This thesis is basically an attempt to discuss the intrinsic intersubjective nature of the so-called Ideal sciences, i.e. geometry or arithmetic. Based upon a thorough analysis of Husserls The Origin of Geometry and Derridas Edmund Husserl's Origin of Geometry: an Introduction this thesis takes geometry as an example of an Ideal science. The main question of the thesis is how an Ideal science or object is constituted. The thesis consist of two main chapters - ?Geometry and Historicity? and ?Language?- and a concluding discussion.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lived experiences and treatment of Muslim women in their encounters with the social services. The primal themes for this study was: How does Muslim women experience the treatment of their case in the social services in a situation of need? How can the encounter and experience with the social services affect the clients trust in the social services?  What is the Ideal treatment of women with a Muslim identity by the social services?The aim of this study was to investigate and capture the respondents lived perceptions and experiences with the social services, and thus the qualitative interview methodology was implemented to answer the research questions and hypotheses. Seven interviews with Muslim women were conducted in various districts of Stockholm, a city in northern Sweden. Five of the respondents were of ethnic Swedish origin and two were of other ethic origin.The results show that the majority of the respondents experienced a negative response at least once when in contact with the social services.

Enligt psykodynamiska och kognitiva utvecklingsteorier är det, på grund av de stora psykologiska och fysiologiska förändringar som sker under denna period i livet, vanligt att flickor i tonåren oroar sig över sin egen vikt och kropp. Tidigare forskning påvisar att den ständiga exponeringen av smala Idealkroppar, som existerar i mode- och mediavärlden, förvärrar missnöjet över den egna kroppen. Syftet med denna studie var att ge en beskrivning av hur fjortonåriga flickor tänker kring vikt med fokus på kroppen och dagens Ideal. Åtta enskilda intervjuer samt en gruppintervju med fyra flickor genomfördes, tolkades och bearbetades enligt en reflexiv intervjumetodik. Resultatet av flickornas tankar kring vikt och Ideal samt upplevelser kring den egna kroppen sammanställdes i analysen till fyra kategorier; oro över sin vikt, rädsla för att gå upp i vikt, osäkerhet kring den egna kroppen samt Idealbildens medförda press.

Den här studien behandlar ämnet ledarskap. Teorier konkluderar att det normativa ledarskapsIdealet baseras på det transformativa ledarskapet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera om en ny ledare i organisationer gör anspråk på ett normativt ledarskapsIdeal och vilka konsekvenser det får, samt i vilka avseenden det finns skillnader mellan den nya chefens beskrivningar av intentioner och vad chefens ansett sig ha uppnått överens med medarbetarnas uppfattningar. Två nya ledare, som varit i liknande situationer, har studerats och jämnförts. Resultatet pekar på att nya chefer som försöker följa det normativa ledarskapet kan skapa omedvetna hinder för sig själva.

Sammanfattningsvis har vi kommit fram till att kvinnor påverkas av medieIdealet i större utsträckning än män. Detta med anledning av tidigt satta könsrollsförväntningar som än idag tydligt framkommer i reklam. Vår studie visar att kvinnor upplever en större rädsla för att inte kunna leva upp till förväntningar skapade av media. Vi märker att män hyllar kvinnliga skönhetsIdeal samtidigt som de för egen del förhåller sig mer distansierat till Ideal satta i reklam..

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the gender system is described in fantasy novels. The theoretical framework is based on Yvonne Hirdman?s theory on gender system, primarily the two basic principles: the principle of dichotomy, of separation between the sexes, and the principle of hierarchy, of man as norm. The method used is idea analysis which is a form of textual analysis.

This thesis is using the theory of participatory democracy to show how one can work to increase the participation in the society, between elections as well as during elections. For a couple of years now many traditional democratic countries have been struggling with low voting rates. Hence this, I find it interesting to study what has been done to cope with this problem. The government in Sweden had a project working on how to make more people involved in the democratic process, especially people that to a lesser extent participate in this process. In this thesis two projects will be studied, Möllevångsgruppen and Unga väljer Miljö i Malmö.

In this essay I examine how identity is created in William S. Burroughs two early novels Junky andQueer. The theoretic starting points are Lacans psychoanlytic concepts ?Ideal ego?, ?egoIdeal? and the ?superego? and also queertheory as presented by Tiina Rosenberg in her book Queerfeministisk agenda.The examination contains an analysis of how Burroughs creates identity in both Junky and Queer with main focus on the second novel. I look at how the desire in the maincharacter Lee is described and what the desire is aimed at.

In order to be a good teacher according to preferences from outside the school area, there are many different voices to listen to. The different roles that are assigned for teachers are colliding with the latest research from the pedagogical institutions and therefore the role as a teacher of today is in a complex state of mind. Somewhere, between the traditional role of teaching and the moderating Ideal image, reality is revealed in the ambivalent role of the teacher of today. In this pedagogical essay on advanced level we are focusing on obstacles that are hindering the moderating teacher?s role, to be fully developed in the classroom.

This paper contains an analysis that sets out to investigate how sustainable development is portrayed in textbooks used in gymnasium level civics education. The study covers three textbooks, all in current use. The paper sets out to explore the relationship between the books chapters on economics and those about environmental issues. The sum of these two parts is in the context supposed to make up the books big picture of green sustainable development, i.e. the ecological aspect of sustainable development. An analytical model will be used to categorise and compare the three textbooks.The method chosen for this is analysis of ideas by use of Ideal types.

This thesis explores the changing prerequisites for accountability in terms of Swedish arms export. The study aims to uncover what has happened with the conditions for accountability in Sweden since the responsibility for export control was transferred from the government to the public administration. By investigating how the term ?accountability? has been used in the literature of democratic theory, an abstract Ideal model is being created.  Comparing the changed structural arrangements, with each other and the Ideal model, it is concluded that the prerequisites for accountability now seems to be in a worse state than they were before..

Studien är explorativ och använder sig av en enkät som undersökningsmetod.

The normative guidelines are then also summarized, and a compari­son is made between this summary and the actual guidelines for SVT.Main results: Although a comprehensive definition is hard to find within the theoretical frame­work, a summary of the theoretical Ideal is carried out.

In recent years coaching has become an increasingly popular phenomenon outside of the sports world. More and more people have found coaching to be a helpful tool for achieving greater performance and fulfillment in their lives. This thesis is a comparative literature study of three books about coaching where the authors use different theoretical bases to explain and teach coaching. The aim of the thesis is to explain how coaching as a phenomenon is described and compare these descriptions as well as to look at the Ideals and norms that are produced and reproduced in the use of coaching. The study compares the three books from six different themes and shows that, in the use of coaching, the Ideal of a rational and action oriented individual is constructed and the aim for this individual is some form of success.

I stadsranden sker det fysiska mötet mellan vägar och gator samt mellan stad och land. Här sker även mötet mellan urbana och rurala Ideal. Syftet i detta arbete är att identifiera och belysa de urbana och rurala Ideal som ligger bakom vår uppfattning om stad och land. Dessa Ideal står i fokus för den litteraturstudie som belyser det bipolära förhållandet mellan den pastorala naturliga landsbygden och den vitala kulturella staden. Bakgrunden till dessa Ideal studeras samt hur gestaltningen och utvecklingen av stad och land påverkats av dessa Ideal.
