivits i syfte att översiktligt undersöka hur hållbar den tropiska virkesproduktionen är med avseende på dess effekt på fysiska landskap och sociala strukturer. Uppsatsens syfte har dessutom varit att utforska hur landskapsarkitekter och andra tänkbara konsumenter av tropiskt virke kan välja hållbart producerade tropiska träslag eller lokala virkesalternativ med liknande egenskaper. Med utgångspunkt i uppsatsens huvudfrågeställning ? Vad behöver has i åtanke vid val av tropiskt timmer för offentliga utomhusmiljöer?? har tre underfrågeställningar formulerats. ?Hur påverkar produktionen fysiska landskap och sociala strukturer? ?Finns det lagar och certifieringssystem som kan bidra till hållbara materialval? ?Finns det lokala träslag med motsvarande eller bättre egenskaper? Uppsatsen har sammanställts genom en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Avverkning av träd i Tropikerna uppges kunna minska de tropiska skogarnas artrikedom och försämra deras ekosystemtjänster.

Throughout many years there have been discussions within the European Union (EU) regarding harmonization and improvement of accounting rules for companies with listed shares or other securities. The ambition exists to adopt, the within the union applied accounting standards, to those applied globally. These discussions lead the year 2002 to adoption by the council and parliament of international accounting standards (IFRS). The ordinance meant that all listed European companies have to adopt international accounting standards, accepted for application within the EU, for their consolidated accounts.During July 2003 the Swedish Government Official Reports issued a report (SOU 2003:71) stating, among other things, the differences and oppositions of implementing IFRS on a corporate level in Sweden, since corporate disclosure is regulated in Swedish law by Bokföringslagen (BFL) and Årsredovisningslagen (ÅRL). One of the main obstacles for the full implementation of IFRS is that a company?s annual report underlies the governmental taxation and an implementation of IFRS would affect this balance.

Den pågående processen mot en ökad användning av digitala tjänster har inte minst påverkat filmmarknaden. Digitala tjänster för filmkonsumtion, både illegal och lagliga, utmanar filmmarkadens arbetssätt och struktur, och skapar därmed ett behov av förändring. De illegala tjänsterna har etablerats tidigt och påverkar i hög grad marknaden. Särskilt tydligt är detta för den svenska filmmarknaden, där dessa tjänster används i hög utsträckning.Användningen av digitala tjänster, såväl illegala som lagliga, påverkar inte minst filmkonsumenters attityder och förväntningar på hur tjänster för filmkonsumtion bör fungera. Vanor kring nyttjande av teknik, och kring filmkonsumtion mer generellt är också intressanta att studera för att se vilka framtida förändringar i aktörernas arbetssätt som är motiverade.Studien belyser hur de olika typer av aktörer som utgör filmmarknaden idag arbetar med hänsyn till den rådande situationen, samt de förändringar i detta arbete som betingas av förändrade konsumentattityder.Studien identifierar två tydliga hot mot filmmarknadens rådande affärsmodell: minskade intäkter generellt och ett skift mot minskad konsumtion av ny film.

Songs from the Crypt: Mapping the Forces that Hinder the Digital Revolution of Music Distribution This paper seeks an explanation to the low market share growth of the commercial digital music distribution in Sweden. The analysis identifies a spectrum of obstacles that hinder the digital distribution technology from becoming the main form of music distribution in Sweden. These obstacles make the digital music distribution less favourable in comparison with physical distribution from the consumer?s point of view. The authors suggest that in order for the digital distribution of music to become competitive the digital product would either have to be developed further to offer more customer value or the so called a là carte retail model would have to be replaced by a subscription-based distribution model.

Live exports of animals began during the late 19th century and are nowadays a valuable alternative to the slaughter industry in Australia. About four million sheep and half a million to one million cattle are exported annually from Australia to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Most of these animals are exported for slaughter, but some cattle are exported with the purpose of breeding. One factor that has been the driving force for the live export industry is that countries through tariffs and other barriers have favored the import of live animals rather than the import of meat.The export means that animals with a great cognitive ability are exposed to a long chain of production from the farm to the market and there are many factors that can affect the welfare of the animals in a negative way. Some of the most serious are high temperatures and a high stocking density, although seasickness, noises and handling can also have a negative impact on the welfare of animals.

