There is a growing trend in the world, where cities compete with each other by building similar attraction to enhance the tourism at the destination. This competition often results in the opposite where the cities lose their authenticity. Stockholm on the other hand does have the possibility to offer its visitors Stockholm?s archipelago, which is a unique natural phenomenon that cannot be replicated. Stockholm is the most popular tourist destination in Sweden.

The purpose of this study has been to analyze the image of Strindberg in today's upper secondary school. How is the author portrayed in the textbooks and teaching aids, and which parts of the authorship does the textbook and teaching aids authors choose to focus on?  This work has been implemented in the form of a textbook and teaching aids survey where eight textbooks for the upper secondary school from 1989 to 2008 has been analyzed with focus on the sections that consider Strindberg and his authorships.What emerges when studying these textbooks and teaching aids is that they give a rather synonymous picture of the man and the author Strindberg. Big focus is aimed on private life and the scandals that the author more or less voluntary became a part of. The majority of the textbooks treats matters as ?the misogynist? and ? the critic of society? and the so called Inferno crisis, and also when one discusses the literary works it is done in the light of the author's own life and accomplishments.When it comes to the author's literary production it is a very limited selection that is presented to the students.

This essay examines the grotesque in Samuel Becketts wellknown play Waiting for Godot. The play is primarily seen as an Icon of absurdism, and it is such not appropriate to examine the play as if it belongs to the litterary genre of grotesque. The primary purpose of absurdism is to reveal the pointless- and emptiness of existence. In order to illustrate these points absurdism will often make use of the common characteristics of the grotesque. With this in mind I present, within this essay, an eximination of whether Samuel Becket makes use of these characteristics to assist his portayal of emptiness in Waiting for Godot.A prior understanding of absurdism is required and i have as such primarly used Martin Esslins famous studies.The studies of the grotesque are mainly represented by two theorists.

Med det nya millenniet blommade IT-industrin som allra bäst och investerare omsatte stora mängder pengar i aktier och IT-bolagen. Tillväxten var hög och nya aktörer slog sig snabbt fram på marknaden. Sen ?sprack bubblan? som det sägs. Tillväxten stannade upp och försvann, på samma sätt försvann många av dessa nya IT-bolag.

Inom avancerad produktionsindustri använder man sig fortfarande i stor utsträckning av manuell provning för att säkra kvaliteten på de tillverkade produkterna. Detta innebär, förutom att man ofta bara tar stickprov, även en viss fördröjning innan upptäckt av eventuella kvalitetsbrister. Dessutom finns en osäkerhetsfaktor härrörande från den mänskliga faktorn eftersom människans kognitiva förmågor påverkas av dagsform, stressupplevelse, personliga erfarenheter med mera.Examensarbetet har utförts vid Linköpings universitet inom ramen för en magisterutbildning i Ergonomi och MTO (Människa Teknik Organisation). Syftet är att undersöka potentiella vinster vid minskning av den mänskliga faktorn vid övergång från manuell till automatiserad OFP (oförstörande provning). Arbetet består av en litteraturstudie, enkäter till operatörer samt intervjuer med beslutsfattare.Vid detektering, lokalisering, särskiljning, jämförelse och kategorisering spelar perceptionen en stor roll.
