Studien utgår från en kvalitativ metod med en hermeneutisk utgångspunkt där semistrukturerade intervjuer har samlat in datan. Syftet med studien var att belysa behandlares uppfattningar om behandlingsmetoder för Anorexia Nervosa hos unga flickor, 13-19 år. Problemformuleringarna var: Hur behandlare använder de behandlingsmetoder som finns, hur behandlare uppfattar de behandlingsmetoder som finns samt hur uppfattar behandlarna behandlingen i framtiden. Resultatet visar på att familjeterapi är den ledande behandlingsmetoden då familjen har en betydande roll för flickans tillfrisknande. Behandlarna uppfattar att behandlingsmetoderna fungerar, men att det krävs att patienten får den behandling hon behöver.

AbstractThis thesis handles the subject about emergency preparedness. The cases that are chosen are Sweden and the tsunami catastrophe and Great Britain with the bombings in London. The purpose with this case study is to reveal what factors that are important for an adequate emergency preparedness plan by studying Sweden?s and Great Britain?s emergency preparedness plans and how they handled the two catastrophes. This study contents a research of the Swedish temperance movements IOGT, NTO and TO:s adult education in Dalarna between 1921 and 1939. A theory that is used in this essay is the publicity theory of Jürgen Habermas. A theory in this essay is that the adult educational work of the temperance movements could bee seen as an alternative publicity because the courses that the temperance movement held in general contents a great part of the movements own literature, the participants in the courses held their own lectures to each other and it was mostly only members of the temperance movements who could join the courses. The main subject of the courses was history in literature, English, Esperanto, and knowledge about local democracy. Not many courses content the drinking issue in Sweden at this time, even thought a national referendum was held in the issue during the research period of this essay.

How effective is consumer power? Can consumers regulate corporate behavior?And if so is the case, could the mechanisms where consumers regulate corporatebehavior have any democratic value to contribute with? These are the questionsthat this master's thesis comprehends with. The purpose of this writing is toconstruct a theory of consumer power that is compatible with democratic theory,this in order to contribute to the ongoing discussion within the discipline ofpolitical science about the third democratic transformation. A discussion that hasbeen actualized due to the democratic deficit created by the growing corporatepower and the shift of power from state to private enterprises. Besides showingfor a parallel between the democratic mechanisms that exists in the relationbetween citizens and state on the one hand, and the consumers and corporationson the other hand, this paper argues that consumers do have a great potential inregulating corporate behavior towards a higher social responsibility andawareness.

According to law all Swedish authorities must express themselves using correct, plain and comprehensible language whenever they communicate with the citizens in order to make it easy to understand what needs to be known to participate in the Swedish democratic society. I would like to explore if there are more tools than the language that could be used to make their communication easier to comprehend, in this case images and stories. In this essay I will investigate the relationship between the written words and the visual components ? images and illustrations ? in brochures from Swedish authorities. I will also try to identify possible narratives in the brochures, and examine the functions of these narratives.

AbstractThe purpose with the study is to see if it is possible to create well functioning and democratic government and parliament in Kosovo, within a near future thru social capital. I have some research questions that will help me reach my purpose: 1. Are Kosovo?s institutions effective and democratic today?2. Does social capital exist in Kosovo today?3.

The purpose of this study is to describe and understand how children?s participation and influence is described in the curriculum of preschool. The purpose includes how educators perceive, working with and what opportunities and challenges they believe that there is in the process of participation and influence. The methods I used were qualitative text analysis and e-mail interviews. I studied text in the curriculum and interviewed four educators to find out their views on children's participation and influence.

Stress är ett allt mer vanligt problem i dagens samhälle, och det finns tydlig forskning som visar att allt fler ungdomar drabbas av psykisk ohälsa. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur ungdomar (18-19 år) på en gymnasieskola i Norrbotten upplevde stress och hur de beskrev att det påverkade dem. Två ungdomar valde att delta i studien. Dessa två ungdomar intervjuades och delade med sig av sina erfarenheter och upplevelser av stress, varpå intervjuerna bearbetades enligt kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att det fanns ett flertal saker som bidrog till stress hos informanterna, bland annat press, krav och förväntningar på körkort samt ideal.

Krav på förändringar av länsindelningarna har ofta ställts, ofta med anspråk på att göra dessa större. Ett stort antal statliga utredningar har under årens lopp behandlat frågan. Jag har i denna uppsats undersökt fem statliga utredningar under 1990- och 2000-talet, dels utifrån vilka förslag man kommit med, dels hur medborgarnas möjlighet till effektivt beslutsfattande och systemens kapacitet att tillgodose medborgarnas önskemål har behandlats i utredningarna. Today, student influence is an important part of the school?s activities and is anchored both in Lgr 11 and the school law. Student influence has gained a larger and more important role thru out the years. Previous research points out that teachers and management at school?s have had difficulties with interpretation and understanding the education plan (curriculum) and to know in which way and how much influence the student should have.

Syftet med studien är att dels beskriva den studerade partnerskolans organisation i allmänhet, inklusive arbetslagen i synnerhet, dels analysera densamma. Målsättningen är att studien ska leda till organisationsmässiga förbättringsförslag som i sin tur kan bidra positivt till skolutvecklingen. I denna studie har intervjuer, enkäter och dagboksmetod använts. För att förstå hur främst lärarna och i viss mån ledningen och elever upplever och ser på organisationen, inkl arbetslagen, har relevant litteratur studerats för att kunna jämföra verkligheten med teorin och se om det går att hitta belägg/förklaringsorsaker för olika synsätt på organisationen. Resultaten pekar på ett missnöje med hela organisationen och ledningen från lärarna. De anser att organisationen är alltför byråkratisk och att de känner sig ?överkörda? genom att inte ha fått möjlighet att få vara med och påverka beslut.

Contemporary plant design can be examined by how it relates to two extremes - Nature and Art. This idea is explained by Noel Kingsbury in the book The Dynamic Landscape where he places designers and their projects on a gradient (Kingsbury, 2004). Nature, one of the extremes can be represented by a dynamic, species-rich plant design with native species and with nature as the ideal. The other extreme - Art implies a more static view on plant design. Here, the designs consist of colourful flowers, exotic species and cultivars with double flowers.

The aim of the thesis is to examine the Swedish publiclibrary-debate between 1965 and 1975, with a focus on theinfluence of the New Left movement. The empirical materialconsists of articles from two library journals, and is studiedwith the intent to achieve knowledge of the library ideologyexpressed in context of the socialist movements of the 1960sand 70s. The method used is ideology analysis. Threedifferent areas of debate have been included in the study:issues pertaining to library holdings, problems concerning theworkplace and social and outreach activities.Some of the salient and key ideas that often recurs in thematerial touch upon the dangers of mass market literature, thenecessity for an expanded workplace democracy, theimportance of social work and the need for a more politicallyactive library. The bureaucracy, centralism and authoritariantendencies in the library world are criticized, as well as thenotion that the library should remain a politically neutralinstitution.