In my essay, I write about the work at a pre-school in a segregated suburb. I begin my essay with examples from my workday. In one case, it is about Sara, playing games where other children are excluded and she also exhibits a power game towards me. In the second example, it is about how a group of children conspire and expose both themselves and others for destructive conspiracy patterns. When I write down what happens in the group of children at my pre-school, I see patterns reminiscent of destructive gangs.

Syftet med rapporten var att studera möjliga återvinningstekniker för Ragn-Sells. För detta användes litteratursökning och intervjuer. Återvinningstekniker som studerats är mekanisk bearbetning, mekanisk återvinning, kemisk återvinning och viskostillverkning. Flera underklasser till dessa metoder studerades också, liksom flera sätt att tillverka återvunna produkter. Rapporten nämner ett urval av återvinningstekniker och försöker inte nämna alla tillgängliga återvinningstekniker.Återvinningsteknikerna har sorterats enligt prioriteringen i EU:s återvinningsdirektiv (2008/98/EG).

This study aims to analyse how sex and sexuality are presented in the Buddhism and Hinduism chapters of religious studies textbooks for upper secondary school. The chosen textbooks are all linked to the new curriculum Lgr 11 which was implemented in the Swedish school system in the spring of 2012. The textbooks were analysed by using two methods; content analysis and discourse analysis. Content analysis was used to examine with which frequency sexes and sexualities appear in the textbooks, while discourse analysis was used to find what discourses surround the two concepts. The discourse analysis used two theories in order to contextualize the several discourses about sex and sexuality.

Abstrakt (svenska)Bakgrund: Piratkopieringen bara ökar och ökar. Program-, spel- och musikbranschen har idag stora problem. En i stort sett okunnig användare kan fixa en nyutgiven skiva innan den nått butikerna på grund av piratkopieringen. Detta problem möjliggörs genom att ingen bra lösning finns i form av fungerande kopieringsskydd samt att fildelningstjänsterna får stort spelrum. Vi går in specifikt och undersöker musikbranschen.Syfte: Fördjupa oss i begreppet piratkopiering.

An overwhelming majority of all male piglets are castrated without anaesthesia when they are very young. In Sweden this means that approximately one and a half million piglets are castrated every year. The reason the piglets are castrated is the strong and unpleasant smell and taste, the ?boar taint? that the meat from intact boars sometimes exhibits. Boar taint is chiefly cause by androstenone and skatole, two compounds that are mostly produced by sexually mature boars and are accumulated in the subcutaneous fat.

Upphovsrätt i en digital miljö är ett dynamiskt och ständigt föränderligt rättsområde som ställer höga krav på den gällande rättens flexibilitet. Ny teknik kräver nya angreppssätt för att skydda upphovsrättshavare på Internet. I denna uppsats belyser vi hur det svenska rättssystemet anpassas för att bekämpa problemen med illegal fildelning, genom att studera gällande rätt och analysera hur den tillämpas av Sveriges domstolar. Vi har under arbetets gång kunnat se att domstolarnas huvudsakliga angreppssätt är att tillämpa medverkansansvarsbestämmelsen i BrB och utdöma ansvar för medhjälp till huvudbrottet i URL. Bland annat analyserar vi det i media mycket uppmärksammade målet om The Pirate Bay (TPB).

   Officially, Sweden has a very low level of corruption and in 2008 topped Transparency International?s list in terms of the perception of a lack of corruption. However, on closer examination it would appear that the Swedish public sector is not as clean as the Transparency International list suggests. What appears to be relatively common and quite widely accepted in Sweden, especially in local government, are conflict of interest situations in which public officials use their position to obtain advantages for themselves, their friends and their colleagues, in particular with respect to public procurement. According to the Swedish constitution, the public administration shall be governed by the principles on legality and objectivity. Grave violations of these principles are deemed illegal and contrary to the penal code provisions relating to bribery, public misconduct and breach of confidentiality.
